Seriously good food. The food and service was amazing. We didn't have to wait long after putting our order in. Our food was ready quick. Staff were very helpful and kind. The spot is clean quaint and cozy on the inside and having the laid back charm of a diner with a bit of a farmhouse feel. Casual dining at it's best. Pinky's Eatery is great for takeaway if you want to take your food with you. We sat at one of the tables and enjoyed eating ours right there inside. Food here is AMAZING! I've had their crab cakes (delicious and not just a bunch of filler), their fried shrimp is my absolute favorite - they are lightly breaded and large ! Pinky's is a small place with a big heart and even bigger flavor. Everything we ordered was fantastic and generous portions. We all three had leftovers. But for me, the showstopper was the pulled pork. Hands down the best I've ever had and I let them know. The owner laughed and thanked me, telling me he smoked them this morning. Ordered a shrimp poboy. The shrimp had a-lot of potential, although it was early in the day, the shrimp tasted like they were cooked in old grease. Also had the mac and cheese, it was pretty good. Have to pay attention getting to the place. Their sign has coming soon, covered with a small piece of tape as they are open. This is definitely a carry out place, don't want to stay to sit and eat. Overall, I would try this place again, but I will not try anything that is fried. When I have a chance to go back I am hoping to have a better review. The place has potential! read more

Friendly staff helped answer food questions, plus customers would chime in and help evaluate spicyness of sauces. We went with Po'Boy shrimp and Pecan Wood Smoked Ribs with mac'n cheese and sweet potato casserole. Ribs were smoky and tender. Po'Boy shrimp was delicious with the perfect amount of spice in the sauce. Casserole was good. The mac'n cheese was kind of like a soufflé, I could task egg in it and it had a creamy texture. Stopped here on a whim after strawberry picking. While service was a bit slow, it was so worth it for the food we had. The fried chicken was fresh and crispy, literally straight out of the fryer. The green beans were delightful and the macaroni and cheese was exactly what I had hoped it would be. The ribs were tender and smothered in a delectably sweet sauce (grab extra napkins). This spot has been around for awhile, but I just visited this week and it was a great decision. Located off of Route 2 North, it is away from the city town centers of Prince Frederick and Huntingtown, but worth the trip. Upon entering the small, mostly delivery and carry out establishment, the smell of smoky ribs and meat hit me immediately. The soul food menu is full and the portions are great. It include favorite like smoked ribs/chicken, fried catfish, shrimp po-boys, and also some local faves like stuffed shrimp and, of course,crab cakes. I had the jerk chicken dinner with sides of collard greens/cabbage mix and homemade Mac-n-cheese. The smoky chicken was delicious and the jerk seasoning was spicy but not overpowering. The greens mix was melt in your mouth good with the southern flavor my great grandmother used to cook with, and the Mac-n-cheese had a home style feel with lots of cheesy flavor. I also grabbed a side of the fried asparagus. It was great, had a tempura feel, and not over saturated with grease flavor like at some other places. The service was great and with the happy customers coming in and out during my visit, it is obvious that they have a loyal following. Food is made to order, so this is not fast food, but worth a little wait. I did not call ahead and was in/out in about 20 minutes. You can call ahead and pick up, and they also have delivery service within limited areas. Gone here twice now and have been extremely pleased both times. Shrimp Po Boy is full of delicious fried and seasoned to perfection shrimp on a delicious roll. I can honestly say I have never had a bad meal from here. Our favorite meals so far have been the fried oysters, fried shrimp, salmon with crab imperial, the spaghetti bake, meatloaf, the fish dinners. All the sides have been the best from the sweet potato souffle, to the best green beans, the brocolli cheese bake, the greens to the best cornbread ever! We have never been disappointed. The meals are enough for 2 if that is what you want to do. We usually get one each and have enough for lunch the next day! Friendly owner and staff. The food was good. My only issue was being told that the order would be ready in twenty minutes, but then it wasn't ready for an hour. If they'd have just told me that up front, I'd have left and run some errands and then picked it up later. That's a long time to stand around waiting for your take-out order. But other than that, it was good food. Not something I'll probably get again, even if it was faster. But still good. Worth a try- but just order on the phone ahead, and double the wait time that they tell you. read more

Came here as a rest stop from a work trip. It was a little lost at first since google maps says this location is a church and the sign is kind of hidden.
