    It was yum

First time trying it, ordered online through their website for pick up. It was very good! I had a chicken pita.

Chicken Souvlaki plate with rice I ate most of it but it is a delicious meal. Very healthy !

I really appreciate the men working here not only were they warm and welcoming they were super sweet to my daughter and let her try the toppings on a separate plate. First time here and I can say the food is great and the employees are even better. I would definitely return here again ! Great place to gather and eat! Very clean and professional.

Casual little restaurant with plenty of seating available. I was lucky enough to meet the husband and wife owners who provided exceptional customer service. They were very friendly and generous. I tried the Super Greek rolled specialty pita. It was double protein Wednesday for an extra .99cents, so I did that. The roll had perfect proportions of meat to veggies. The vegetables were fresh and crisp. It was a healthy, flavorful and filling dinner! I loved that this was not a messy meal. It was well wrapped and easy to eat. I definitely recommend the Pita Pit and will be back next time I visit Sacramento.

I've been here a few times already, and they never fail to make their pitas super delicious. Highly recommend it for their swift and friendly service and consistently tasty food! I recently visited and ordered a Baja chicken bacon ranch, asking for no bacon. When my order arrived, it had bacon in it, so I informed one of the gals in the front. She quickly took my order back and made a whole new one for me. Not only was she super quick and very kind, but she also provided me with a treat. I really loved the excellent customer service at this place! Must try if you're looking for flavor, can't go wrong with this place!!

Been wanting to try this place for quite some time and today was the day. Got the Thai Buddha bowl and it was yummy and SPICY! I think this is really good for those of us looking for healthier options to eat. Will definitely be back.

Clean and efficient store. Lunch here yesterday, I ordered Take Out in the store. Plenty of parking in the lot. Located on at a corner of a major street so easy to to find ways into the lot. Chicken Cesar in a wheat pita is one of my favorites. I appreciate how this alone is a filling for lunch and so tasty. The ingredients were fresh, the chicken generous, and the great soft. A Chef Salad was orders for later in the day. It too had fresh ingredients with crispy lettuce. Not all salads to go are that fresh, so love this experience.

Great first impression! The restaurant was clean, the staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, and the food is fresh and delicious. Definitely give this place a try for an easy healthy meal.

Freshness packed in a pocket. With fresh ingredients and fresh pita pockets it's gonna be healthy, unless you go and glob it up with stuff that makes it not so. Had them back when they 1st opened here and randomly came back and now having kids with us might be a challenge. As they randomly change what they like and what day they will, but today was a good day. The ladies helped us with the menu and told us even with the pre named sandwiches you can still make your own and change things up. The employees who helped were great from telling us all about the menu and things you can do to your pocket sandwich, and being patient with me ordering(kids 1st time trying), luckily no one was behind me in line. Both kids had there own combination and they both ate the whole thing. My wife and I were happy and said mark this in the book, as we found a place we all can eat it. They have a lot of fresh vegetables and they also have white and wheat pita breads. The menu has some pre named ones for you, but you can go off and do your own thing and/or even switch theres up a bit. Parking can be tight as the plaza has some extra small spots and then some regular spots too, but its usually busy during the weekends and dinner time weekdays. Keep your eyes peeled you should be good.

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

The pita bread was also so fresh and light with the veggies. The service was great! Workers here greeted us with big smiles and continuously check on us. Server did offer to let us choose 2 different meats for our two #41 Koobideh plates (2 beef skewers for $25), but I think we would have been better off just ordering one #61 All Koobideh plate (3 different meat skewers for $34). One plate has plenty of basmati rice for two people to share. She suggested the two #41 orders, instead of answering how much an extra order of rice would cost. Maybe you can't order a side of rice? Rice comes with each entree. By ordering the 2nd plate, she offered or included the $8 Bread Basket for no extra charge. It was my friend's birthday. I wanted to pay, and she wanted to order extra to go, so I wanted two separate bills, but it seemed too complicated to explain or disallowed. After the food was delivered to the table, server didn't check on us anymore. I guess the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthdays. My friend thought all the koobideh tasted the same. I liked them in this order: 1) Lamb, 2) Chicken, and 3) Beef, but they're the same texture, so they aren't all that different. I should have ordered a different 2nd entree, instead of two Koobideh plates. The #18 Bademjan Borani eggplant appetizer was yummy. It did come with some bread, so you don't have to order the bread basket. The bread is served warm. The basmati rice was light and fluffy, but not flavorful or buttery. You can pay a $4 upgrade to switch the rice to salad or a fancier stir fried rice. Read the Vegetarian Dishes menu section to learn about the various fried rice or polo preparations. Our server suggested the Fava Bean Rice or Baghali Polo because it is a Persian New Year dish. Yelp reviewers recommended the Zereshk Polo, which includes barberries, a fruit similar to currants. $10 to add a skewer of veggies. $4 to add a salad is mentioned under the Vegetarian Dishes menu and Seafood & Combination Plates menu. I didn't like how the sugar cubes for the Persian Tea were served. It looked communal and exposed to the elements. You could see sugar dust on the serving bowl. Other Persian restaurants serve the sugar in a smaller covered bowl. Formal dining room. Lunch specials are Monday to Friday, 11 am to 3 pm, excluding holidays. Lunch prices range from $16-$20. 3 different $8 soup offerings: chicken barley, ashe reshteh, or green lentil.
