Have been here multiple times. Every time it is delicious. The workers are friendly, the place is quiet. I also really enjoy the boba.

Poke Oka bowls for dinner tonight ... So yummy!

We just had the Poke Oka experience a couple days ago. And it was a great one! Not sure how much food we would get, my husband made a couple side dishes at home while I went into town . WOW! The poke bowls were of a generous size and the fresh was super fresh - lots of interesting toppings, all very fresh as well. And the owner, Yvett, is super nice. I can't really recommend anything in particular because we sampled just about everything, and it was all good. I asked for a 2-protein & 3-protein bowl to try all proteins they had at the time - and with a mixture of toppings. I remember seaweed salad, cucumber, carrots, edamame. One with brown rice, one with white rice. Everything was delicious!

A few notes for todays online order. I decided to try the Oka Wrap with tofu. I specifically asked in the notes "no mayo or animal sauces", other sauces on side". On "menufy" when I picked up the order the wrap didn't have any sauces on side. I ask gal where was the sauce? She said "eel sauce on the wrap". Got a refund for that. They didn't even read the notes. Disappointed. 2 stars for miso soup.

I already saw this place for a long time and this week just had a chance to take a visit. I ordered 2 poke bowl with rice as a base (2 protein & 1 protein), pick as much as i want for the variations of veggies so does the sauce for your poké bowl. The worker is so friendly, they gonna help you if you need any favors for your order. Definitely gonna back soon. P.s: they have a good and fresh seaweed salad!

Extremely hit or miss with this establishment. Unfortunately, it's the only poke place in Ramona and, as such, I've eaten here several times. The experiences have been good, bad, and everything in between. One of the times we ordered online, we received a call informing us that all of our protein choices were out of stock and that they only had three of their usually extensive list to choose from. While this caused a bit of difficulty, the staff were very friendly and remedied the situation satisfactorily. Another time we ordered, we received the correct ingredients in the bowl, except there was no sauce; just dry ingredients. On another occasion, the fish didn't seem as fresh as it usually does. We trusted--against our better judgment--the standards of the restaurant, however both my partner and I wound up with a stomach ache. These bad experiences are sandwiched with very positive ones, so it's hard to say for sure what you'll get on any given day. Today was another sub-par experience. The picture shown is of a bowl ordered with not only the regular helping of avocado, but also the paid "extra avocado" option. Two little strips of avocado hardly seems like "avocado + extra avocado," especially when there's an upcharge for it. My partner's bowl had absolutely no avocado in it, despite ordering the regular helping. In addition, while the takeout bowls are usually bursting at the seams with food, this time both bowls were filled to just below the lip. Luckily, the food tasted fresh today (as it usually does) but the experience again added to the hit or miss nature of this establishment. Management, if you're reading this review: please train whoever was working today to follow order instructions accurately. Every ingredient ordered should make it into the bowl, and I feel particularly slightly that I paid extra for a double portion of something that I barely got any of. Potential patrons: it's usually tasty; your choice to take the gamble or not.

The food tasted great!!! Even the hair I found in my food was oh so tasty. Not to mention they give half the portions than any other poke place I have been and just fill the bowl with twice the rice...... you want good poke. Take the drive to PB and get Poke Chop, best place in SD!!!

Fresh Poke Bowls in Ramona isn't something I thought I'd live to taste. Delicious, fresh and reasonable. Give them a try and be sure to add a few of the Taiyaki Waffles for a treat (2 won't be enough)!

    Poke Oka Bowl -3Protein

I ordered a 3 protein pokè bowl a couple of miso soups, delivered by DD. The miso soup was delicious and had plenty of tofu. A bargain at $2.50 a bowl for about 8 ounces. However the pokè bowl was a different story all together. The salmon was cooked all the way through and both the salmon and ahi tuna were chewy, grainy and salty. Not fresh and definitely frozen prior to being defrosted. The white rice was also chewy, dry and not edible. Maybe I'll return for soup and specialty drinks, but anything protein related will be avoided going forward.

    Celine S.

got the spicy tuna and salmon hand rolls to go and they were amazing :D the tuna and salmon were super fresh, and the veggies were perfectly crisp. Meat to veggie ratio was great, and the taste was balanced and delicious. I also LOVED the wasabi mayo, it was perfect and had the great kick you want from wasabi with the creaminess and spreadability of a mayo. I will definitely be coming back!

We ordered a ton of food and everything was really tasty I didn't react fast enough with photos. Xiao long bao are a MUST - and you gotta enjoy it with the vinegar and ginger! The cucumber salad is WAY better than ding tai fung's in both taste, texture, and portion! Chili oil wontons were big and deliciously fragrant, not spicy. Pan fried pork buns were crispy on the bottom with a soft and pillowy bread and juicy meat filling. We also got the combination fried rice which was beautifully golden eggy and full of meat & shrimp. The green beans were flavorful and not overly oily. Fried chicken wings were one of my favorites! Last but not least we also ordered the chonqing spicy chicken - not too spicy, full of numbing peppercorn goodness, fried lightly and very criispy. The restaurant is well decorated and clean, very spacious and good for groups. There's a cute gazebo table right at the front too. Plenty of parking in the plaza lot. . One of my favorite things about this place is how easy it is. You order on the kiosk, grab a seat, and your food usually comes out within like 10-15 minutes. The inside has a lot of seating and even games like Jenga which makes it feel like a fun spot to hang out for lunch. I didn't interact much with service since I used the kiosk, but the worker upfront was really friendly and even brought my takeout to my table. This time I tried the Dynamite Crawfish Bowl and the Dynamite Fries. The bowl comes with crawfish, rice, dynamite sauce, eel sauce, seaweed, sesame seeds, and pickled radish on top. The fries normally come with sweet potato fries but I swapped mine for regular fries because I just wasn't feeling sweet potato that day. The fries were honestly kind of underwhelming. It was basically fries with dynamite sauce and only a few pieces of garlic confit, which was the part I was most excited for. They weren't bad, just really underwhelming. I honestly think the sweet potato fries probably would've worked better with the flavors. The crawfish bowl though was really good. The crawfish had this slight smoky flavor to it like it was lightly torched and they give you a lot in each bite. The rice was fluffy and cooked perfectly and the pickled radish on top helped cut through all the richness from the sauces. Everything worked really well together flavor wise. My only complaint is that halfway through the bowl the flavors started blending together a little too much and it gets boring, but overall it was still super satisfying and filling. Definitely still one of my favorite quick lunch spots in Carmel Mountain and somewhere I'd bring friends because the menu has so many good options. If you want plain rice, it's an extra $2 per serving. Also fried rice for $14 with no meat? This is a very high profit margin. - the vegetables in our dishes were quite mushy like they were steamed and then sautéed again for the order. I prefer our vegetables to be fresh and crunchy.
