Have only bowled here in the past with the kids and their friends. So my familiarity with there food was kind of lacking. I had no idea just how big the dining area are, not to mention the outdoor area in back. Today was the perfect day to dine alfresco. We sat outside under a huge umbrella. There is outdoor seating for approximately sixty with a great fire pit with 7 Adirondack chairs for chilly nights. She ordered the Turkey Cobb salad which was the perfect lunch size. Compliments all around for the freshness, plating and the delicious dressing. I had the poke bowl. It was amazing. I've never had watermelon in a poke before but this bowl had them and was packed with flavor. Each bite had a combination of exquisite flavors. I was impressed. Their beer and wine menu is healthy, lots of Prisoner brand wines, my fav. Service was ok, not great but there was only one server and there were six tables including us. She was very friendly and apologetic when things were running a little slow. That counts for a lot in my book. We checked into the Sheraton Chicago Northbrook Hotel as hungry travelers and had no idea the delightful treats that awaited us at the bowling alley nearby! We arrived Friday at 5:30 PM, just in time for happy hour! I haven't felt this excited to write a Yelp review in quite some time. The food and service was exceptional at Pinstripes. Server Ryan and Manager Tony took excellent care of us! We enjoyed several of the chefs' seasonally inspired dishes including the Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower starter (OH MY GOD!), Burrata Caprese (beautifully plated) and the Ultimate Veggie flatbread (Who knew veggies could taste this good?!). My husband enjoyed their classic prime rib dip that was delectable! Their most beloved handcrafted cocktail is the Margarita Italiano, a delightful surprise of Don Julio tequila and Limoncello. So this my third time going to Pinstripes, but my second time going to this location. Last time I was here at the Glenview location, I had gone bowling with my family and had dinner. This time, I'm here celebrating my aunt's wedding anniversary. This would also be my second time eating from their Brunch menu. I also love that the brunch menu is buffet style so their a variety of foods. Not sure how different the Brunch menu was going to be, but I'm glad I enjoy it. Entering this region, the atmosphere was very lively and it's very easily to socialize with other customers. The only con I can think of, is that you have to make reservations ahead of time, otherwise I would definitely recommend taking your family to Pinstripes for brunch, but the brunch menu was similar. Went on NYE. I understand things are busy on holidays, but this was just unacceptable. They were having an event for kids on NYE with a noon time ball drop. Great. Except for we booked our Bocce court at 1:30 pm and there were still kids everywhere, running around unsupervised . Multiple children were kicking or moving our bocce balls and messing up our game, and the staff did absolutely nothing about it. Why would you have a giant event but accept reservations for courts while there is a giant event actively going on on the courts. The entire building was so hot, and in the women's downstairs bathroom there was no soap (even though they told me the first time I tried to use the bathroom I couldn't go in because their maintenance team was working on the soap machine) and it was probably 80 degrees in the bathroom with the heat blasting. I made my first visit to Pinstripes Northbrook for a work party last month. It's a sports entertainment facility combined with a restaurant and bar. The entertainment provides bocce ball and bowling. We didn't partake in the bocce and bowling as both are separate costs and each sport charges by the hour. Note: Reserving a spot on the weekend costs more versus the weekday. They have a few party rooms and toward the back of the restaurant, there was a wedding in progress. My husband and I got a chance to try the weekend brunch buffet and it was delicious. The variety of food was amazing and there was a good mix of breakfast and lunch items. We especially enjoyed the omelet station, the carving station (which had prime rib), and the chocolate fountain. At $37 pp, it's a nice facility. The food and service was great. It's the perfect spot to celebrate special occasions and if I need to plan an event, Pinstripes would be on the top of my list. read more

Wow. What can I say about my wedding at Pinstripes? It was AMAZING!!! We worked with Sami and Andrea for a whole year and some change planning our wedding. They were so great with communication, answering a million questions, and answering emails in a timely manner. Pinstripes itself is such a beautiful venue and the food is SO GOOD. Fine dining WHERE? In a bowling alley? Yes! An invite to a birthday party in Pinstripes' bocce ball wing several months ago introduced us to this venue. The other night, we returned with friends to enjoy a fine dinner in their contemporary dining room. If a ball fling isn't your thing, you can come here just to dine and/or enjoy a drink at the bar, which features a broad selection of wine and beer. BTW, the bowling alley itself is behind a soundproof glass wall. A reservation mixup was the only 'gutter ball' we encountered all evening. The dinner menu, updated seasonally, features sandwiches, salads, and Italian specialties including wood-fired pizzas and flatbread, pasta dishes, and entrées. Our server, pleasant and attentive, seemed to know the menu backwards and forwards. A basket of freshly-baked flatbread sliced into narrow strips was brought with a bowl of herbed olive oil for dipping. I began with a Caesar salad, which was elevated by a rich dressing and generous shavings of Parmesan. I'm fond of jambalaya and gave their "Italian Jambalaya" entrée a go. Pinstripes' inventive take on this Louisiana classic was attractively plated and amazingly good, I daresay even better than the classic Cajun recipe. My Missus was 'bowled over' by the boneless short rib, a rich-tasting hunk of tender beef accompanied by garlic mashed potatoes and charred broccolini. Others in our party raved about how enjoyable their sandwiches were, particularly the "Famous Prime Rib Dip." Next time, we'll try to save room for dessert. I submitted multiple submissions via their online contact page requesting contact, providing callback and email each time, and attempted unsuccessfully to call the restaurant to speak with an available manager to resolve this issue amicably. I searched, but could not find any alt corporate numbers. This could not have been resolved day of, since there's a delay in credit card processing. In my opinion, way too much effort on my end to get to the bottom of this. In dispute: My receipt from 12NOV2022, and what I recorded as total, differed (not in my favor) from what was actually charged to my credit card. I immediately contacted, and requested a copy of my signed receipt to compare, knowing myself as to unlikely record a different amount, or how the total rounded up to a whole dollar, not my tipping behavior. No response as of writing. I caution those that do patronize, to take a photo of what you tip to their server at this location. Somewhere in-between from what I signed for, to where it was entered in their system got adjusted in their server's favor. Please make this right Pinstripes. My only complaint is that the brunch buffet can be very hit or miss, especially if you arrive in the last hour or two. Getting out again after being vaccinated is great! Pinstripes has a nice patio that makes the transition more comfortable. We met my sis and bro-in-law for an early dinner. Drinks were good. And my food was great. Service is friendly, but a bit slow. I still gave it four stars because it was so nice to sit and relax and catch up, so even if the service was slow, it was ok for that evening. We got a hummus appetizer. It had two kinds of hummus with veggies and pita. Delish. My burger had this amazing sauce and a fried jalapeño on top. It had fried onion rings on it. I took them off and ate them separately. The front desk was fairly unhelpful since we were a walk in and were telling us they can only one lane for 45 minutes since they had a large party coming up. We ended up getting a large pitcher of red sangria which definitely enough for a party of 8! We asked the front desk if there's a possibility to continue playing. We went there for Easter today. We were looking for a place to have a little fun and get a nice Easter brunch. While the "brunch" wasn't really brunch related, the bocce and the food was great! We made reservations to play bocce for an hour before eating. Placing reservations online was easy, but I appeared to have lost the confirmation email. As for brunch, as I mentioned, the food was more lunch than brunch. Still, they had mimosas and bloody Mary's and a few egg dishes so everybody was satisfied. I had the French dip sandwich and a side of Avocado toast. The sandwich was excellent and the horseradish and spicy ketchup was flavorful. The avocado toast was ok. It could have used a little bit of salt. We ended with dessert which was generally ok. The cookies were the highlight and something I'd come back for. Outside of it being a little expensive, we were greatly impressed wish the food, the safety, and the service. I have not bowled or played Boccie at Pinstripes, but I've enjoyed so many wonderful evenings with friends in the bar area & restaurant. Who would think a chain in a burb would have such wonderful food and beverages?! What first caught my interest about Pinstripes was running into one of their chefs at a local farmers market on a Saturday whipping up a pasta dish with fresh local ingredients. I was intrigued! Some of the items on their menu are a bit pricey, but they have happy hour specials, so we can go for a drink and an appetizer sometimes and save a bit. It we want to splurge on a special occasion we will visit Pinstripes on the weekend and eat in the restaurant. The staff are always super friendly and helpful. The establishment has a cozy feel despite being a large place. They do have several rooms and areas for corporate and events and parties. It's a popular place for Bar & Bat MItzvahs in our area. I actually attended a work holiday party that was held in one of the upstairs rooms one year and was surprised by how nice the event was - the food was good and that doesn't always happen at holiday parties!
