There were several groups of people eating inside, talking, and having a great time. It was a good vibe. It wasn't too loud, but it was definitely not quiet. - In terms of the food, we ordered the avocado jalapeno hummus, which was very good. We both liked that a lot. - My husband ordered the spicy creamy chicken, and he did not like that. He felt that the creaminess was too milky for him and that it just tasted like he was eating too much dairy, which really sounds like kind of a personal preference rather than something being wrong with the meal. He was not a fan of the cream sauce. He felt like he was just dipping his chicken in spicy milk, and he was not a fan. - He also was not a fan of the baba ganoush, but I think he just doesn't like baba ganoush because when I tasted it, it was actually very good. - As far as my food, I got the cauliflower for an appetizer, which was delicious. It came with three sauces: tahini, garlic sauce, and some sort of green, spicy-ish sauce. The cauliflower was flash-fried with no batter, and it was really good with the garlic sauce and the lemon juice. - I also had the salmon kebab wrap with fries, and I felt that it was a delicious wrap. I loved the portion size, so it wasn't too much food, but also not too little food. I thought things were good, and I thought the experience was good. The food is good, though it is a pricey menu and the service is terrible. I waited in here for over thirty minutes for....wait for it....a beef Shawarma wrap and French fries. It was a Thursday night and there were three other parties eating food here. They all had their food though, and yet the owner (who was definitely not thrilled that I hadn't tipped, on a pick-up order) seemed much more focused on his Uber Eats and DoorDash orders than someone waiting in-person for their food. Don't come in if you're ordering food to-go. It isn't quick. The owner will probably respond with some BS about the food being fresh and requiring more time to prepare it but it's just because he only cares about the people eating inside. The owner is a LOSER who treats his customers who are picking up food as lesser people and barely acknowledges them. The food is NOT good enough to be treated like shit. Just because the owner is depressed that nobody comes to his store doesn't mean he should take it out on the take-out customers. DO NOT COME HERE. owner is a cancer on the restaurant itself. I would be extremely cautious ordering from Pita House after my experience. I spoke directly with the so called manager, Laura, when I canceled my catering order before they even began making it because of a wrong date within minutes after placing the order in uber eats. She told me she would cancel it in their system and that she would take care of it. Despite that assurance, I was still charged for an order I canceled and NEVER received. I'm not talking about one plate of food for one person. I'm talking about this bad business charging me $470 twice! They know nothing was lost on their end and made a point to make a large amount of money off of me for good never received. Laura even took the time on the phone to give me instructions how to properly place another catering order for the right day/the next day and pay separately for the food I actually received. When I later tried to get the original charge resolved, instead of simply fixing the situation, my number was blocked after one phone call that was respectful and fact driven. What bothers me most is that I didn't just assume my cancellation went through, I specifically spoke with the manager and was assured she was handling it. Yet I was still charged for food I never received, and my attempts to resolve it went nowhere. The entire situation and the way it was handled felt incredibly shady to me. Food is overpriced and inconsistent. I came yesterday and spent $65 on two plates, a side of falafels, and a side of fries. My husband got the gyro plate with Greek salad and roasted vegetables and I got the falafel plate with the same sides. The falafels are really dry, and they skimp out on the rice. My plate had barely any rice, yet they gave my husband so much. My husbands Greek salad looked like it was made from leftovers--there was a piece of pita bread at the bottom of the salad and a burnt piece of chicken? My salad didn't have that. But it's also weird because he didn't order chicken. So it's a little concerning to see remnants of food on your plate that you didn't order. The pita bread is also very dry, and their hummus has an off taste to it. I also asked the lady for 3 tzatziki sauce and 1 tahini to help with the dryness of the falafel but she only gave me 2 tzatziki. This was a to go order so it stinks when you get home and not everything you asked for is in the bag. We love trying halal restaurants, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Mega Feast, which is listed for 4-6 people. Honestly, it was way more than enough food for six people! Luckily, that meant lots of leftovers for the next few days. The feast came with beef and onion sambusa, chicken, cheese roll, beef kebab, chicken and beef shawarma, baba ganoush, hummus, fattoush salad, rice, fresh pita, garlic sauce, and tzatziki sauce. For a last minute choice at 10pm, I was shocked at the high value meal for such a reasonable price. The restaurant had good pop music playing, the decor inside is beautiful with a silky blue paint job inside, and the lighting fixtures were beautiful. It's obvious they take the ambience seriously. Reda, the man working the front, was incredibly kind and seemed to be in a really good mood. Honestly, his presence just made the entire experience even better. I noticed he was also kind and positive with other customers as well. And to end the meal I had baklava, which was the perfect way to end the meal. My first time here so here it goes: I was Greeted at the front door immediately once I waled in, I was brought a glass of refreshing g ice cold water without being asked which shows great customer service. The food was so delicious and also for all the Gyro lovers, it's actually served with the real Greek bread. The fries wasn't for me though. At first it was great while hot but once it got cold it was hard as a rock. But it's to fault of the pita house staff as it's a manufacture thing. I would most definitely recommend this place to all. Ive eaten here at least 6 times since my last review and it has been flavorful with stellar service. Ive always ordered the chicken kabob and it never disappoints. This time was the combo plate. So, I got lemon chicken (garlic powder) and our server told me that the rice had garlic so I ordered a bit differently. This time I got a Caesar salad, lentil soup (she said that has garlic too), and a Greek salad. Next time I will get a regular salad and maybe Caesar as the Greek salad had green and red peppers on them. Still had a good meal but she did say they use garlic in almost everything besides the salads so it leaves me a bit hypervigilant. BF got the gyro plate and loved it.
