Staff were friendly and gave us some good suggestions for what to eat and the quantity. It was clean inside and they were playing nice music. The food was excellent. We stopped on the way home from Julian. I love Thai food and this was as good as some of my favorite restaurants where I live.

    Worth the wait. Great food.

The food here is fantastic I meant to do my review a few days back when I went. You can't beat it. Best Thai in Ramona. Price is a bit higher than what you would expect but again it's in Ramona so it's to be expected. Service is great they always are so friendly and smiling. The ambiance works not over the top.

This is a great spot to eat at after hiking Potato Chip Rock! Their lunch special offers such a great deal and I also enjoyed their dessert selection. This restaurant has a nice ambiance and I appreciate that they are very considerate for handicapped customers (at the table and in the restrooms).

I wish I had more photos to share but this is all I took - got too excited to dig in. Let's get to it - firstly, I was hesitant to try this place because I wasn't confident that Ramona would have tasty Thai food, but I was wrong! Don't hate me. Every dish was satisfying, along with their Thai tea. Service was great. 2 servers were on the floor and provided timely service with a room full of about 10 occupied tables.

Re Visited 11/14/2023 As usual this place doesn't Disappoint. Food, Service and Ambience is like being at home with Family. I recommend Most everything on the menu but my favorite is The Pa-Nang Curry with The Large Shrimp. The Chow Mein Noodles with Combo Meat is Excellent also. I Love This Place for Thai Food and do Recommend it. Enjoy

I love love love Thai food.. I even look for it when I'm traveling in other countries.. I have to say this place is a hidden gem in Ramona! Inside is cozy + cute. Food came out fast and service was good. Ok the RED CURRY is some of the best I have ever had!! My husband tried it and kept taking bites of my dinner and he usually hates curry!! He got the pad Thai chicken and loved the flavor.

The spice level was just right, and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I also enjoyed a small salad and a couple of spring rolls, both served with a tasty vinaigrette in a charming ramekin. The manager's attentive service was exceptional, as they checked in to ensure my complete satisfaction, reminiscent of a top-notch car dealership experience. I order fried rice dishes at many Thai establishments and usually leave underwhelmed. This one however was a standout. Boldly colored and richly flavored with noticeable wok hei. Important observation: If you happen to order Pinot Grigio when you go, make sure you're getting real wine. I ordered a glass ($12) and noticed it tasted quite off putting. Unusually sweet for a Pinot Grigio and lacking body. I mentioned this and they brought out the bottle to show me. I had to point out the label which was emblazoned with the phrase "Alcohol Removed"! I wound up switching it out for a glass of Sauvignon Blanc which was excellent. Service here is always friendly, genuine and welcoming. Probably one of the most beautiful restaurants in Ramona (inside). Highly recommended.

The restaurant itself is spacious, and there's a nice wooden bench inside where you can comfortably sit and wait for your food. I ordered the Thai Basil Fried Rice and the Se Eu both with chicken. My order was hot and ready right on time. I was impressed that it stayed fresh and piping hot even after I got home. The standout of the meal was definitely the Thai Basil Fried Rice. It was incredibly flavorful, with perfectly cooked, juicy chicken that wasn't dry at all. The seasoning was well-balanced and the squeeze of lime added a delicious savory and tangy finish. The Se Eu was okay with the vegetables being crunchy. The noodles tasted a bit bland. I think next time I'd probably ask for a bit more seasoning and maybe more spicier to give it an extra kick. Overall, it was a satisfying meal that really hit the spot. I look forward to dining in and trying more items from the menu. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

Pailin Thai is in a shopping center that absolutely gets bonkers during busy hours, mostly because of the obnoxiously skinny parking spaces and the incredibly large cars trying to cram their way into them. We ordered our lunchtime meal online, taking advantage of their lunch combo specials. I got the See-Eyew Noodles with chicken ($13.95) and my husband got the Spicy Noodles with pork ($13.95). Because these were the lunch combos, each meal also came with a small serving of the soup of the day, a small salad, an egg roll and a fried wonton. The menu said you're also supposed to get steamed rice, but we did not. I'd rank the items in my lunch combo this way: the soup (not sure what kind it was, but it was coconutty and citrusy and there wasn't enough of it, in my opinion); the fried wonton; the salad; the noodles; the egg roll. Not that I didn't enjoy the noodles, they were just not the best I've had (and those who know me know that Pad See Ew noodles are my go-to Thai entree.) These noodles were lighter - in color and flavor - than I prefer, and too sticky to easily shove in my face with a plastic fork. The flavor was okay, if a little lacking. My husband's meal was supposed to be spicy noodles, but the container was labeled "Drunken Noodles", which I'm pretty sure is a different dish. But, he ate it all up and said he enjoyed everything about it. Though he did say the serving size was smaller than expected (I reminded him it was a lunch combo, not a full entree, and for what we paid, it was a good deal. I think he agreed haha.) I'd be willing to give them another try, because I love Thai meals and we seem to be lacking in good Thai restaurants anymore.
