Great selection of delicious drinks and pastries. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is nice to hang out. Plenty of parking.

Didn't even realize this cafe was there until while driving around Costco to kill some time I saw the sign and decided to check it out. Atmosphere is cute and inviting though relatively small space. I ordered the Ube Purple Sticky Rice Mango shake and it changed my life lol haven't had any of their pastries yet but they look amazing. Service was willing to answer questions and are welcoming and attentive.

New fav place in Kona!!! This cookie I got had marshmellow, white chocolate chips, ube... I mean... this thing... oreos... I don't even know what else... it was so freaking good I'd buy a box of these and become obese making them a daily staple of my diet. SO FREAKING GOOD. Also, they have heart straws you guys... I mean... whatttttt... this place. So awesome.

Can't go wrong with anything from Pink Mocha. Try the specialty coffee, bakery selection and definitely get a açaí bowl.

Love this place! Ordered their acai bowl and customized an matcha latte w/ Ube cold foam - both 10/10!! Servers were so friendly and the cafe is so cute! Will definitely be back whenever I visit

What? Where has this place been hiding? In this very spot for the past 11 years, I am told! Heart shaped everything... and for good reason! Wow! Do not come to the BIG ISLAND without checking out this place. Especially at Christmas time- it is all decked out! And the menu is - wow! I had the pumpkin protein cookie dough and an iced caramel & butter pecan latte topped with pumpkin cold foam

The staff is so nice and willing to answer any questions. Their cafe inside is clean and smells amazing. They have a ton of gluten free options, we tried to chocolate muffin and it was the best gluten free muffin I have ever had. There are benches outside you can enjoy the weather and the beautiful water views as well

Kona coffee was super strong . Cute pink heart shaped straws Açaí bowl was a 4/10. I think they store them pre frozen in a freezer chest because the base was icy. Disappointed with the frozen blueberries for topping. Small ($8) was pretty small but good enough for a snack. There are better options on the island and in the area.

We stopped here for a quick coffee and breakfast. Had not had my açaí bowl yet for Hawaii trip. I got the large and my mother in law got the kid size. Both delicious. I got the large iced coffee and also the warmed up banana bread

Stopped by because of the açaí bowls but the drinks were so good. The barista suggested something ube since it was house made. So good! My boys got açaí bowls and were very happy. I got a banana bread with cookie butter warmed and it was delicious! Definitely visiting again. And everything heart shaped was so cute.

Paid $16 for the regular Acai bowl. And it came out like this... didn't expect to get a half eaten Acai bowl if I paid for the larger size.. OH and I waited 20 minutes + for this bowl. And as I drove off, I realized they didn't add my peanut butter drizzle that I ordered and paid for! Very disappointing cafe.

Very cute and spacious cafe near the Kona airport. We needed to kill some time and grab breakfast before our flight so we stopped by here. Lots of coffee options, plus blended options too. The pricing isn't super clear based on their menu (like what size is what price, what alternative milk options or syrups they had) so I had to ask the lady to list all of these off for me. And they only had pastries out when we were at the counter, but there were quiches on their back counter, so we asked about those for breakfast. Many people came in and ordered the acai bowl though, so that's probably also a good option as well. They also have some milk tea/boba options as well. Staff was super friendly, and the quiches (one of was a veggie option, another was bacon + cream cheese) were both filling and a great savory breakfast choice. The coffee was solid as well, we got both an iced pink mocha and hot coconut latte with macnut milk. Both were solid and enjoyable coffees. Free wifi here so could be a nice spot to work out of it as well. Parking spaces can be a bit tight if you have a truck, but I've seen some people do it (and others park on the street and walk up). Lovely and cute cafe. If you sit outside, you even get a view!

Great Kona coffee in a wonderful casual atmosphere!…read more I had to meet up/interview a potential Big Island candidate in Kailua-Kona and I was basically looking for a casual place where I could meet, enjoy a drink, and have a little bit of conversation. Kona Coffee & Tea was the place of choice here in Kailua-Kona. Located at the Kona Coast Shopping Center, you can find this little coffee shop just next door from KFC. The coffee shop is easy to find, as other business surrounding this business is the KTA Superstore, Hele Gas Station, HFS Federal Credit Union, O'Reilly Auto Parts, as well as many numerous eateries. It was late in the afternoon, so I basically came here for some drinks. I had to try their Kona Coffee, and I must say it did not disappoint! The coffee shop has indoor, as well as covered outdoor seating. The shop does sell some food items, but I did not partake or looked at what they had to offer. There was also coffee shop merchandise, but I did not have time to take a look at what they had to offer. Overall, as great coffee shop and if I'm in the area again, I wouldn't hesitate to stop by for their wonderful coffee.

Unless you're a coffee connoisseur, you may want to skip the pour over for something a bit less special to save yourself a few dollars. The coffee was fine, but my unrefined palette was not able to fully appreciate the cup of brew. In terms of atmosphere, Kona Coffee & Tea has plenty of seating outdoors around the porch and a few high tables indoor, where they have AC blasting at full strength. They have free Wi-Fi available as well, so I saw a lot of people posting up on their laptops. Parking is plentiful and easy to find since this coffee spot is located in a strip mall. If you have a discerning palette for the subtle flavors that show up in different coffee beans, you will definitely want to stop by for a cup.

Cute bakery and cafe during our visit to the Big Island…read more It was a pretty long line to the door when we got there around 9am. When we got to the front, it looked like the regular croissants were already out but it seemed like the breakfast croissant was still available so it was an easy choice for us to choose this since pictures online looked good as well as the customer demolishing the sandwich from his seat across the room. We also ordered a passion fruit tart and Strawberry cinnamon roll for food and got a latte as well as a morning Kona coffee shake for myself. We asked for our drinks to go but there was a small mix-up since the receipt stated both "For Here" and "To go". Apologies!! as we know it may have caused some frustration during the busy morning rush. Overall, I enjoyed this place would love to return to just enjoy the big open space and more of their food and drink options.

I ordered an iced mac nut latte and a lilikoi pastry. Unfortunately there wasn't any mac nut syrup in either of the lattes we ordered, but the pastry was delicious. It is a very religious cafe- lots of Christian themed merch, decor and even the wifi password. I'm sure it's a great place for religious related meet-ups but it may be the most religious forward bakery/cafe I've ever been to.

This spot is located in a food court area and was actually the only place open when we arrived. Since it is a stall, there is not too much to say other than there were two people working and a large display case filled with donuts, with malasadas in the back. After looking things over I asked if they had a lilikoi circle donut. They did not, but they recommended a strawberry glazed donut with lilikoi filling and I went with that. It came out nicely decorated with a pink glaze and a small dab of cream on top with a butterfly. When I bit into it I was happy with the flavor. The donut itself was light and fluffy and the strawberry glaze was solid. The real standout though was the lilikoi filling, which had that great balance of sharpness and sweetness and paired really well with the donut. My dad ordered a coconut malasada and said it was really good as well. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. They had a big selection of donuts, I enjoyed mine, and I would like to try their malasadas next time.
