I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Garlic butter burger and Texas Toothpicks which is beer battered onions and jalapeños. In my opinion this burger starts with the bread.. Delicious soft bun that actually fits the patty. The patty had a nice sear on it, it was under seasoned and almost well done. The burger was lacking salt component to complement the garlic. Had the burger been seasoned, and had I have ordered it medium rare, (my mistake) it would have been really good. The burger did come without condiments which I appreciate because I can put my own in appropriate amounts to my liking. I added a pinch of salt, no complaining and we were good to go! I didn't even eat 1/4 of my food! The burgers and portions were HUGE!! The Texas Toothpicks were really good, a good fry was achieved on them. They held up to being dipped in ranch. 1/2 order hot wings and fries The wings were ordered breaded and hot. They had a good crisp, and were fried appropriately! Good amount of salt. The fries were served super crispy, piping hot and perfectly salted. The order came with carrots and celery without having to ask. Ranch.. Ranch is a serious condiment in our household with food like this. It was good. An appropriate amount was served with wings, and of course for us fries and ranch go hand in hand. While they still had their Holiday drink specials menu, the server did confirm they have 2 for 1 mimosas and $6 bloody marys. The special was a Prime Rib breakfast burrito which both of the people I came in with ordered while I ordered the breakfast BLT. The Prime Rib burrito was so tender and juicy with a fried egg in the middle, definitely a special item for sure. I had the BLT on an everything bagel with a side of fruit and it hit the spot of a lighter, less hearty breakfast. For good service and cheap drinks, I will definitely be back!

The Onion Rings were tempura style fresh made in house...no frozen bag crap here. For my husband they were a hair on the doughy side but they weren't greasy at all which a totally appreciate. I'm a dark beer drinker so I went for the MOOSE DROOL if you had to many the moose wouldn't be the only thing drooling .
