I hadn't been to Pita Jungle in some time, so I was long overdue. I received an email about a limited time menu offering and rushed right over. The Gazpacho soup is to die for! Its primary ingredients are cucumber, tomato and onion. It's served chilled, so it's perfect for those hot Phoenix days. Gazpacho is hard to find in restaurants or grocery stores. I'm not sure why, so I'm especially appreciative that Pita Jungle offers it. I just hope they consider adding it to their permanent menu. The Philly Chicken Pita was quite good, though needed salt. The ooey, gooey melted cheese made this a winner. The Garlic New Potatoes are a PJ staple. They were good, though slightly dry. I enjoy Pita Jungle's casual, sit down atmosphere. The server was fast, friendly and I couldn't ask for more. Keep the Gazpacho on the menu, please and you won't be able to keep me away! read more

I've been eating at Pita Jungle for years and it's usually good but tonight it was a miss. I ordered the turkey pesto lavash wrap which I've had several times. I noticed the turkey was not the same as it usually is. It was square chunks of turkey- it reminded me of dog food. The wrap was also very soggy. Very disappointed tonight and curious if the turkey has changed indefinitely, or you were out tonight and used a different kind of turkey on hand? read more

I ordered their seasonal falafel sandwich which came out on a plate with nothing on it but a disgusting looking sandwich, you would think some effort would be put into making food look appetizing? They squirted ketchup or some sauce on the plate. The apparent owners sat at a table right in front of us, the way this was handled was unprofessional. And by that, I mean they did nothing. Awful customer service! Only person dinning at the bar. Never asked me if I wanted another wine, after my glass was empty for 10-15 mins. Cold lentil soup with a spoon definitely not made for soup. Soggy wrap that I requested no dressing or mayo on it. I requested it on the side. The remade it and put the same soggy salad in a new lavash wrap. They clearly used old lettuce in the wrap bc lettuce shouldn't be wet unless it old or has dressing on it. This place has went downhill for sure. read more

First time visiting this location. We had Pita Jungle in Scottsdale during our last visit and we wanted to come back during our recent visit in Camelback East. This time our table ordered the chicken schwarma wrap, the Mediterranean grilled chicken salad and the Greek salad with the added protein of shaved gyro. All was enjoyed ! Our server was very attentive and friendly. The only thing that could be improved is the amount of gyro meat they serve as an added protein to the salad. I love Pita Jungle, and that each location has a different feel to it. This location in Arcadia is a little smaller with an African theme (wooden masks, etc). There is a bar, and they serve my favorite white sangria. There are so many delicious things on the menu, but my favorites are the garlic potatoes, garlic dip, jalapeno cilantro hummus with seared ahi. So. So. So. Good. read more

This place is just reliably solid. Never disappoints. I used to live in the San Francisco Bay Area with plenty of middle eastern joints and this compares favorably. I've ordered many items off their menu usually sticking to typical middle eastern fare but they do have lots of other options. Love their dolmades and tabbouleh salad - always very good and its obvious its freshly made and not pre-prepared. Consistently friendly service to boot. Zero complaints. They recently upgraded the dining room at the Arcadia location and it looks nice but I usually get takeout. read more

Came here last night and was extremely disappointed. (I've dined at numerous other Pita Jungle locations before) I ordered the Chicken-Asada Super Greens 'n Grains Southwest Bowl from their summer menu. The menu listed the following items in the bowl: red quinoa, AVOCADO, tomato, roasted jalapeno, red onion, cilantro, parsley, sumac. When I received my bowl, I noticed there were no avocado, I asked my server and she told me they were out of avocado, but NEVER told me this as I was placing my order. As I was eating my food, I bit on 3 different CHICKEN BONES mixed in my bowl. The 3 bones were big in size, which could have easily been a choking hazard. The veggie lavash wrap was huge, enough for two meals. I ordered it without red onions and they were thoughtful enough to also not put red onions on the side salad which I appreciated. They gave me plenty of dressing. The lemon vinaigrette dressing is amazing! The rice is really good too! I highly recommend Pita Jungle and I will be ordering it again soon! read more

Just picked up my order of chicken tikka masala. There are maybe 20 xtra small pieces of chicken in the to go containers. Not even enough for one person. We got two orders. Ordered a tzatziki to share and it came with one pita bread since we ordered the small. Was a bit disappointed in the pita to dip ratio but the dip was definitely tasted fresh. Ordered what I remembered to be a shawarma salad which was packed with veggies and fresh chicken which I enjoyed. I did think it felt a bit dry so asked for additional tahini. I think it would have benefitted from more sauce or another type of dressing to begin with. Service was.. fine. Was at Pita Jungle today with a party of 4. Two of us ordered a portabella burger, and 1 of them without a bun. (GF) Neither of us could find much of the mushroom! Super thinly cut. It would have been more valid to call it a "red pepper burger." There were lots of red peppers and some spring lettuce and lots of vinegar, but definitely disappointing. The waiter was very attentive and I generally like pita jungle, but a mushroom burger should have more than a thin slice of mushroom. Spent $100 and 2 of us were disappointed. :( read more

Both times the food came out quickly & every item was the expected temperature & every item was fantastic. The kitchen staff clearly knows what they're doing & the waitstaff always checks a table even though it's not theirs. THAT is good training & processes. Not sure if my choice was poor but I felt I could do my exact meal at home and when I go out I'm trying to get something that it's either unique tasting or hard to make at home.
