Just ordered delivery and the food is good! Not bad at all! That's why I'm giving this business 3 stars. Other than that, bad service! First, they made me wait on the phone. Then, when they finally got my order, the girl on the line asked me the name of my street about 5 times! I kept repeating and repeating like a parrot! So, she passed the phone to a guy, who asked me AGAIN the name of the street. Well, at least, the dude could understand English. It was cringy. I really can't understand how people who don't speak English get jobs in USA... Awkward... O.o She comes back to the phone to take my order and, since she can't speak English, I try my best to explain, talk slowly and loud. She hangs up on me while I'm asking how much. I call again. After the 4th attempting, they get the phone. I say she forgot to give me the total! She sounds so distracted and like has no clue of shit!!! Seriously!!! I'd give 4 stars with that, but their curry is a joke. Two thirds of the pot is curry juice. Just a little pieces of potatoes, carrots and chicken. Poor and wack. read more

I personally enjoy eating at this restaurant. It's close to where I live and it's the only convenient thai food restaurant I have truly enjoyed. The food is pretty filling for me and fairly good. The prices are reasonable! However, if you're looking for a full on sit down service this isn't the place for you to be. The people that work there are quite polite (except for this one chick that works there that barely understands english or something). She tends to get our whole order wrong every time and we're regulars there. She's also the only one that's probably not polite. What I like about the place is that we're able to substitute the meat with tofu (boyfriend is vegan). I'm also allergic to nuts and eggs and that can also be taken out of the dish. The food is made fresh. I personally love that you can also choose your level of spiciness. Unfortunately, I think the only thing that bothers me is that the spiciness level isn't quite consistent. Some days spicy can be bland and sometimes it can be super spicy! My favorite dishes has got to be their pineapple fried rice and the spicy eggplant. The downside to this place is that it's on a main street.The parking can be horrible, but so far we haven't had a bad experience where we had to park far. I think that service is far better when you eat in rather than getting takeout. Our takeout took so long before we even got it (longer than 20 mins waiting time). read more

WOW! Nothing like finding a "little gem" like this place. My wife and I were looking to either get Japanese or Thai food for an early dinner and found Pink Elephant on yelp. Its close to where we feed a stray cat at a local hotel around 5:30-6:30pm everyday, so, it was close to the location and we decided to give it a try. We have driven by it many times before, but we never have stopped by. IM GLAD WE DID!!! The place is very small and cozy, the staff was very warm and welcoming and the food was not pricey at all and it was VERY DELICIOUS! My wife got the kung pao tofu combo special and I got the spicy cashew chicken combo special, EXTRA SPICY! We always share our meals and hers was just as yummy as mine. I like very spicy food and was pleased that they accommodated my request. WHOAAAAA NELLY!! VERY SPICY! All in all, we had an incredible experience and will be returning real soon. I'll start by saying This place is enjoying a great yelp score that previous owners earned. I use to come here at least 3 times a week. I still remember a couple years ago, I came and walked out saying, "did this place go through new ownership?" The nice girl that worked there was gone. The menu was the same, but my go to dish came out looking and tasting different. The last couple years we joked about going back. Maybe it was just a bad day? Maybe if we go back it will be as great as it had always been. So finally we came back. The place looked the same. Well the A grade on the window has become a B. The menu was the same, except for the higher prices taped over the old prices. I asked the people behind the counter if the place had gone through new ownership, and they said yes, they bought it two years ago. My food arrived. It wasn't the same great dish I use to order. By the way, when we arrived there was a table that needed to be cleaned up. When we left, that same table was still a mess. I wonder how long it would take them to bus our table? If they are ok with the dinning area being a mess, I wonder how the kitchen where our food is being prepared looks. Now I see why their A grade has been downgraded to a B. Now you see why my A grade for this place has now become an F. While my dish was different it was still pretty good. But the fact that it use to be great makes good very disappointing. This place cooks up authentic thai food and they are all ao delicious! i always order their shrimp fried rice which they put plenty of shrimp and the seasoning is perfect! I also like their tomyum soup. Tom yum soup is tangy and sweet and its addicting. I always order medium spicy. Then I ve tried their laab. All I can say that this place is better than any fancy thai restaurant in the valley. They really know the thai food. Great local restaurant! I have a severe sea food allergy and I told the cashier beforehand and he was so respectful and made sure my food was responsibly made. I usually tend to get a small reaction because of the shrimp being cooked somewhere nearby but this place did an impeccable job. Okay so I had gave this place another chance and it was a fail. They took longer than they should have on my delivery order. It was estimated 40-60 minutes. It was now 70 minutes so I called and the manger picked up and was so upset that I was asking a simple question, if my food was out for delivery. He was yelling at me that he has so much deliveries that it would be another hour but I shouldn't be calling to ask. I told him he should have just answered me politely and I would have understood him. I told him that i didn't appreciate his yelling and I would be asking for a refund. I just got my order delivered, sooner than I expected. The man who came to leave the order a very kind and educated person. The order came excellent presentation, all divided in a clean way, not like most of the Chinese restaurants that put everything together. This is a two part review, for the two times I've ordered delivery from Pink Elephant: Part 1: we ordered delivery here for the first time a couple of months ago, and were absolutely thrilled with the quality. I've been struggling to find a good Pad Thai since we moved to this area last summer, and they didn't disappoint! Part 2: we ordered delivery last night, Shrimp Pad Thai and Chicken Fried Rice... what happened?! The Pad Thai was watery, half of the noodles with sauce and the other half dry, the shrimp tasted overly fishy, I was shocked. At least my husband seemed satisfied with the chicken fried rice. Fast forward to this morning and wow I can't seem to escape the toilet! My stomach hurts like crazy! Are they under new management? Staff changes? I came into pink elephant based on all the great reviews it had and how close it was to my home. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food and the service was great. It's one of those places where you order your food and then pick a table and they bring your food to your table which I didn't mind at all. Parking was a breeze there was tons of spaces available on Sherman Way I didn't get to check if they had parking in the back. Usually when I go to Thai food order the same three things every time, Spring rolls, beef broccoli, and pad see ew. The spring rolls had to be my favorite and definitely some of the best I've had in the valley. The beef broccoli was the less exciting item of the three and the noodles I'd give a four out of five. We have ordered for delivery for about 3 years and the food has always been good. Over this past year though their delivery has gotten slower and slower. First it was about an hour wait, then it was about 1.5 hour wait and then on my birthday we ordered dinner and it took two hours to arrive (we live less than 2 miles away). When I called to check the status after an hour and a half the lady told me he was on his way and hung up on me :(. We declined delivery of the food and went out for Mexican.
