I went to this establishment with my friends for the first time and wanted to try out rock climbing. It was just a regular night and we weren't expecting anything to wrong. Before rock climbing, the employee never attaches a harness or rope on me and tells me to start climbing. Let's keep in mind that I've obviously never rock climbed before. No instruction were given. He looked like he didn't know what he was doing, but I still decided to trust him and climb up. I reach the top (without a rope) and he tells me to come down and I say, "HOW." He tells me to slowly hop down and at this time I realize this guy never attached a harness on me. As soon as I know it I'm already falling down. I fell 12 feet from the top without a rope and had bloody hands and hurt my feet. On top of everything, the manager Dominik (Dom) was very hostile and aggressive. He decided to make a scene in front of the other families by calling us "threats to the facility" and much more. Rather than apologizing to us he blamed my friends and I for the whole experience and was really rude. On top of that none of the rock climbers were being supervised. He threatened to kick us out. The other employees were a little bit nicer, but weren't any help during the situation. At least one of the employees gave me an alcohol swab and band aids for my hands that were bleeding. I've never had this experience at a Pinstack before and the manager on duty should be fired. I had to argue with the manager for like 15 minutes just to get the Assistant manager's contact information. I still haven't heard back from the Assistant manager since the incident. Don't know what else I can do to get in touch with them. I'm not going to just let it go. Unacceptable and terrible service. Don't waste your time coming here. Go to the much better Plano location. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would. I had a BUG in my beer and they weren't sympathetic at all. As a bartender myself it's was a terrible experience. Our lanes messed up and we were given 20 mins of extra time ( not really extra because we had to wait for assistance although it was empty). The service here is terrible. After complaining about the service the manager was kind enough to give us game cards. Ordered food and the food sat in the window for a good 20 minutes before anyone even checked to see if it was for their customer. Worst experience ever! read more

She constantly went above and beyond for our party as we had some hiccups that night with the communication between some of the managers with how long we should have had the lane for but she made she we still had a place to hang out and made sure we had outstanding service! This place SUCKS! Came here numerous times over the years and had a good experience. Today, not so much. Finally got a lane in VIP and waited over 20 mins before anyone took my order. I actually had to go out into the main lobby to find a server to even do that. I paid for an hour and a half. In that hour and a half the lane malfunctioned and I had to wait, burning up the time I paid for...peak time at that. I searched out a manager to try and make it right. Spoke to a manager and he said he'd be back with a resolution. 40 mins later...no manager, and no resolution. I won't be back here again. Next time I'll just take my kids to Main Event for their birthday parties...this place is a JOKE! read more

Poor service for birthday party. We just had our daughter's 10th birthday party at Pinstack Allen a week ago. We had one of her previous parties at the Plano location two years ago. We were again very happy with all the games offered, but we were quite frustrated with how our party was hosted. Most of the time, we felt ignored and rushed, rather than welcomed. 1. The host kept the cake on a service table away from the main dining table, so our daughter weirdly blew the candles out standing far, far away from her friends and family. Our host apparently did not like the trouble to move the cake or was not trained properly. And she did not ask where she should set the cake. 2. She did not notify us parents nor the kids properly before urging to start the birthday song. I had to call the four kids who were still playing outside to rush in to join the song. Meantime, I did not had time to get my camera ready. 3. She did not bother to put all the food on the table. I understand that she could not be around all the time. But when she was briefly in the room, she ignored kids requests to refill their cups, to pass the food out, so kids or parents had to do that themselves. I understand Allen is a relatively new location, but I hope the service can at least go up to par. read more

This place is awesome! I've been to the Plano location plenty of times, so I'm pretty excited to have one much closer to home. I love that there is so much to do in one place and it has a much nicer feel than some of the other similar entertainment spots. We decided to grab some food while we waited. While it is kind of typical bar food, everything we ordered was really good. Bri was our server-she was super attentive and overall really awesome! I've been the this Pinstack in Allen twice now and both times the service I received was very poor. The first time, I pressed the service button three times, and if that wasn't enough I had to actually go get the staff myself because they were too busy talking to each other. After several times of trying to get the servers attention, they proceeded to say "I didn't know you trying to get my attention". And the delivery of the food was very slow as well. The second time I went, I was expecting poor service and that's exactly what I got. I was having trouble with my bowling lane, and when I went to go get help there wasn't one worker in sight. I had to go find a worker multiple times. Also, while playing an arcade game, it just shut down out of nowhere. The bowling and arcade itself was wonderful, besides a little hiccup here and there, but the staff is unorganized and distracted. read more

Several games didn't work and the bar staff seemed clueless of their surroundings; meaning, we had to chase down the "bartenders" for a drink or closing a tab during non peak hours. Went here last night for my friends birthday. I had the best time I've had in a while. Our waiter Latoya was litterally the best waiter I've had since I've moved to Texas(it's been about 8 years) her dedication to her guest is impeccable. She had the lanes jumping!!!! Anything we needed, she was there! And it was packed, she had other sections and I could tell from her interactions with them that they loved her as much as we did. I left this woman a 80% tip and honestly she needs to be in management! I've been to all 3 of the new locations. Best service hands down! I live in Las Colinas but will be driving to Allen to see Latoya when I want to bowl. read more

I have never been anywhere with worse service and lack of attention on my entire life. I NEVER right reviews like this but after over 20 years in restaurants and bars, I have never witnessed anything as bad. My family is in town for my birthday and Xmas with kids that are 9 and 12. WE wanted to eat dinner and let them play games, but it took 30 mins to get greeted AFTER I went up to THE ONLY WAITRESS behind the bar to ask for service. During this time 4 tables walked out and we didn't receive our food until over an hour later and my father, who ordered a cheeseburger didn't receive his burger until 10 mins AFTER we finished eating. No managers, no bussers and one server. Food was cold and incorrect when we received it. Piss poor effort for any managers I have ever seen. read more

They need a way to put your name on a list when you get there instead of standing there waiting for the slow ass staff to wait on or talk to you. Allen, Texas. This is a nice place to bowl and the food is very good. We have been three times now and after bowling we always go into the arcade. All three times (over a three month period) many of the machines were broken down but even worse was winning at some of the games and thinking your tickets were being awarded on your cards (because physical tickets never popped out but you definitely won some) then getting to the prize area to cash those tickets in and not one ticket showed up on the cards. We have four different cards with four different people. If this happened once I would be annoyed, twice I let it go but this third time is the straw that broke the camels back. When you have kids expecting to be able to get a prize and their card shows nothing and neither did mine or my husbands (remember we know we won and had many tickets that should have been on our cards) it is very disappointing to say the least. Took the family on a Saturday. Got 2 lanes for a couple hours. Overall, a very positive experience. The mood there was light and fun. The lanes are great and have all of the latest technology. Of special note were two employees: Latoya, our server, went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was great. She is personable and fun to work with. Brandon stopped by to make sure that we were taken care of repeatedly and was available if we had any questions.
