After repeatedly hearing about how good this place was, we decided to invite my parents so we could all check it out together. Called ahead and reserved a table - glad we did because the line was out the door at 11am. Two of our orders were sourdough pancake combos, one w/bacon and the other w/sausage. Once received, both combos had bacon. I addressed this with the person who brought the food, and she replied, "do you still want the sausage?" Since that was the original request, we asked to have the sausage. We were given 2 options: 1. Send the entire plate back to have the bacon swapped for sausage 2. They would bring us a single plate with the sausage. Being reluctant to send the entire plate of food back to the kitchen, we chose opt. 2. Shortly after, our server shows up to tell us, "since you've decided to keep the bacon, we're going to have to charge you for a side of sausage." We didn't "decide" to keep the bacon, we decided to keep the entire plate of prepared food on the table, with us. So it could be enjoyed with the rest of us who already had our food. And we were missing a side of hash browns that only showed up after we asked about it. So that order went through at least two sets of eyes and didn't get checked. I absorbed the restaurant's mistake and paid for the sausage. The food was ok. All 4 pancakes were undercooked. Pricing seemed fair. Restaurant was clean and inviting. But, no thanks. One of my favorite places to eat breakfast. I usually order the Veggie Omelette with sweet potato hash. Today my omelette was loaded with spinach,tomato, peppers... a little bit of cheese. Came in on Sunday around 10AM. It wasn't busy at all, there was no wait time which was surprising. There's usually large groups of people outside on weekends. I ordered the Almond Poppyseed French Toast Combo with over easy eggs and bacon as well as a floral kombucha (I can't remember the name of it). The French toast was thick and covered in blueberry compote. It was sweet enough that I didn't need syrup. The bread was soft and fluffy and tasted like sourdough. The bacon was crispy and I believe the eggs are local. The kombucha was sweet and went down nice. Not harsh like most you find at the store. The taste kind of resembled a floral apple juice. So I've always wanted to try two chicks I've heard lots of good stuff about it. But just never ventured out to try it four of us ladies from our Tuesday morning Bible study decided to go. . A couple of them have tried it before and raved about the food. Walking in it was very quaint nice surroundings very bright. She was very sweet and attentive checked on us often provided refills without us having to ask and when everybody was ready took our orders. Everything was quick. I did order coffee. I wish they had heavy cream as an option. Cause it's easier on my stomach than half-and-half, but still good. I ordered the harvest omelette which had sausage and butternut squash something I would've never thought to put in a omelette. It was very tasty. It had shavings of sage on top. My only complaint is that it wasn't very hot. I wish it had been a little bit hotter Not spicy hot but a lot warmer than how it came out. I only ate a portion since it got cold pretty quick that's the reason it's a four star rating instead of a five, but I didn't wanna complain. The Parmesan hashbrowns were hot and tasty. We have been to the midtown location, but not this location. There could have been more parking, but it's better than midtown. When we walked inside, it was a lot more spacious than I expected. We were greeted and brought to a table fairly quick. They were moderately busy around 11am on a Wednesday and it took a while for someone to take our drink orders, so we were ready to order when they came. The second time we came here was also on a week day and it wait for drinks were much quicker. I ordered the Ultimelt: this grilled cheese is amazing with the crispiness on the outside and the melted cheese oozing on the inside. The fries were really good because it was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The saltiness was spot on. Sicilian Omelette: this was amazing with the cheese and Italian sausage. I had the marinara on the side. Came with a side of toast and hash browns Peach Cobbler French Toast Combo: Ice cream would have been amazing with it, but it wouldn't be a breakfast at that point lol. A bit sweet for me though. Haven't been to two chicks south in a while and my husband and I were able to get right in today on a Wednesday morning around 7am. I had my favorite - the two chick scramble, and it did not disappoint! eggs, ham, cream cheese, spinach, mushrooms, all of the wonderful goodness, and I opted for the crispy hashbrowns. I always look forward to the daily special butter and today was a honey butter that was creamy and sweet on the sourdough toast. My husband had the steak and eggs and he said it was one of the best breakfast steaks he's had. usually the breakfast steaks are thinner not as tender and this was one of the Best He's had in a long time. Coffees were really good and not bitter which is a bonus. Food was flavorful and everyone enjoyed their meals! Very nice chill breakfast and atmosphere :) The highlight and main reason for my 5 stars is the fact that they were so kind to a homeless man who came in for breakfast. I only caught the end of his meal but his server was helpful with making sure he understood his payment and filled up his Stanley with extra coffee and just allowed him to take his time wrapping up. I would recommend adding a side of toast, or asking for more fries. .5 for the curds feeling like they were missing, and 1 off the lack of fries and over use of gravy. I was a bit disappointed today when I went here for breakfast. Hostess was nice, waitress was nice and was either being trained or was shadowing someone. They took our order and didn't come back to refill or check in on our waters and coffee till after we were half way done with our meals. Both of mine were empty before I got my meal.
