Donuts are super important to me. And I've got to say: Pixie does donuts better than anyone else in the east bay over all. The prices are on point. They rarely if ever run out of the kind you want. The older man who works there is nice as hell. The donuts always taste fresh soft and delicious. I go out of my way to come here for donuts. I usually get the sugar donuts or the jelly donuts, which are both consistently on point. But I've also had their croissants [they are effing CRAZY GOOD.], blueberry donut [tasty, cakey, moist and reminiscent of fruity pebbles in aroma... pleasantly so], and glazed french crueller [so fluffy and amazing]. If you like donuts, you have to try Pixie. If you don't like donuts...reevaluate your life. read more

Everywhere we go maple donuts are sold out everywhere!!! Luckily they had some maple bars. We also got some donut holes and some old fashioned donuts. The donut holes were super soft and fluffy and moist. The people were nice and the wait was not long but some guy ahead of us didn't bring any cash so we had to wait to pay. I originally liked coming here because I can make my coffee the way I want but because of today's incident, I will not be visiting again. I ordered 2 of the tasteless egg ham and cheese croissant again. I knew there is only one very very thin slice of ham in them so I requested extra ham for my 2 croissants, and I also bought 3 donuts and a coffee. The total came out to be $24. After I got in my car, I looked at my croissants and instead of one very very thin slice of ham, there is now two very very thin slices of ham. WOW. I then suddenly realized $24 was pretty pricey for the items I had purchased and that maybe it was a mistake. I went back to ask for the receipt and to confirm the pricing on each of the items. 2 egg ham cheese croissant = $11....Extra ham = $5...I hesitated for a bit and made sure it was correct that the extra ONE very very thin slice of ham on the croissants was an additional $5. Hmm, not sure about this place. The thing is, the donuts were good, but I didn't particularly enjoy the experience there. Lets examine.. The place is small. Nothing is wrong with small, just making a note. The selection of donuts and pastries was pretty small compared to all the other donut/pastry places I've been to, and all the price tags were mixed up and wrong. A man took our order, and his wife (??) was sitting behind him watching an asian drama. It was kinda distracting and unprofessional. I usually don't mind these things because it makes a place feel more 'real' and genuine (and I'm asian), but it kinda ticked me off because she pretended we weren't there, but she would be talking to her husband and interrupt our order. I usually frequent this place in the morning but I've decided to visit this afternoon and service is definitely not the same! I ordered a different arrangement of donuts and they were thrown in a bag. Not offered a box (which has never happened to me before) she actually told me, I had to ask her for a box. Which is very strange. I would like to think it is common sense to put a dozen donuts in a box! Her attitude was as if I was bothering her, I understand Covid has everyone on edge but if someone is spending their hard earned money you should treat every customer with respect and kindness. Don't get your donuts from here! You will get ripped off! I do not discriminate against the donuts, they were tasty. However, I will never buy from here again after experiencing such rude and unfriendly service. I went in and bought 2 donuts and an orange juice, adding up to 3 dollars. Gave the guy 10 dollars, and received a dollar back. After realizing he gave me the incorrect change I told him, and he refused to admit he made a mistake. I know I gave him 10 dollars because I only had a 10 dollar bill, yet he kept insisting that I only gave him 5 and refused to give me back the change that he owed me. He was extremely rude and unwilling to hear me out and I never got the money that they still owe me back. I've been here 3x & do enjoy their donuts. Usually I get 1 or 2 max which are $1 each plus tax. They have a sign for $5.50 for 1/2 dozen, so I decided to get extra for my coworkers. I chose the normal size raised & small cake type donuts. They're all $1 each, so it should've been $5.50 like their sign said. The man charged me $7 plus tax. I. Being a donut lover, I had to try this spot. I got the long john and the cinnamon crumb donut. The cinnamon crumb donut was way too sweet and too bready. I always thought krispy kreme was the sweetest donut in the world, but Pixie Donuts just overtook them! The custard in the long john was also overbearingly sweet and it makes me wish I should of just got a chocolate glazed donut. Nothing really stood out for me. They have a selection of donuts but you gotta come early because if you get there late they might not have the donuts you want. They have Texas sized donuts for like 3 bucks and its huge! The donuts here are very delicious and are obviously made to perfection. Service is fast and the workers are very kind.
