If I could give them a zero star I would. I ordered online and they charged my card and after waiting over an hour for our pizza I called to see where the order was at. They informed me it was "out of their delivery area" even though I have had it delivered twice before at the same location. Truthfully I think it's that when I ordered they close in 1.5 hours and they didn't want to deliver it. Just lazy and unprofessional and they lost a customer. Our usual order is one large pepperoni and ham and one pepperoni and pineapple... Yes, we are that family that believes that pineapple should be in pizza! It was on thin crust which I usually love. But it was over cooked and they but the basil on the pizza before they cooked it, so the basil burnt. This use to be our favorite pizza spot until today. We placed a simple order of 2 pizzas at 630pm, I call at 745pm to ask where it is, they say it's on it's way. Another 30 minutes go by, I call again and speak to an Edgar, that at first couldn't even find my order then comes to tell me the driver is on his way once again. Great customer service from the people taking orders on the phone to the delivery person and manager. Plus the food is great! I order a pizza, baked ravioli & a salad. I did ask for no onions on my salad and they sent one with onions. Being pregnant onions have made completely sick I didn't let her know but they sent a salad with onions. When I called and spoke to the manager he apologized and delivered a fresh salad without onions within 15 mins. Even though my order was wrong the way the handled it and the great customer service plus other amazing food we had ordered just made it a good experience regardless. Been ordering from 101 for years and their food was always good. My kids friends worked there in high school, 8 or 9 years we've ordered from there. Don't know if ownership changed or their recipes changed or just short staffed but their taste/quality has definitely gone down hill the past year. Got a flyer left at our house yesterday so we decided to give it a try. The establishment was clean and the employee greeted us kindly. She asked if we had an questions, and offered a paper menu in case we couldnt see the wall well enough. We settled on a large 3-topping pizza, and a meatball sub. We paid and she told us that it would be 10-15min. We sat in the seating for a few minutes and then decided to go next door and grab a few donuts. Our order was not yet ready when we returned so we took a seat. A customer came in to pick up her order, the young lady charged her, handed her the food and gave her the change. Now, this is where it gets a little uncomfortable, the young lady then went straight back to continue with our food. At no moment did she wash her hands after handling money. A few minutes later she said our order was ready and we took off. Got home and food looked good, so we prayed and dug in. Sadly, pizza looked better than it tasted. The sauce was bland and and didn't taste like much. My husband's sub was ok, he ate it but said that the sauce was too sweet. My boys ate a few bites of their pizza and said they were done (which is unlike them). Overall, we will not be back. Food is not bad, but it's not for us. read more

This was my first experience with Pizza 101. I wanted to try something different and came across their yelp reviews and checked out their website. I ordered pizza and wings for delivery and I was satisfied with how quickly they showed up at my door. When the delivery guy handed me my receipt, I was surprised to see that they charged me $2.25 for delivery. Initially when I looked at their website before ordering, I saw that it said "Delivery, free with $10 minimum order excluding tax." I told the delivery guy about this, and he said he would let the manager know when he got back to the store. I called the store later to address this issue with the manager. I explained that on their website, it clearly said delivery was free with $10 minimum order. He told me that it was a typo and that he let the owner know about it. A typo? Really? I wanted an explanation, and quite frankly, a more honest answer. The advertisement on their website was clearly misleading and they should have honored what it had said. I don't have any respect for businesses who deceive their customers. Its not so much about the $2.25, but about the principle of the situation. As for the food, it was just okay. The pizza and wings weren't hot when delivered, which was surprising when the food came so quick. The pizza wasn't as flavorful as I expected it to be, and the wings could have been crispier, although the sauce they used was pretty good. This is our normal go to pizza place. It's cheap and the quality is decent for the price. However, they seriously need to second think their condiments policy. This may seem silly but we spent over $50 in food and when I asked for cheese they gave me 6 packets. 6 packets for 2 large pizzas, wings, stuffed bell peppers and bread sticks. Oh and only 1 packet of ranch unless I wanted to pay more. 1 packet for 14 wings. And Kens Ranch is horrible. Next let's talk about the stuffed bell peppers. I can't tell you if it's good or not. It can be breakfast pizza, pastrami, BBQ, whatever you can imagine (and tons of stuff you can't) they have a combo for it here. Medium pizza $9. Large pizza $11. Extra large $13. Apps like mozzarella sticks, cheese bread, wings...all about $6. Great proxies and always very very quick on prepping. I don't do delivery so pick up has always been fast and accurate. My family ordered pizzas and cannolis for themselves... and they all got sick from the pizza. The cannolis were the only thing that didn't affect them Vegetables and cheese should not have made me sick. My family's food should not have made them sick. This kid tells me "oh we are busy and they forgot to make your pizza" how do you forget to make an order? "Well orders keep coming in and yours was skipped, so you will have to wait" well I don't want to wait another 45 mins for one pizza. "Oh well do you want your money back" well yes I do! If I'm not getting a pizza then I should definitely get my money back. "Uhhhh well it happens so just wait a min" Most definitely not the way you handle this situation. Yesterday I went into pizza 101 with my husband and my in-laws. And I must say we were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. They go beyond your regular pepperoni cheese meat lovers and Hawaiian pizza you see at little caesars or Pizza Hut. They have 48 specialty pizzas! Different kinds of garlic bread or other breads. They also have pasta , salad , and wings. The wings were good too. We got lemon pepper wings . I docked them one star because I had asked for boneless but they gave me traditional. Pizzas we got : Chicken Western and Meat lovers. I think I loved the chicken western the most. Instead of tomato sauce for the base. They used bbq sauce. So delicious. Definitely will be coming back for more. We also went during a rainy day. And I feel most people want to stay at home and won't go out driving on a rainy day. While I was there they kept getting phone orders and people showing up to pick up their orders. I liked that.
