After many years, I've returned to dining at Z Garden. For the most part, I was quite pleased with my meal. The size was on the small side for the chicken kebab wrap. It came with a salad instead of fries, which I liked. The chicken was moist and tender, which is what I was most concerned about. The flavor was good. I just wish it was a little bit larger. If you're in the area and want to enjoy some Mediterranean food at a fair price, this would probably be one of your best choices. My only regret is not discovering this phenomenal establishment sooner - and I'm so genuine in saying that. I ordered lunch from here during the week and it was okay. I ordered via Yelp because their website was confusing. There were items without descriptions and I couldn't even apply the promo code to my order when I signed-up for the newsletter. Picking up my order was pretty easy as my food was ready by my assigned time. They have a small parking lot in a plaza shared with other businesses. When I visited, it was full so I parked at the nearby Rite Aid parking lot which was free and had ample spaces. Inside the restaurant, the interior seemed pretty clean and spacious. My takeout order was concealed in a plastic container which was placed in a brown paper bag and was stapled. It also came with a plastic cutlery set. I ordered the chicken shawarma pita wrap with the side salad. The wrap itself was good, but the portion was really small. The chicken meat was flavorful, but a bit dry. I did get a dab of garlic sauce which was nice, but wish they gave me more to cover the wrap. The side salad was solid though. The veggies were fresh, crisp, and seasoned well. I liked how the carrots were sweet. However, all of this was around $19 which I would not spend for this again. Overall, a decent experience here. I would opt for other Middle Eastern/Mediterranean spots that are cheaper and give you larger portions. read more

The menu was extensive as well as the selection of bottled drinks to choose from. I opted for the lamb shank, which was served with rice, hummus, and salad. It was so tender you could cut it with just a fork! The flavors were perfectly spiced. My boyfriend chose the combo kebab plate, featuring three - chicken, steak, and kafta. He cleared his plate before I was even done half of mine. The service was exceptional, and we loved the authentic music playing out on the patio. The chicken is extremely flavorful with a smoky aroma and the rice is so soft and fragrant. It comes with hummus and salad which was refreshing and delicious. I used to go here a lot several years ago... since I've been here they still have the same ownership, but I didn't find the food to be as tasty or the portions to be as generous, though the price increased tremendously. I got a chicken Shawarma wrap which was very small in both length as well as circumference and a small portion of salad all on a plate that wasn't even a full dinner size plate. And it cost $15... That's definitely overpriced for what I was served. They're very nice there and the food is fresh, but I don't think I would go back for the reasons I've mentioned. read more

Everything was fresh, hot and delicious, despite this being a takeout order. The shrimp was grilled perfectly, and was succulent with the garlic sauce. Falafel was one of the best we had. Not too dense or oily, just the right crunch. With the tahini that had some lemon, it added oomph to the meal. There was enough shrimp, but the falafel bowl felt a little light with only 3 falafels. This is the second time there was no pita bread. Was told they always run out in the evening. He should've informed in the beginning. I would've come back at another time! So no pita bread, olive oil and very little garlic sauce!! And to top it off, I'm obviously disabled.
