Happy Diners!
Anne P.

This place is the Gold Standard for Mediterranean food. We had the Turkish Sandwich with Chicken! It was amazing! Fresh, vibrant and Tasty!!! The guys who run it are wonderful and even gave me some pieces of their fabulous chicken for my pup. The Baklava is homemade and the best I have ever tried. Love this stand and will definitely be making it a regular stop. Something different for a delicious meal. Lunch or dinner or Anything

Great Turkish doner and very friendly service. Visited Turkey last year and missed the great food. Was very excited to see their stand by me in Venice! I'll be coming back.

The guys at Lucky Chick embody the perfect startup and street food option for LA. They bring together several options for shawarma but also beef and chicken sandwiches that are delivered quickly and well. I was greeted with a kind smile and told about all the options they had for the day, settling for a beef sandwich and not knowing what to expect. I was offered a Turkish hot tea while I waited, which really settled my stomach and allowed me to pause instead of being in the constant hurry that I often am in. I think what was nice was that not only was the sandwich delicious, but that it was served up piping hot with fresh veggies, onion, parsley, jalapeño, and in a thick bread making it well worth the $15. These guys made it to order and with care, and so the quality among the street atmosphere made it higher than what I've come to expect. While there are other stands in the nearby area, I personally would come here again and try them out for their other dishes. It was simply delicious and a great way to support a small business!

My review to you my love…read more United Bowl Nation in Marina del Rey is truly a one-of-a-kind Mediterranean gem -- a place that touches your heart as much as your palate. From the moment you walk in, you feel it: every single staff member, including the wonderful owner Orcun, pours their heart and soul into creating a truly special experience. The warmth, sincerity, and care are felt instantly. The service is simply outstanding -- attentive, professional, and incredibly kind. You are never just a customer here; you are a welcomed guest. Their knowledge of wine is remarkable. The team guides you through their beautiful wine selection with such passion and detail, it feels like being introduced to wine by true gourmet connoisseurs. And the food... out of this world. I adore Mediterranean cuisine, but this place takes it to another level. This is Mediterranean heaven. Every dish is a perfect harmony of taste, presentation, and soul. It's not just food -- it's art. Each plate feels thoughtfully designed, deeply flavorful, and made with love. United Bowl Nation is more than a restaurant -- it's an experience. A rare place where excellence, heart, and authenticity come together beautifully. I cannot recommend it enough. Thank you, Orcun, for reminding us that when food is made with love and served with heart, it becomes unforgettable. This place is a gift. And thank you UBN Team, your passion, kindness, and artistry are felt in every detail. BRAVO

Really wanted to love this place based on the reviews, but unfortunately a lot was left to be…read moredesired. We came in during Happy Hour and ordered the Beef Cigar Rolls ($18.50), the Slow Roasted Beet Salad ($24.95), and a glass of red wine ($15.50). Those three items alone came out to $67 after tax, which made the rest of the experience even more disappointing. The woman at the front did not honor the Happy Hour price on the Beef Cigar Rolls, even though their sign clearly says Happy Hour is from 5-7pm, Wednesday through Sunday. The Beef Cigar Rolls themselves were just okay. The yogurt mint sauce was good, but the "wagyu" filling was fairly dry when you tasted it on its own. The Slow Roasted Beet Salad was especially disappointing for the $25 price. It was mostly a large pile of lettuce with dressing, raw cuts of cauliflower (not cauliflower rice as mentioned), and only a few beets -- with no carrots, even though they're listed on the menu. Another confusing part was the menus. They seem to have three different versions -- the website, the framed menu at the restaurant, and the printed paper menus -- and they don't match. Some Happy Hour items aren't listed on any menus, just the outdoor sign, and some items on the website aren't on the printed menu. Overall, maybe it was just an off day, but between the service and the food quality not matching the price, I wouldn't come back.

Walking into this very well kept market I suddenly felt the urge to buy all items in sight. There…read moreare flowers for sale, juices, food items and all the best things a market can offer. Met with a warm greeting from staff I feel already inclined to come back sooner rather than later. I met a friend for sandwich, I enjoyed the Reuben and I am blown away. All of my tastebuds danced at the first bite. You fill out a sheet that is left near the counter by the menu's to either build your own or select one of the signature dishes. Note, they do also have Halal options which is a HUGE plus! Their Deli menu is meant to be enjoyed by all, handful of vegetarian options as well. I'd recommend extra toasted love to any sandwich or panini as it is an option on the sheet you fill out. Stepping into the back patio lounge area, there are many tables and seating places to choose from. Theres almost a sense of peace and serenity you experience while in the patio. Theres koi fish, shaded areas and a very cool pizza station! Plenty of seating, I noticed there was a late morning rush but there was still plenty of room for all to sit and enjoy the summer weather. My only side note that may deter people wanting to visit, parking may be hard to find given that this Market place is splat in the middle of a residential part of Culver City. There is a park a few blocks over from the market, grab your food and drinks and enjoy that open space as well if you're introverted but would still like to experience what Jackson Market has to offer.

You mark up an order sheet and give it back to counter help to place an order meanwhile there's picnic foods refrigerated like salads and other condiments complete your meal. Definitely the kind of neighborhood market that is conveniently placed.
