I'm a regular here and really love the iced latte drinks. It's always clean and the employees are friendly. I order on the app and pick up and I've never had to wait. My ONLY complaint is that occasionally my drink is made with regular cow's milk rather than the oatmilk I specify, which gives me the runs ALL FREAKING DAY. I think it's one gal that doesn't pay attention. The only way to ensure it doesn't happen would be to order in person and watch them make it. Since ownership changed sometime this year, the quality and service has really gone down hill. I used to come here 1-2 times a month but took a break. Started trying them out again and things have very obviously changed. First off, the quality of the donuts has noticeabley degraded. What used to be soft and fluffy donuts are now hard and dry, similar in texture to stale white bread. I recently tried some of the crueller donuts and it was literally the worst donut I've ever had. I ended up throwing the the other two away because they were practically inedible. The service and professionalism has also taken a hit. 70% of the time the employees are in regular street clothes with no DD branding which is a bit odd. I'm talking sweatpants and a hoodie, tank top and jeans, etc. On top of that, they seem to be "hiding" in the back most of the time just talking. I live very close to this Dunkin' location and have been a regular customer since it opened. The food is consistently what you'd expect from Dunkin'--and most of the time, it's made well. Today, I ordered the Sourdough Bacon, Egg, and Cheese sandwich, and it was excellent. The $6.00 meal deal, which includes the sandwich, hash browns, and an iced coffee, is a great value. We also added some Munchkins and a Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwich. Overall, the food was very good. That said, I do want to offer some honest feedback about the customer service experience. While I believe the staff are doing their best, there seems to be a lack of proper training and coordination. On several visits, I've witnessed employees openly arguing with one another about helping customers and each other. One specific young woman (today 5/11) stands out--not for her service, unfortunately, but because she often raises her voice at coworkers, customers, and even delivery personnel from services like DoorDash. There also doesn't appear to be a smooth system in place for managing orders. When the store gets busy, it feels quite chaotic and becomes dysfunction junction. This morning, for example, the employee at the counter seemed overwhelmed and was shouting at guests to use the kiosk, saying things like, "We're too busy to take your order--use the kiosk." She was also dismissive when customers asked questions, though she would sometimes answer questions directed at others. This location has a lot of potential. It gets steady business, and with the right staffing and a focus on customer service training, it could really thrive. I have been coming to this Dunkin for years. I have always loved the coffee and service. However, the service has gotten slow beyond belief. Over the years I have never had to wait more then 10 mins. Plus the counter is so dirty. Right now, there is a stack of paper towels just sitting on the counter while the dispenser is empty. Ioaded the paper towel dispenser myself because it is so sloppy. There are 4 customers waiting in line. There are three staff, one is slowly making coffee while two are in the kitchen. The floor is also dirty, pieces of paper lying around. This store floor has not been mopped this morning. It can't be this dirty this early as most customers pick coffee to go. Customers who came after me are being served. Dunkin' Donuts are great and the service is fairly good. This is the first time where they messed up the order and no one was in the lobby. No donuts to see just on the kiosk. So I ordered from the kiosk. 4 maple and two strawberries. So she went to the back to get the donuts then I went home only to realize I got 4 strawberries and 2 maples. Attention to detail is what I would suggest especially when they expect you to order from a kiosk. read more

While the staff was undeniably polite, my donut dreams were quickly dashed. I bit into one of the heart-shaped treats, expecting something delightful, only to find it filled with custard. As a dedicated donut lover, this was a major letdown. We did grab a blueberry cake donut, which thankfully was yummy and delicious. Gave this location another try and yet again disappointed. This store needs more training. I walk in and it was so many people waiting in line just to order and nobody in sight. The pick up ordered wasn't even place in the correct spot. The guy in the back didn't even peak up front to greet or say he'd be out in a minute or anything. All the seats in the store was on the table so you can't even sit inside. The entire store was dirty. But to my drinks I asked for light ice and they both was filled almost extra ice and on top of that the matcha tasted nothing like matcha. I get this order all the time and it taste spoiled. Maybe the milk was old but I had to throw it away bc it was sour! Paying almost $9 for a drink just to have to throw it away is wasteful. Disappointed with the lack of professionalism I received from this location I received today. I am having a early morning get together at my house so I placed an online order at 8 AM for three dozen donuts to be picked up at 4 PM when I got off work. I paid $65 upfront for three dozen donuts, and was informed by the app I would be able to pick up my order at 4 o'clock. Fast-forward when I show up to pick up my order, the boy at the counter pretended to not know about my order, then proceeds to pick up the receipt with my order on it behind him and says "oh this order? Oh, we don't have any more donuts". I was very confused on how when I placed an order at 8 AM for three dozen donuts they do not have my order ready. They literally had all day to get it ready for me to pick up. Mind you, I prepaid. What is the point of having a mobile app for pick up orders and specific pick up times if your order is not to be ready at that time. I asked them if they thought about calling me within those eight hours to let me know they wouldn't be able to fulfill my order and they looked at me confused, like that was an absurd request. Then they pretty much giggled in my face when I said this was a big inconvenience because I was having a party for my daughter's baptism the next morning and needed these. They then told me I was only able to receive a refund, but they weren't able to give me the refund, I would have to request it through the app. Now I am having to wait for a representative to call me from Dunkin' within two days to give me back my $65. Ridiculous. Update 7/7 almost two weeks later still No refund, I've talked to dunkin on the phone. I've even had someone email me from corporate. Im not going to review the food, since its the same as with any other dunkin. If im in a rush, this is not the first thing that comes to mind. Its a large area, they have the chairs back out now. It feels like an industrial coffee shop. Theres always a table available so which is nice if you want to sit and just enjoy your donut. Cleanliness-wise, there are always spots of coffee on their counters. They have books on their counters- im guessing training books, and a roll of big industrial paper towel They dont have music playing either so its kind of quiet and you just hear the people talking. I think they may be understaffed but i also think that the employees dont like each other. They had a shift change when we were there and the girl that left didnt tell the oncoming boy what she had made before she left she the customer was waiting for a while for the rest of her order. My trust in your brand was renewed the other day, when I visited your Hayward location on Jackson St. It's actually a nice location near the DMV. Too bad the storefront faces away from the street.
