Seared Rare Sushi Grade Tuna Maine Lobster Ravioli
    Laurie P.

Always wanted to try Pisces and finally we did! We visited May 5th, 2023. The building is small, but the dining area was comfortable. We had a cozy table for two. James was our server and took good care of us. We started with the little necks. So tasty! My husband had the tuna and I had the lobster ravioli. We cleaned our plates. Since we just came back from Key West, we had to try the Key lime pie; it did not disappoint! Looking forward to our next visit.

Are you freaking kidding me? The garlic butter clams are one of the best things I've ever eaten. The beet salad was cool and refreshing and the Mediterranean seafood stew was the hit by of the night! I've been coming here since they opened and while it is not "cheap eats", it IS spectacular fine dining in a tastefully decorated space. Their drink list is outstanding and they have a wide range of wines. Save room for dessert, have the tres leches cake, just do it. Have I ever lied to you? The best restaurant on the Cape!

Another year another great dinner. We were greeted by friendly valet and a waitress with energy and a great memory. The complimentary bean dip was fabulous. The fisherman's stew was to die for- highly recommend. The special of flounder really good, as was the lobster ravioli. Final note- make a reservation and come for a delicious dinner!

Fresh Maine Lobster and Corn Chowder

I have been very fortunate in my life to try some of the finest food this world has to offer. I've eaten paella in Barcelona, I've eaten gnocchi in Florence, hell I grew up 45 minutes away from Reginas. When I tell you that I just had one of the greatest meals of my life, I promise you it is not in jest or coming from an uninformed place. Pisces is without a doubt, one of the best restaurants on this planet. From start to finish I was blown away. Lobster and corn chowder left us all speechless. The grilled Spanish octopus melted in my mouth like butter. And the Lobster Bolognese... I mean, I might never eat lobster again. I honestly might allow that to be the memory of lobster that I die having. It tasted like the Chef had been working on a lobster stock for 6 months and used 1,000 lobsters just for the flavor. Literally to die for. Ohh and a tres leches cake that would knock anyone on there ass. If you find yourself down the cape and you're looking for something to remember for ever, head down to Pisces and give yourself a treat. You deserve it.

We have had another great dinner at PISCES. It is a great restaurant for both food and service.

Came in for a drink. Ordered the sangria which tasted quite watered down. The bar tender was not very personable.

She says Spinnaker has the best bolognese she has ever had. Which, the menu states it is cooked for an extensive amount of time, which probably adds the depth of flavor. I recall my dish being very good as well. We started with a salad although we did not take a photo.

We started with two glasses of Belcanto Rosé Prosecco and the crispy Brussels sprouts tossed with Greek feta, sesame seeds, and a touch of pomegranate molasses. We ordered a smooth bottle of Barolo and shared the salad of roasted, marinated beets; local Great Hill blue cheese; toasted pecans; pickled shallots; artisanal lettuces; crispy prosciutto bits; and a touch of lemon juice and EVOO. We shared two entrées: the exotic mushroom mélange of porcini, shiitake, and oyster mushrooms with roasted squash tossed with handmade fresh tagliatelle, topped with arugula, soft stracciatella, and a dash of Parmigiano; and the day-boat seafood catch of clams, codfish, and shrimp with homemade spaghetti in garlic, tomatoes, and white wine. For dessert, we shared the salted caramel brioche bread pudding--warm and sweet--with a generous scoop of decadent vanilla gelato. Everything was just about perfect in seasoning, texture, and flavor. The service was friendly, professional, and attentive. We all should be eating here more often, I think. And yes, we know it's for sale.

We have been to Pates several times in the past…read more The menu shared many items with what had been on the Ocean House menu before Anthony Silvestri left to join Pates. Pates has a nice ambiance- dining is in 3 rooms plus there is a separate bar area. The food is consistently good and well prepared. My scallops were amazing. The wedge salad and Thai chicken dumplings were a great start. And the pan seared salmon and pan seared swordfish were also very tasty with interesting sides. But, the baked stuffed shrimp was only okay, as the orange-citrus sweet sauce was overpowering and off-putting and the forbidden rice was inedible. My friend's pork chop was way overcooked and dry. The service was a big detractor. Our waitress barely engaged with our table of four. She arrived with our main course and noticed all the appetizer plates hadn't been cleared and set our hot dinners on a tray stand while she removed empty plates. Awkward! She never checked on our dinners, and when we were almost finished, she returned to ask if we wanted more wine or another cocktail. Too late! It's unfortunate as some of the food was really good, but at $100/person (with tip), I'd expect better.
