Staff were friendly and gave us some good suggestions for what to eat and the quantity. It was clean inside and they were playing nice music. The food was excellent. We stopped on the way home from Julian. I love Thai food and this was as good as some of my favorite restaurants where I live.

    Worth the wait. Great food.

The food here is fantastic I meant to do my review a few days back when I went. You can't beat it. Best Thai in Ramona. Price is a bit higher than what you would expect but again it's in Ramona so it's to be expected. Service is great they always are so friendly and smiling. The ambiance works not over the top.

This is a great spot to eat at after hiking Potato Chip Rock! Their lunch special offers such a great deal and I also enjoyed their dessert selection. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and I appreciate that they are very considerate for handicapped customers (at the table and in the restrooms).

I wish I had more photos to share but this is all I took - got too excited to dig in. Let's get to it - firstly, I was hesitant to try this place because I wasn't confident that Ramona would have tasty Thai food, but I was wrong! Don't hate me. Every dish was satisfying, along with their Thai tea. Service was great. 2 servers were on the floor and provided timely service with a room full of about 10 occupied tables.

Re Visited 11/14/2023 As usual this place doesn't Disappoint. Food, Service and Ambience is like being at home with Family. I recommend Most everything on the menu but my favorite is The Pa-Nang Curry with The Large Shrimp. The Chow Mein Noodles with Combo Meat is Excellent also. I Love This Place for Thai Food and do Recommend it. Enjoy

The spice level was just right, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed a small salad and a couple of spring rolls, both served with a tasty vinaigrette in a charming ramekin. The iced tea I ordered came in a large cold glass mug enough to make it through the whole meal without even needing a refill. The serene and delightful music added to the overall experience. The manager's attentive service was exceptional, as they checked in to ensure my complete satisfaction, reminiscent of a top-notch car dealership experience. This level of engagement from the management is commendable, and I look forward to returning soon. I order fried rice dishes at many Thai establishments and usually leave underwhelmed. This one however was a standout. Boldly colored and richly flavored with noticeable wok hei. Important observation: If you happen to order Pinot Grigio when you go, make sure you're getting real wine. I ordered a glass ($12) and noticed it tasted quite off putting. Unusually sweet for a Pinot Grigio and lacking body. I mentioned this and they brought out the bottle to show me. I had to point out the label which was emblazoned with the phrase "Alcohol Removed"! I wound up switching it out for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. Service here is always friendly, genuine and welcoming. Probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in Ramona (inside). Highly recommended.

The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our meal, which made the experience even better. I ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice with chicken at spicy level 2. It was definitely spicy, but so delicious! The flavor was on point, and I kept wanting more. For an appetizer, I ordered the Dinner Appetizer Sampler, which came with crispy veggie rolls, cheesy wontons, potstickers, and tamarind chicken. My favorite was definitely the tamarind chicken. It was super crispy on the outside while still being juicy and tender inside. The potstickers were my second favorite. The sauce complemented them really well and paired nicely with the sweet-and-sour sauce. I also tried the Yellow Curry with chicken. The curry itself had great flavor and paired really well with the Thai Basil Fried Rice. My only personal preference would be for the vegetables to be cooked a little more. They were pretty chunky and took a little longer to chew, but the curry definitely had the flavor! Overall, I had a great experience and left feeling completely satisfied. The food was flavorful, the portions were fulfilling, and the service was great. I'm already looking forward to trying more dishes. I would definitely recommend this place to family and friends. It would also be a great spot for a casual date!

Pailin Thai is in a shopping center that absolutely gets bonkers during busy hours, mostly because of the obnoxiously skinny parking spaces and the incredibly large cars trying to cram their way into them. We ordered our lunchtime meal online, taking advantage of their lunch combo specials. I got the See-Eyew Noodles with chicken ($13.95) and my husband got the Spicy Noodles with pork ($13.95). Because these were the lunch combos, each meal also came with a small serving of the soup of the day, a small salad, an egg roll and a fried wonton. The menu said you're also supposed to get steamed rice, but we did not. I'd rank the items in my lunch combo this way: the soup (not sure what kind it was, but it was coconutty and citrusy and there wasn't enough of it, in my opinion); the fried wonton; the salad; the noodles; the egg roll. Not that I didn't enjoy the noodles, they were just not the best I've had (and those who know me know that Pad See Ew noodles are my go-to Thai entree.) These noodles were lighter - in color and flavor - than I prefer, and too sticky to easily shove in my face with a plastic fork. The flavor was okay, if a little lacking. My husband's meal was supposed to be spicy noodles, but the container was labeled "Drunken Noodles", which I'm pretty sure is a different dish. But, he ate it all up and said he enjoyed everything about it. Though he did say the serving size was smaller than expected (I reminded him it was a lunch combo, not a full entree, and for what we paid, it was a good deal. I think he agreed haha.) I'd be willing to give them another try, because I love Thai meals and we seem to be lacking in good Thai restaurants anymore.

Thai Ladle in Poway is tucked into a strip mall that's currently under some parking lot construction, which makes finding a spot a bit tricky. With all the nearby kid activities( like dance studios, kiddie gyms, and such) parking probably depends a lot on the time of day. Inside, the restaurant is small and appears clean, and the atmosphere is pleasant enough. The biggest disappointment is that they don't have a liquor license. No beer, wine, or sake, which would have totally turned me away if I figured it out a little faster. What can I say, a girl needs a Chardonnay sometimes. The food itself was good & reasonably priced ,, but not especially memorable. Basically, solid Thai food, but nothing that stands out. Service was friendly, but very slow. Like, very, very slow. We had to flag our server down each time we needed anything, and since we were the only customers, it was hard to understand why. That said, she was very nice and welcoming. One more downside: flies. The door wasn't propped open, yet there werea few of them buzzing around that we ended up covering our dishes with napkins toward the end of the meal.
