    Salmon bowl
    John K.

Family gathering next door for Easter party at Village , post lunch choice close by across the parking lot from Aj s market . Formerly a fox restaurant then bought out by one of the corporate conglomerates, not local although fox originating in Tucson . Sitting elevated on south side with covered patio wrapping around . Inside large dinning area somewhat industrial theme high ceilings .comfortable casual tables and chairs . Fast casual, order & delivered to your table. Healthy looking menu. Salads , wraps , bowls & entrees. Our party had salmon entrees w 2 sides , great chicken Mac & broccoli kids plate, ginger miso crunch salad, & green chili queso ( which thought was soup as right below soup of the day on the electronic menu however was tortilla chips w green chili cheese nacho like dip ) . It fit the bill for our lunch . Friendly efficient service .

Steak Entree with Roasted Broccoli & Gluten-Free Mac & Cheese

Ive always heard good things about Flower child and finally decided to try. Ugh I wish I'd visited sooner!! I got the new Tuna Poke Bowl. Super tasty & flavorful. The flavors together are really good. I wish there was a little more ponzu sauce. I ordered the steak Entree for my daughter. with mac & broccoli. Wow was that good. The mac and cheese was probably the best I've ever had. Steak was really good and cooked perfect. The broccoli was also very yummy, a little too lemony but will def order again. We also tried the lemonade & a carrot cake cupcake. Everything was awesome. The cupcake was very soft and moist. Definitely will be back :)

The Rebel on a Gf wrap (add sliced tomatoes for a great upgrade to the rich flavor!)

This location, and the one on 90th St. in Scottsdale, are probably my favorite for consistency. That includes the counter service, the cleanliness and stocked self-serve station of the dining room, the well-staffed kitchen that doesn't seem overwhelmed. I repeated an order that I had once before at a different location and it really is one of my new favorite go-to's. The Rebel on a gluten-free wrap (that doesn't fall apart!!!), beef cooked well done, and I add sliced tomatoes - which I think the recipe definitely needs to counter the richness of that port salut cheese that is so choice! Great lunch again today!

Tofu, Roasted Broccoli, Kung Pow Cauliflower

The food here is so tasty and vegetarian friendly! I ordered the tofu with brocolli and cauliflower and have to say the tofu and brocolli were amazing. The taste of the cauliflower wasn't my favorite c but that could just be a personal preference. I'd highly recommend coming here for high-quality, savory food! It was so good I felt like something I would order at a 5-star restaurant. The staff was nice and the store was busy on a Friday night around 7pm. There is a ton of indoor seating which was nice. It's also quite cute inside and has a romantic, rustic vibe. This place seems like a good restaraunt to catch up with your friend(s) or even get dinner alone.

Love the food, love the food options, and love the setting. Great music and great service. Very affordable and I love the vegan options.

Meh. Nothing special. My proteins were fine but the portion sizes were microscopic. I like the idea of a healthier "fast" restaurant (we have been on the hunt for one similar to a place called Tender Greens in Cali) but this one didn't stack up. My husband thought his food all tasted a little sour (he got the steak plate with broccoli). Glad we tried it because I had been wanting to, but I don't foresee us ever going back again.

Stopped in for a quick lunch and went for the Mediterranean chicken kabob. The harissa on the chicken was amazing and balanced perfectly with the freshness of the tomato's and mint. A great choice if you're looking for a quick and healthier meal.

Flower Child has become my go-to spot when I want a fairly healthy but substantial meal -- it's delicious and fairly priced, and this location is always lovely to dine in at! I'm a huge fan of getting the entrees with steak here. The steak is always perfectly medium rare -- never overcooked -- which honestly seems like a feat for any place that serves it for under $20 nowadays. The gluten-free mac and cheese is a delightfully creamy side made with a great blend of high quality cheeses. Most sides I've tried are great, but that's my go-to. The kale salad is also fabulous, along with the smashed potato and cauliflower risotto. The inside is always cute and clean too!

What a spot. Came in here for a work lunch off a recommendation from our customer and couldn't have been more happy with the experience. It's a walk up and order spot that turns the food out quickly. The ingredients are awesome and if you're looking for a healthy lunch, this is your place to go. I got the Mother Earth and added chicken and was very happy with the meal. Very tasty and they have an assortment of hot sauces on the side that you can choose from. Big bonus for hot sauce lovers like myself. The inside of the restaurant is super clean and everything is really well put together. Huge fan of this place. Definitely will be a returning customer. Cheers!

Service was about a 20 min wait however the miso sals add blackened shrimp was really flavorful. Healthy food that taste great is a loss art. You order at the counter and wait for your surprise. They have proteins and vegetarian options. The ambiance is very fresh and open. Fix really delivered the green on this one. Only gripe I would have is the small dressings for the salad. Make sure you get 2 because 1 is not enough !

Fast casual. Love the healthy menu options. Servers and workers were super friendly and the prices are very affordable! Food came out at a decent time, and ambiance was cute and whimsical. Love this place because it's perfect for any light lunch meal.

    Flying avacado

My friend had recommended we eat at one of her favorite places to eat - Flower Child to hangout and catch up. My first time here and it is busy! The line was out the door forming. Good to see a place get so much business, that must mean it is really good! The cashier took my friend and I's order quickly. My friend was redeeming her free birthday dessert - a cookie. Honestly they looked kind of disgusting and burnt on the cookie tray. And it was really off putting to see flies all over the cookies. I love cookies and desserts but I think I would pass on any desserts here. I got the Flying Avacado Wrap and some rose petal lemonade (it was something like that). Delicious! I love a good wrap and I would order it again. Didnt realize they also had sweet potato fries but where I was sitting I could see the food orders come out for workers to take the plates to customers. I would definitely come back to try those and other meal dishes.

The tea is a special Fox Restaurant Concepts blend so I don't believe it is something you can get elsewhere.

She recommended a fantastic vegan spot called Tacos Veganos; and it blow us away. Yes, everything is VEGAN, including the meats! We ordered three different meat tacos: pork, chicken, and beef. I opted for the taco de papo, which was an incredibly delicious combination of potatoes, cabbage, and a sauce made from cashews. It was deep-fried, which added a unique texture to the dish. The chicken taco was my favorite. It was fantastic once I dipped it into the red magic compote. The beef taco had an aftertaste, but that's just a personal preference. Ana, who's a native of Mexico, said the same thing about the tacos. I was skeptical at first, but she was right. These tacos are so good that sometimes the substitute is better than the real thing. I highly recommend trying these tacos at least once. You'll be amazed at how good they are. I'll definitely be back real soon!

I was glad we got there when we did because shortly after we put our order in there was a line almost to the door. It is counter service so you kind of need to know what you are getting and everything looks so yummy it was super hard to decide. I got the AZ burrito with birria, which is made with jackfruit. It's meant to be like pulled pork. It was huge and very messy. They tortilla was very rubbery but the filling was good and I think there were French fries in there? Maybe that is what makes it an AZ burrito? Overall the flavor was good but it needed something else like beans or guac. It just tasted very one note. Also I got the horchata. It was delicious. My mom got the surf and turf taco. Again the tortilla was tough to eat so she got a fork and a plate and tore into it. This one had the "asada" soy steak and then breaded and fried pieces of cauliflower. The fake meat was not that good. It was too salty and so was the rice. The cauliflower although tasty was so big it was hard to eat. Overall it was good but not as amazing as I had wanted it to be. I likely won't go out of my way to come back.

They were really sweet and put us at a booth with candlelight and ambience was just pretty romantic. This restaurant really made me feel special on my birthday. I really enjoyed that they gave me a handwritten card and everyone was just very happy to be there. Our server was a delight and I would definitely come back here. For the food, we both end up ordering steak and frites as it was an offering on that evening and included unlimited fries. My husband could not get enough of this. He also got the truffle fries which were flavored just right. My steak was done perfectly and the flavor was just right. We also were able to have some drinks and our server was able to score us some beer from a nearby establishment that was on tap that was delicious. The icing on top of the evening is that they gave me a complementary crème brûlée for my birthday and it was very good. I'm not even a big crème brûlée person, but the char on top of the crème brûlée was so crispy and so caramelized that you could not resist eating that entire thing. All in all, I would definitely come back here. I would love to try some of the other items on the menu. Plus the espresso smelled amazing. I will say that this is a place you should get a reservation for because it was very busy. But the experience itself was perfect and just looking at all the cute outfits that the staff was wearing was a vibe. Btw the robust amount of management that came by to check on our table was authentic. It just ensured that they were about you having a good experience. This Parisian restaurant is located inside of the global ambassador so you are able to valet your car or you can also park in the nearby garage. The burger was no better, meat was dry and over salted, in fact, we felt parched after eating it and couldn't get enough water the rest of the day... way too salty. Definitely don't recommend either of those. The highlight was the salad and the decor of the restaurant. But all in all, a disappointing experience for our first time here.

She did mention that she prefers another salad over what I selected, and I like when servers tell me their favorite items. It definitely seems like a place for a business lunch, I went by myself and actually quite a few people were there by themselves in case you're shy about dining in by yourself. It was fairly busy for a Monday morning lunch. I originally was going to get their lunch special to go bc I have stuff to do, but they said it wasn't available to go. Since I did actually have time to sit for a bit I decided to dine in. (It says dine in only on the bottom of the menu but my brain conveniently skipped over that part) When they seat you they stick a white card on the table that the server picks up after they've come to the table. I feel like it's a subtle thing that clues in the servers about which tables they've been to, especially on a busy night. I had an iced matcha with almond milk. It was sweet, but not too sweet. Matcha grade seemed on par with what I'd expect in a matcha beverage. Lunch special was $20 for a drink, main and side. Some stuff was a surcharge. I had the burger and Chinese chicken salad. Drink was a pink dragon fruit lemonade which I knew my mini mini would love, so I saved it for her. I thought it was a little tart for me, she thought it was amazing. The burger- I requested to add pickles bc I love them. It was cooked nicely, flavor was decent. I'm a huge fan of white cheddar. The sauce, per the server, was ketchup and Mayo, and they didn't drown the burger in it, so that was good. I think they make their pickles in house and tbh, I know I would have liked the burger less without pickles. I think it needed a tiny bit of acidity for balance. It was a $5 surcharge. Overall I enjoyed it, 8.5/10 The Chinese chicken salad was a hearty salad, and a lot of beautiful colors and textures. Watermelon radish is so pretty in this. The carrot ginger dressing wasn't over the top with ginger. I think the natural sweetness of the carrot really tones it down. The toasted quinoa, I could take it or leave it, but it didn't taste bad, I'm just not a huge quinoa fan. 8/10, and a $2 surcharge. So, if you want to get it as close to $20 before tax and tip, don't get anything that they have a surcharge for, but I liked what I got, it came to under $40 before tip. I wanted to try the kale aid but I'll get that next time. (A $5 surcharge if you get the lunch option) Another plus- I think the straws are biodegradable but they are not the paper straws that dissolves 2 sips in. Yay! The chocolate chip cookie- to me it tasted like they put banana in it. If you're hoping for a chewy chocolate chip cookie, this is not it. It's thick and fairly soft. It reminded me of when people make pumpkin chocolate chip cookies- similar texture. The tcho chocolate in it was good, but I didn't like the actual cookie dough that much. Mini mini thought it was so good, but she also thought it tasted like banana was in it. I think it was a 6/10, mini mini would give it an 8/10. So, about a 7/10. Restroom was relatively clean, had a baby changing table in the stall if needed. The floor seemed a bit sticky though. Would I come back? Yes when I'm in the area, I don't live close by.

Ok... The food and service was absolutely amazing!! I wasn't a fan of the tables being bolted down…read moreso you can't move them together for large parties... not a deal breaker though, because the food was amazing and presented perfectly!! Today I had their French Dip. It was fantastic. The only thing I would change is to serve it on a nice baguette, versus the sesame seed roll it came out on. However, this sandwich was delish and the Au Jus was perfect. Oh yeah, and nice touch with the chef coming by to check on our food!! Perfect touch to the service!! I washed it down with their Bloody Mary! Fantastic and their horseradish stuffed green olives were amazeballs!! Yummo!!! Everyone in my party enjoyed the food. Give them a shot, if you haven't already!!

A friend and I came to The Collins to check out their newly launched brunch. I loved the vibe of…read morethe place, definitely unexpected from the outside & location. We sat inside since it was a hot day but the outdoor seating looked lovely, weather permitting. The menu had some really great options, I ended up going with the Croquet Madam. It was super tasty minus that the bread was burnt. Without the burn, it would've been a solid 5/5 for me. I also am obsessed with their fries, they're those skinny shoestring crispy type & with the truffle aïoli were perfection. The service started off great but slowly slipped as our server got busier and visited our table far less. I'm sure they just have some kinks to work out with the new menu. Overall I still really enjoyed it & would come back again to try their dinner.
