I have had Pitas To Go bookmarked for a while. I finally stopped by since I was passing by the restaurant. The old gentleman who was there, was doing an excellent job of running the business. I placed an order of two Lula kabob plates and one side of babaganoush. The Lula Kabob Plate included rice, fresh green salad, hummus, turnip pickles and pita bread. The Lula kabob was fresh, well seasoned, juicy and delightful. The Hummus was very creamy. Babaganoush was one of the best I had tried. It took around fifteen minutes to receive my order which was convenient. The restaurant was clean. It has both indoor and outdoor seating. There is ample parking. I am glad I stopped by and tried their delicious food. Definitely, I will go back.

Best Mediterranean food. I use to live down the street now I have to drive to pick up my favorite plate. Small business, but so well worth it. Great customer service and cozy clean spot to dine in.

Little hidden gem on arrow highway in Irwindale. Inside looks older and a little run down but the food and service makes up for it. The Lula kabob was juicy and the rice and hummus was excellent. The shawarma was huge. You really get your moneys worth and the quality is up there. Glad we stumbled upon this spot.

10/10 shawarma wrap. FALAFEL IS DELICIOUS. My wrap was as big as my head! Great price and quality food. Definitely a great authentic experience. Thankyou again. If you support family owned buisness I definitely recommend this. Thankyou again! God bless you and your buisness.

You need to come try this place! The food is very good, the owner is very friendly and nice, and the place is comfortable. It's usually not very busy but it's still very good overall.

I'd like to start this review by sharing that I'm not someone who has a picky palette and I've had Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food for over a decade. Today I ordered a falafel plate that comes with rice, salad and hummus. The falafel is complete mush, the salad was wilted and sour and the hummus was runny as if it had been sitting out at room temperature. The man who welcomed me and charged me was very nice and smiled kindly. I rate his service 10/10 but the food is by far the worst plate I've ever had. Thank you Pitas but I will not be back.

I'd give this place a solid 3.5 stars. I just stopped by because I was in the area and needed to get some lunch. I think if you live or work nearby, this is a solid spot for Mediterranean food but it's not something I would come out of my way for. I got the chicken and lula plate and they both came with rice, salad, hummus, and pita bread. They have a special right now for 1 chicken kabob plate for $9. Although it seems like a good deal, why not just pay an additional $3 for more chicken? The chicken was tender and juicy and had a nice char flavor. I recommend that over the lula plate. The meat in the lula was ok. It was very bouncy in texture and I wasn't a huge fan of that and the flavor. I would stick to the chicken. The chicken plate also comes with garlic spread otherwise you have to spend .50 for additional garlic in those small cups. The person who took my order was very nice and gave us an additional garlic sauce on the house. I love garlic spread and anything garlic but I did not love this. It just tasted funky to me and had a sour taste. Maybe it was going bad but I'm glad I didn't have to pay extra for something I didn't like.

Covid times. To go meal. Combo $12+. Was okay for me.

The food was bland, the baklava used cheap corn oil. The ice machine wasn't working and they had no A.C.. terrible experience.

The staff here was welcoming and kind and we sat wherever we pleased. The location is quaint but can seat a decent amount of customers. The menu has changed a bit over time. Our favorite things to order is usually their Gyro. The prices are very affordable and the portions are adequate. One thing I'd like to mention is the food is consistently good whether your order take-out or dine in. The quality is the same! My personal favorite has always been their Classic Gyro. It's always so stacked with flavor and protein. The combo is a great option too because you can share the massive portion of fries they give you. All in all, Grape Leaf has been a solid Greek food option for us when craving this type of cuisine. They take good care of their customers and their food is spectacular! Support this local gem in the city of Glendora. Thanks! ( ^_^)b

When I left, the tables got packed. I tried the platter for two, which came with a load of delicious rice, three proteins, roasted tomatoes and peppers. I enjoyed pairing it with their tahini and garlic sauces. The service and hospitality were amazing. Shout out to Ari, she is the best and really made my dining experience seamless. From recommendations, to check-ins, to bringing sauces for my table to try, it felt personable. The interior is perfect for families, dates, and catching up. It's casual but feels elevated. The food is delicious and the prices are appropriate given the portion sizes. Service was prompt and professional. Parking might be a challenge, though there are public lots within a block or two. We went on a Friday night and encountered heavy traffic from the local farmer's market/fair. The best item was the Beef kabob, 5 out of 5 stars. It was perfectly cooked, a very simply salt and pepper seasoning, juicy and simply divine! We got the kids meal, which came with only 4 pieces, and I'd be interested to return for the full adult portion. Also a 5-star experience was the Fried cauliflower appetizer. It had just the right amount of crispiness, without any blackening, and the garlic/parsley/lemon juice combo worked well. The juice was sucked into all the crevices, and overall it was light. I think I could have eaten two portions myself and called it a satisfying meal. I did dip in some tzatziki, which worked great too! Lastly the Chicken shawarma was a 4-star dish. Still delicious and I'd get it again, but it was slightly salty from the marinade and added sauce. I was expecting this to be wrapped up, but it was more an open-face naan with the chicken covering the top. Rice pilaf was savory, I'd rather not know just how many calories are included, the rice was still moist even after reheating the next day.
