Wow! Z Garden was AMAZING! I ordered on Uber Eats & they had a BOGO on the chicken kebab plate. It was incredible - the salad, the rice, the hummus, the slab of garlic sauce (YUM) and the spicy kick of the pepper! PERFECTION. This is now going to be my go to Friday meal. Doesn't disappoint! So delicious!

Nasir took such great care of us! I came here with my mom and we had a great time eating together. We were both impressed with the falafel and how comfortable the chairs were. Definitely coming back!

I ordered lunch from here during the week and it was okay. I ordered via Yelp because their website was confusing. There were items without descriptions and I couldn't even apply the promo code to my order when I signed-up for the newsletter. Picking up my order was pretty easy as my food was ready by my assigned time. They have a small parking lot in a plaza shared with other businesses. When I visited, it was full so I parked at the nearby Rite Aid parking lot which was free and had ample spaces. Inside the restaurant, the interior seemed pretty clean and spacious. My takeout order was concealed in a plastic container which was placed in a brown paper bag and was stapled. It also came with a plastic cutlery set. I ordered the chicken shawarma pita wrap with the side salad. The wrap itself was good, but the portion was really small. The chicken meat was flavorful, but a bit dry. I did get a dab of garlic sauce which was nice, but wish they gave me more to cover the wrap. The side salad was solid though. The veggies were fresh, crisp, and seasoned well. I liked how the carrots were sweet. However, all of this was around $19 which I would not spend for this again. Overall, a decent experience here. I would opt for other Middle Eastern/Mediterranean spots that are cheaper and give you larger portions.

I had a craving for Mediterranean food so I ordered from Z Garden. I had the Chicken Kabob plate and it was great. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. Also the Salad and Hummus was very good. Nice big portion and I was very satisfied.

Having recently moved to the area, I couldn't help but notice the incredible aromas coming from this restaurant every time I passed by. Finally, I decided it was time to experience it for myself, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, Nasser at the front counter was incredibly welcoming and provided us with fantastic recommendations. The menu was extensive as well as the selection of bottled drinks to choose from. I opted for the lamb shank, which was served with rice, hummus, and salad. It was so tender you could cut it with just a fork! The flavors were perfectly spiced. My boyfriend chose the combo kebab plate, featuring three - chicken, steak, and kafta. He cleared his plate before I was even done half of mine. The service was exceptional, and we loved the authentic music playing out on the patio. The entire atmosphere makes for great vibes while dining. As full as we were, Nasser indulged us in some baklava for dessert, which was the perfect sweet ending to a fantastic meal! We can't wait to return and try more of the menu. Highly recommend this place!

I don't consider myself a connoisseur in mediterranean food, but this was absolutely delightful. My taste buds were jumping for joy! The beef steak kebab plate was amazing, so many different flavors, I loved it. The staff was very friendly, I came in at an odd hour so it wasn't extremely busy. The space is inviting and comfortable, with some outside seating as well! Overall it was a wonderful experience, and I will be coming back again.

Been a few years since I've been here for my Meetup group dinners. Still friendly service and tasty dishes. The lamb shank was very soft although a little fatty.

    Fantastic Food !

Very fresh and delicious food. Must visit for Mediterranean food cravings! The service was excellent too!

Combo kebab and chicken shawarma were incredible. The meats fell on the stick. They were so juicy and tender. Service was on point and the restaurant was so cute. Definitely my new go-to for Mediterranean on the west side!

Stopped by at Z Garden for lunch after seeing their yummy menu online. I got the chicken kabob plate while my buddy got the chicken pita wrap. The chicken is extremely flavorful with a smoky aroma and the rice is so soft and fragrant. It comes with hummus and salad which was refreshing and delicious. There was also complimentary pita and zatar olive oil which is a very nice touch. The restaurant ambiance is very nice, it has nice touches of greenery (really puts the garden in Z garden). The staff is very welcoming and friendly and i appreciate their good service. cant wait to come back

First time here at Z garden and wow, I was very impressed by the quality of the food! As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with friendly smiles. We ordered the Babaghannouji, falafel, cauliflower fritters, and combo kebab. First, the portions are very generous. Second, everything we ate was incredible! The babaghannouji was Smokey and so flavorful, falafels were extra crispy, and kebabs were juicy! It feels like a friendly neighborhood restaurant vibe. I will definitely be back!! Thank you Z garden for the wonderful meal!

This is my first time here and I'm glad I tried this Lebanese food. I shared a combo plate which comes with 3 kabobs: chicken, steak, and ground beef, rice, salad, and hummus. Before the food arrived we were greeted with a plate of pita and olive oil with Zaatar. The food is well seasoned and the meat is very tender and juicy. The hummus is also delicious. The service is great and the staff is very friendly. The restaurant is clean. Location is near Santa Monica College on Pico and 24ths Street. The picture of the beef kebab is only a portion from the larger combo plate that I ordered to share. Will be back again!

The inside is cute and has lots of seating. We were a party of six, and the staff was very accommodating, arranging tables for our group. We love trying halal restaurants, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered the Mega Feast, which is listed for 4-6 people. Honestly, it was way more than enough food for six people! Luckily, that meant lots of leftovers for the next few days. The feast came with beef and onion sambusa, chicken, cheese roll, beef kebab, chicken and beef shawarma, baba ganoush, hummus, fattoush salad, rice, fresh pita, garlic sauce, and tzatziki sauce. Everything was genuinely delicious. The meat was flavorful, juicy, and cooked perfectly. You can build your own shawarma wraps with the pita, hummus, and toppings, or enjoy everything over rice like a shawarma plate. Either way, it was amazing. We had a wonderful dinner and left happy and full. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in the area!

I have to say, the online ordering system was super user-friendly and a total breeze to navigate. And the best part? My food was ready exactly when it was promised, which I really appreciated - points for efficiency! Now, about the main event - the food. I went for the chicken Kabob and while it certainly wasn't bad, it kind of landed in the "just okay" category for me. I felt like it was playing it a little safe on the flavor front, and I couldn't help but think it might benefit from a bit more oomph in the seasoning department to really make it pop. Just a friendly suggestion from a new fan! Overall, it was a smooth first visit.

Where do I begin?…read more This was my last day in the beautiful land of California, and before heading out to catch my flight back to the South, I was craving Mediterranean food. I've been on a bit of a Mediterranean kick lately, thank you Cava for that. First impressions? The environment was beautiful. Seriously photo worthy. As a photographer, I couldn't help but admire the architecture inside and around the area. It had that visual vibe that made me excited to be there. There was no line when we walked in, so I quickly landed on my order: the Crimson Chicken Wrap (white meat) with a side of babaganoush, and the Chicken Shawarma (dark meat) with a side of fries. Everything sounded solid. But then... we waited. And waited. Over 30 minutes passed. In that time, about 3 to 4 other customers came in, placed their orders, got their food, and left. Meanwhile, we were still waiting on two of their more popular items. I tried to be patient, gave them the benefit of the doubt, until I saw someone who arrived 25 minutes after us get their Chicken Shawarma within 10 minutes of walking in. Given that we were on a time crunch with other places to be, the delay was beyond frustrating. We ended up speaking with the manager and shared our concerns, but by that point, the experience was already soured. Now for the food. I wanted to like it. The first bite had promise, but after that, it just felt like I was eating out of obligation. For the price point, the service delays, and the lackluster flavor, I honestly can't recommend the entrées I tried. The coffee? It seemed to be good, but not enough to bring me back just for that. I wish I could give Crimson a stronger review, especially because the space itself is stunning. But in the end, it was a case of style over substance. I'd give it a 2.5 out of 5, though I did walk away with some great photos, at least.

Since that time, I have eaten falafel not only in different LA locations but also at locations across the country while living in NYC. If you don't like falafel, you just haven't tried Hungry Pocket yet. I will edit this review if I find better falafel or if Hungry Pocket has changed/changes their recipe (will be visiting tomorrow for quality assessment purposes).
