Came for the food only! One thing I've noticed is that this place does a good job with pairing textures. The crunch from the potato string paired perfectly with the tenderloins. The chicken Parmesan wasn't really seasoned well but the sauce made up for that but The crusted chicken was perfectly crunchy though. The jambalaya was good but I've had better the flavor wasn't all the way there. The cheesecake however was PERFECT! They caramelized the top which gave it this very light crunch and it just paired so well with the berry sauce and whipped cream. Overall would recommend and would definitely come back for that cheesecake and probably will do a little bowling as well next time. read more

I really tried to like it, but no. What I had to drink was a "sangrio" and i could not distinguish what type of alcohol it had. One of the drink had something dark on the rim and it was obvious they just changed the glass. Food tenderloin sliders where ok. burger was not ok and the mac and cheese was horrible. The noise throughout the restaurant is so deafening that it creates an echo which leads to a massive headache. Cars honking are quieter. There really is nothing special this place has to offer. We came here while in search of a happy hour place and Pinstripes did not disappoint! They have very good selection of liquors for their happy hour in which most places would offer you bottom shelf, they do not & the well cocktails are only $5! They also have food on their happy hour menu like a giant pretzel, sliders and so on. The service was impeccable! From the moment we walked in, to our great bartender in which I wish I could remember her name. She was very attentive to everyone who was sitting at the bar. We only came here for drinks so I cannot comment on the food but it looked good & we definitely look forward to coming for brunch that everyone is writing about. Overall, the place is rather large. They have a few bowling lanes, when you're at the bar you wouldn't even notice as you can't hear them or anything. We look forward to trying more of this place. read more

Best place in DC to bowl! We came here for a work party and were able to get the two lanes with 8 people. It was a really nice space with comfy couches and lots of storage room! You also pay by the hour not by the game so you can potentially fit in 2 games per hour if you're quick! Only downside was our one lane kept dropping a pin when it picked up after the first throw. The flat bread pizza's were okay but not great... Overall we had a great time bowling and would go back! read more

I have to commend Pinstripes. I arrived with a group of 17 (!) people without a reservation. As such, I wasn't expecting our entire party to be sat quickly or sat together. I was proven wrong. If you need to bring a big group to Georgetown, this is 100% the place to go!!! Food & Drink: really, really good. I ordered the chicken and goat cheese pasta with fusilli and I honestly wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. I loved my dish and would highly recommend getting this! Others enjoyed their plates as well, and the lobster bisque is apparently great. The only complaint I heard was that the lasagna wasn't a big serving. My boyfriend and I split a bottle of wine which was expensive (as expected) but pretty good. Service: I can't believe how good the service was. For such a huge party, we were given 2 servers. They were very accomodative with splitting checks (we split into 4) and seating us immediately, as I mentioned. We got our food very quickly and the servers were on top of our drinks. I was really impressed with the service. Is it the BEST food in Georgetown? No. If you want good Italian, go to Filomena. But Pinstripes is still pretty good and very affordable, especially considering the neighborhood. I'd absolutely come by again. I'll have to try the bowling next time :) read more

We haven't even gotten the check yet and I had to write a review. I got the burger which was amazing. I do not know what they put in their pickles but OH MY GOD. The fries were perfectly crispy (could've used a liiiiittle more parm but that's okay). I never finish a burger but I'm now a member of the clean plate club. They charge me 2 times called the restaurant it's been a month nobody has called me yet the service was terrible and the waitress was even worst she couldn't even split the check but charged me the whole amount then charged my sister half the check disputed it with the bank just to get issued resolved. We have eaten at this Pinstripes a number of times. While I would normally give it about 2.5 stars, after last nights experience, it has to be 1 star. We signed up for the Pinstripes NYE's experience including an 8 pm balloon drop, sparking cider, and other NYE's activities. No where on the Pinstripes webpage did they exclude any restaurants. My wife called to confirm the reservation and they never mentioned not having the balloon drop. Even if they didn't have the space for the drop, how about having the other NYE elements? Throw on top that there is no street parking anymore near this location and the garage is $22 for 2 hours of parking, it's not worth it IMO. read more

We went here with friends yesterday for some bowling. Our first time here so we didn't know that they served brunch. It was an amazing spread that smelled delicious and definitely next time we will be brunching before bowling. However, I did partake in tasting the spirits at the bar. I had the mimosa ($3 during brunch, woo hoo). It was yummy filled with champagne and not full of OJ. When our lane was available the host walked us over and introduced us to our waiter. The areas are a bit tight with a table in between two couches for the lane sitting area. There was an abundance of bowling balls of all sizes which was good thing and the good functioning lanes were nice. One bit of a downside was the kids party in the lane next to us. Kids were walking/dancing into our lanes, and one kid came over and attempted to take a ball from our carrier. I gave 4 stars for this issue plus the lack of space. read more

The food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either and definitely overpriced. The service was sub-par, maybe because they have so much going on between the games, the bowling and the restaurant. Nobody working there seemed to have clear direction or know what was going on. One waiter even left someone's already eaten food plate on a chair. Yuck! Now for the food: 1) tenderloin sliders: Not cooked too order and came out well done. Flavor wasn't bad but too much bun for the amount of meat. Truffle potato strings were delicious though. I could taste the truffle oil. 2) salmon: I asked for it medium and they did cook it medium. It was decent but not the best meal I've ever had. There were almost too many different elements going on in the dish. 3) short ribs were good. It was a huge portion. Not the best short ribs I've ever had but decent. Come for the food, skip the bowling. The food was excellent, a big step up from what you might find in a bar or something like that. In fact, I'd come back here just for the food and skip the entertainment options. I got the BBQ Bacon Burger, and my only complaint is that it was very greasy - wish they dabbed it with a paper towel if the grease couldn't have drained through an actual grill. But the flavors were excellent, down to the crispy fries and presumably house-made ketchup! The downside was the bowling, which at $20/hour per person isn't super cheap so I expected the lanes to be *at least* in as good of shape as traditional bowling alleys. Alas, our experience was that this facility is very poorly maintained. We arrived and the machine wouldn't lay the pins down, so immediately it had to be serviced cutting 15 minutes into our time. We were there for 2 hours and had to call for service two more times related to the ball return not returning balls. And there were a lot of other quality issues not worth calling service about: the pin setter is clearly defective as it would set 10 new pins down and then one or two of the pins would just fall over immediately. Also, as someone who bowls with spin on the ball, my ball just spun rapidly in place while going straight and never hooking - a sign that the lanes have far too much oil on them. This isn't a big deal for casual bowlers who are just throwing straight but it was annoying to me and likely anyone who bowls above a 100. read more

We stumbled upon this place while shopping in Georgetown. Sat at the bar for some drinks and had a wonderful time. The bar staff was attentive and friendly, and the manager came and checked on us several times. I could tell he really appreciated his customers and wanted to make sure everything was going smoothly for them. We enjoyed our first visit so much that we came back a couple days later for bowling and dinner. I highly recommend doing this. (You'll want to make a reservation.) It's a bit pricey but worth it. The lounge-like seating is comfortable and having a server the entire time for drinks and food makes this much better than your standard bowling night out. The best bowling alley in DC! We came on a Saturday and it was quite crowded, so be sure to make a reservation. The shoes, balls, and lanes were all in top condition. The people in the lane next to us were sharing the rack with us and kept stealing our bowling balls so that was unfortunate (especially as we were trying to reduce germ spread). The system cuts you off right at an hour, so definitely be mindful of the time. We ordered food, but I would recommend getting food before/after bowling so you have time to enjoy it all without feeling rushed. Hope to be back soon! read more

Went for Mother's Day brunch and was not disappoint. The atmosphere is lovely very photogenic. Everything we tried was extremely delicious. Prime rib, omelettes, the mini waffles, the mac & cheese, and the fresh baked cookies all had us going back for thirds and fourths. The only 2 things that we didn't like was the bland ravioli and not knowing about the extra charge for a flavor margarita. My companion was not happy with the unknown charge and the lack of mango flavor in the drink. Emma could have been a bit more attentive but overall she was a delight. One of my friends came across this restaurant on TikTok, as we do many of the new places we try, so naturally we decided to go for brunch! From the outside the restaurant does not look that big, but as you walk inside and head towards the back (where the bowling lanes are) it almost looks like an upscale cave. We unintentionally went on a day when they had a buffet and when I say literally everything I had was *chefs kiss* great! The bottomless mimosas were a necessity as well and they did not disappoint. TikTok also made us aware that you could bring your own speaker and play music at a reasonable level so that was cool too. Our waitress could have been a little more attentive with refilling the drinks, but we still really enjoyed our experience. I came back here to dine in and got to try a variety of their food. The food was so good that I have to upgrade them to 5 stars! I ordered the Chicken and Goat Cheese pasta entree and it wasn't super heavy and the goat cheese wasn't too overpowering. Noodles were cooked perfectly! My friends ordered the Jambalaya, Spaghetti w/ Meatballs and Lasagna. I had a bite of the spaghetti and it was the best spaghetti I had. You can get the spaghetti with either meat sauce or marinara, and my friend had the marinara sauce version. The jambalaya was also good and comes with plenty of protein. This latest visit, I came with a college student group and enjoyed the "party package". It included sliders, dolmathes, chicken skewers, and especially good pita and hummus. I found everything to be of the highest quality. My one complaint: the bowling lane my friends and I were using broke down, and we needed to wait quite a while for the staff to fix it. However, I'm sure small glitches such as this are common at all bowling alleys, and it did not dampen my overall excellent experience. I first thought this was just a restaurant, but then I also saw a bowling alley and other activities at this spot, and realized it was a very popular spot for private and corporate events. I wasn't too sure what to order, so I asked the waitress for her recommendation. I went ahead and ordered the Fettuccini Bolognese and it was delicious. It had beef, pork, lamb, fennel, braised tomato, mascarpone, basilI. I visited this place recently for a Christmas party. The ambiance is great but the parking situation is difficult since it is at downtown Georgetown. For 2 hours, I paid $23. It is also difficult to locate the elevator when I was walking along with my wife and toddler so we ended up walking up the stairs to the venue. Overall, the place is not that toddler friendly as waiters are walking around in different parts of the venue delivering drinks and food. We were served toasted coconut shrimp with sweet sauce, feta cheese and spinach pastry, sandwiches, sliders and drinks. The ambiance is great as they had the place decorated for the holidays. They also had a greenery wall great for photos. They had multiple lanes for bowling and also bocce. I actually prefer the other location at North Bethesda since parking was more easy and the venue was more spacious compared to this one. Nevertheless, I still had a great time. We're from out of town visiting our daughter and decided to visit Pinstripes for Easter Brunch. The location (in Georgetown) is a beautiful area. Before we entered the restaurant, we walked over to the outside eating area that had a little walking bridge into the main town surrounded by beautiful tulips. Great opportunity to take photo's...see pics. The restaurant has a nice lobby area to sit and wait for your guest as well as a bar to the right of the entrance. The main eating area is right behind the hostess counter, separated by a wall, so you're not looking at everyone while their eating. Definitely a nice place to have dinner with friends. What's so special about the place is that they have an inside bowling alley. We didn't experience the bowling but will definitely consider it for next time. On to the food: Their brunch is $40 with all you can drink mimosas. Its $30 w/out. We opted for all you can drink and the servers were great in making sure our glasses were full. Brunch consists of several carving stations with omelets, waffles, prime rib, salads, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. They even had a station with chicken strips, fries along with mac &cheese. Overall the service and food was good. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, especially for those who are visiting. Pinstripes in Georgetown is a phenomenal establishment. I have been to this particular pinstripes numerous times, and every single time I have been I have had a amazing visit. From the food to the staff to the games and overall environment this place is awesome. I really enjoy their bottomless mimosas with Sunday brunch. I had my birthday last year here with approximately 25 gas and pinstripes was able to accommodate all of my guest without any issues. One time I did have a reservation issue and pinstripes truly accommodated me and my guest while waiting for our table to be ready. I've never been for happy hour but I've heard great things. Once Covid it is under control I'm looking forward to visiting again for their brunch and bottomless mimosas. read more
