    Shrimp Pad Thai is amazing!

Ordered tofu and chicken satay. I was disappointed with the satay. Boring and hard. The tofu was soft but isn't appetizing. I am not getting this items again.

It's been a few years...many of my coworkers and I would frequent this restaurant several times a month for their lunch specials. And we always left satisfied! Strolled in for dinner with my lady and I'm happy to report that the food is every bit as delicious as it was in my memories. We ordered: - Spicy eggplant with chicken: it was delicious and our favorite of the evening - Basil Pad Ga Prow with beef: it featured crispy green beans and flavored ground beef but disappointingly had hardly any basil and basil flavors so it was our least favorite entree - Pan fried noodles with shrimp: wonderfully balanced flavors; our second favorite entree of the evening - mango sticky rice: fresh mango slices paired with sweet sticky rice; It was prepared well but I'm simply not a fan of this dish because it's strictly similar to Filipino suman drenched in evaporated milk Overall, it was a great return visit. Service was prompt, friendly and attentive. Looking forward to returning soon. Cheers!

Yellow Curry, Thai Chicken Grill, Drunken Noodles, Tiger Cry

Takhrai Thai has my favorite drunken noodles in all of San Diego! It's a staple for me, but this time I was really excited to try some new dishes as well. The yellow curry and the sauce that came with the Tiger Cry steak were highlights for me. Both so savory with a nice kick of spice.

Gosh- What a great take out experience today! I ordered the green curry with chicken and the drunken noodles. The green curry was perfectly spiced, and it had grilled egg plant in it! Delicious! The bamboo shoots were great too- fabulous. The drunken noodles were addicting good- will definitely be back! Great service and I forgot to mention pricing was great too! Easy on your wallet but not on the pallet :)

The food was amazing of Duck and chicken pad Thai noodle and cream cheese wontons but just the lad nah was not good taste. It was less salt. Didn't like it at all. Service was great and Ambiance was beautiful and clean.

The ambiance and food is outstanding! This is always my go to for Thai food no matter where I am. All the guests I've brought here have returned as well. Parking and location is also a plus, in addition to all the amazing savory dishes, the sweet sticky rice with mango is a satisfying dessert. Stop by and enjoy this gem. You won't be disappointed!

Came here around 7:30pm on a Sunday night and it was DEAD EMPTY. The staff honestly looked at us like we were crazy when we asked to eat in. It was just 2 of us the entire time. We got some cream cheese wontons and chicken pad Thai. Overall, the food was the highlight. Very flavorful but definitely overpriced. We wanted some peanut sauce and they charged us $1 for the tiniest cup ever! The inside looks like the typical Thai restaurant you would expect and is surely big enough for a lot of people Save yourself the trip and just order takeout, it's awkward inside...

I tried their shrimp pad thai. So good

One of the best pad thai. Service was fast. The ambience was really Thai, very nice and clean

    Curry tofu is decent

Came here for a late lunch. Ordered the boat noodle. Service was okay, nothing good or bad about it. The other 2 in my group Ordered curry tofu and sweat sour chicken. Those were decent, but the boat noodle is way off. Tasted like soy sauce soup. Lacked flavor. The decor is typical of many Thai restaurants. It has outside seating.

Pailin Thai is in a shopping center that absolutely gets bonkers during busy hours, mostly because of the obnoxiously skinny parking spaces and the incredibly large cars trying to cram their way into them. We ordered our lunchtime meal online, taking advantage of their lunch combo specials. I got the See-Eyew Noodles with chicken ($13.95) and my husband got the Spicy Noodles with pork ($13.95). Because these were the lunch combos, each meal also came with a small serving of the soup of the day, a small salad, an egg roll and a fried wonton. The menu said you're also supposed to get steamed rice, but we did not. I'd rank the items in my lunch combo this way: the soup (not sure what kind it was, but it was coconutty and citrusy and there wasn't enough of it, in my opinion); the fried wonton; the salad; the noodles; the egg roll. Not that I didn't enjoy the noodles, they were just not the best I've had (and those who know me know that Pad See Ew noodles are my go-to Thai entree.) These noodles were lighter - in color and flavor - than I prefer, and too sticky to easily shove in my face with a plastic fork. The flavor was okay, if a little lacking. My husband's meal was supposed to be spicy noodles, but the container was labeled "Drunken Noodles", which I'm pretty sure is a different dish. But, he ate it all up and said he enjoyed everything about it. Though he did say the serving size was smaller than expected (I reminded him it was a lunch combo, not a full entree, and for what we paid, it was a good deal. I think he agreed haha.) I'd be willing to give them another try, because I love Thai meals and we seem to be lacking in good Thai restaurants anymore.

You can really tell the dumpling wrappers (for dumplings, xiao long bao, and wontons) are handmade. They're more springy and al dente and beautifully wrapped. We ordered a ton of food and everything was really tasty I didn't react fast enough with photos. Xiao long bao are a MUST - and you gotta enjoy it with the vinegar and ginger! The cucumber salad is WAY better than ding tai fung's in both taste, texture, and portion! Chili oil wontons were big and deliciously fragrant, not spicy. Pan fried pork buns were crispy on the bottom with a soft and pillowy bread and juicy meat filling. We also got the combination fried rice which was beautifully golden eggy and full of meat & shrimp. The green beans were flavorful and not overly oily. Fried chicken wings were one of my favorites! Last but not least we also ordered the chonqing spicy chicken - not too spicy, full of numbing peppercorn goodness, fried lightly and very criispy. The restaurant is well decorated and clean, very spacious and good for groups. There's a cute gazebo table right at the front too. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. .
