They diagnosed the flat tire, found a hole, patched it up, and changed out the spare in about 20 minutes for $20! I had to pop in here twice this week, and both times they were fast, helpful, honest but not pushy, and priced well. I went in on Wednesday to get my tires balanced, which took less than 20 minutes (just got my front tires done) and was $20 total. The tech told me that my brakes were getting low and that my left rear tire needed to be replaced, but he was great about not pushing me to do anything right then. I went back the next day and got the tire replaced, and was out of there in less than 30 minutes. I got my front tires replaced since the dealership who services my car recommended it. First off, the price they quoted me for 2 new tires was the out the door price, tax included. Secondly, I was in and out of the shop within 15 minutes. While they were replacing my front two tires they checked my breaks, since the dealership told me i needed to replace my rear breaks and checked my back left tire for a nail that the dealership said was there and needed patching. No nail existed and the breaks didn't need to be replaced. They were absolutely the best auto shop I have ever experienced! read more

Incredibly Poor customer service ( Cursed at by a tech that couldn't do his job properly), Poor quality of work (After 2 attempts on the rack the car was still not aligned properly), and even worse management (I have been dealing with a manager for some sort of resolve to this poor experience and i have been strung along for over a month now with promises of meetings and some sort of resolve). I came in with my Corvette several months ago because it felt like it was pulling to the right on the freeway at speed. Corvettes are a little tricky because all four tires need to be aligned and you need high end equipment to do that. Pacific Pitt Stop uses all Hunter alignment and balancing equipment. After putting her up on the lift and checking everything out they said my alignment was fine and I didn't need an alignment. They did charge me a modest fee for checking out the car, but it would have been so easy to take the money. Four wheel alignments aren't cheap. So for that reason alone they earned my business plus their equipment is the best in the biz. read more

I dropped in to get a leaking tire fixed. It was late in the day and they had a number of cars they were already working on. After I pulled up, one of the techs immediately stopped what he was doing and asked me how he could help me. I told him the problem and I drove away with a fixed tire in 15 minutes. Got to give them 5 stars for friendly service. I thought I had a puncture and went there without an appointment and was served quickly. They removed the wheel, checked for nails or other obvious causes of the loss of air pressure. Finding nothing, they dipped the wheel in a water trough and checked for air bubbles, also finding no fault. Very thorough and very reassuring, and very professional. Thank you. These guys are simply amazing. They are family owned and operated and really understand customer service. I got a flat tire at 3pm on Saturday. I called about 5 other places who rushed me off the phone or put me on hold forever. By the time I called Pacific Pitt Stop it was 3:30 and I spoke to Frank. He walked me through every detailed question I had and gave me quotes on their entire line of tires and offered up promotions and why each tire was better than the other. We spent 15 minutes on the phone discussing what to do and when I was finally sure that I wanted to go to these guys, I asked what time he closed and he said 4pm. I told him theres no way I could come in by then and it would take me atleast 20 minutes to get there so I could come in on Monday. He said dont worry about it, I'll wait for you here come on by and we'll take care of it today so you dont have to worry about it over the weekend. Who does that?! I rushed over there and Frank greeted me with a smile. He changed out 4 of my tires and did an alignment in less than 45 minutes (over an hour after his scheduled close time). His prices were better than many of the "discount" places I called and I ended up with a set of brand new Bridestone Never Flat tires for $650 instead of the cheapo tires that the other guys were going to sell me at a similar price. I will never go anywhere else. They do everything from oil changes to alignments and more and anytime I need anything I know I can call Frank and he would give me an honest answer. Stop calling other places and just drive down to Pacific Pit Stop. I promise you will not regret it. read more

I picked up a screw in my tire and stopped by the Pitt Stop to have them patch it. They started working my tire right away. About 15 minutes and $15 later, I was ready to roll out. They didn't try to push any other service on me. Just did what was needed to fix the tire. Fast, friendly and efficient. I would definitely use them again if I need my tires worked on. read more

I'm generally very untrusting of mechanics, but I needed a tire balance, so I had to take my car in somewhere. After checking out all the really good reviews for this place, I decided to head over after work. I have a 2007 Honda Accord with 17 inch wheels. Total came out to $20, and the guys got it done in literally 10 minutes. I am not exaggerating!!! They also had some sweet magazines in the waiting room, but I didn't even have time to read a full article before they finished up. I'll be taking my car for a trip to NorCal this weekend, so that'll be the true test, but I don't have any doubt they did some super fast, quality work. I would highly recommend this place! I went there the first time and was in and out...no problems. I called today for a tire repair and they said come in and they would repair it on a first come first serve basis. Sounded reasonable, so I hopped in the car and drove over. When I got there the repair person said it was a two hour wait. Five seconds of her effort would have saved me an hour. read more

Rolled over a screw recently and couldn't find a spot near my work in El Segundo to get my tire patched. So I looked for tire repair spots in 90245 Zip and Pacific Pitt Stop pops up . With VERY good Yelp comments. They took me in at lunch time with no appt. and patched my right rear time from the inside, which is the better method. I swear I was in and out of there in maybe 15 minutes. Really surprised me in a good way. Mgr was very nice and price was very reasonable. I will be coming back for other miscellaneous items (oil change, radiator flush, etc). Nice clean shop too. read more

There's a shop just a few steps away from work - read the reviews on Yelp... looked promising...got my 4-wheel alignment done and at a price that can't be beat! This place is great! I had a slow leak in one of my tires, did a yelp search and here I am. As all the other reviews say, my wait was something like 10 minutes, maybe less and $15...that's it. No upsell, just let me know I should think about getting new front tires sometime in the near future (they're due). The only thing is....thanks to daylight savings, I was driving around in the dark and the logo on the sign is kind of hard to see. But, underneath the logo, the word TIRES is REALLY BIG so I was pretty sure I found the right place. Thanks, guys!! read more

Fernando saved me...Had a slow leak in one of my tires, so I went to a reputable place in Manhattan Beach first to get it patched or plugged. Instead, they said I needed to replace at least the front two tires because the leak was too close to the sidewall. Instead of forking out a butt load of cash, I came to Pacific Pitt Stop. The greasy mechanics here took my car in right away and patched it on the spot. Immediate service. $15. Fernando said I still had a decent amount of tread left on my tires and didn't mention any difficulty on the repair. Saved a ton of money. Just be aware that parking is limited, and it's a good idea to call first to see if they are busy. read more

Hi all. I just moved to the SoCal area and really needed a place to find a good oil change and an all around good, trustworthy mechanic. My car was making a horrible metallic grinding sound (honestly, it felt like it was about to fall apart) on Friday. I researched and found this place, located conveniently close to my work. Turns out, I just hit something that knocked some pieces out of place and where grinding up on the engine. Just a small screw was needed! All in all, I walked out of there just paying $30 for the oil change when I thought I was going to have to give them my whole paycheck! One of the best places in the area to get automotive service. I've always known that they offer tire service and sell tires here but in addition they also offer oil changes! Really like these guys. Trustworthy, convenient, helpful and reasonably priced. I've had them plug a tire, which they did quickly for not a lot of money, and had them test drive to diagnose an issue and then run an alignment check and do an alignment. They listened, responded to my questions, were just *helpful* and showed me the results of the alignment test on their monitor. They had occasion where they *could* have tried to upsell me on a tire they carry, because the vehicle I recently bought has 3 of one brand and 1 of another. But when I asked them if that fourth tire was an issue, they took a look at it, deemed the type to be so close to the other three that it was fine, and DID NOT look for that as an opportunity to try to get me to buy something.
