I was very excited to try Pizza a'fetta after reading some of the reviews and seeing their claim to be 'ranked in top 50 pizza places in the nation'. Had to order through texting. Got confirmation and pick up time right away. Pizza was nice and hot and on time, but disappointing in taste! Maybe this pizza was just not our style. We know and love NY pizza. Crust was lacking in flavor but oddly sweet and it was not baked enough -tasting very much like white bread. One in our group commented that it tasted like making those english muffin pizzas at home. The sauce was a thick tomato pasty flavor with some italian seasonings. Cheese was not all mozzarella and after reading the ingredients saw they mix in provolone... different. I'm usually the one to eat everything just because I hate to waste food, but I couldn't finish this pizza...more just out of disappointment than anything. While eating it, we watched episodes on YouTube of the One Bite Pizza Guy and thought about how he would rate this... probably less than a 2? But I won't take away from those who enjoy it... maybe this is Oregon/PNW typical pizza... just not my type. Still go and frequent this business. Judge for yourself. read more

We were impressed with the pizza, great prices for the area, and the staff were friendly and provided great service.

We couldn't decide what we wanted to eat so settled on pizza. The staff seemed nice and got the order together fairly quickly. The breadsticks were super good, could have eaten that and a salad rather than the pizza. The pizza was quite doughy I don't think it was cooked long enough. Not very good. Obviously they were very busy and so the pizza seemed slopped together. Ordered the Greek salad, and it ended up being mostly a box of just lettuce, minimal feta or any other toppings. Every time I visit Cannon Beach - I get a bite here. My favorite is the crab pizza (seafood on a pizza - lets goo) and the Tuscan chicken pizza - I have never been disappointed. The crust is slightly doughy but there's enough crisp to not make it seem like a ball of dough. Cheese is just the right amount and toppings are adequate. Although Tuscan chicken is olive oil and garlic based pizza with no tomato-based sauce, there's a great flavor to it and has adequate toppings. If you are in the mood for Pizza while you are here - give it a try! read more

We came here for a "linner" and loved it. We ordered the meat lover and cheesy bread, and shared it amongst the four of us. we came in on a very busy monday afternoon for fourth of july weekend. they had the dine-in closed and were doing pizza-by-the-slice orders at the door. ate at a bench right next to the door, in the patio with a couple of other restaurants/cafes. cute area to enjoy our pizza in, with the right amount of shade. the person taking orders was friendly. we ordered the triple cheese slice, the veggie slice, and the meat lovers slice with two sides of ranch. the pizza sauce for all our slices was well-seasoned. the crusts were cooked perfectly. we were pleasantly surprised by the veggie slice! wasn't expecting much, as usually at pizza joints, veg pizzas are just barely cooked veggies on a plain cheese pizza. but the veggies were roasted perfectly, nice and crunchy. each bite was packed with flavor. the meat lovers slice was delish. the bacon bits added a nice crispness and punch of flavor. the ranch sauce was really good! garlicky, creamy, dill-forward. such a great dipping sauce for an already flavorful pizza slice. finished off the cups with the pizza crusts. read more

Not just cheese, but cheese with personality. Wasn't as happy about the veggie... a little lite on the toppings, but still they were all super tasty! We've been coming here for YEARS and on our most recent visit in September it was just as good or even better than previous visits. They did a great job of having to-go COVID precautions. We ordered a Combo Special (Meat); without green bell peppers on half 18 inches and Herb Artichoke (Veggie) 14 inches. It was the perfect amount of food for 5 adults and 2 toddlers. Crust is good. Sauce was heavy on the basil, cheese had a weak pull and was Not Flavorful. I couldn't really say that it tasted like mozzarella, and maybe it wasn't, I didn't ask. However, it was white. The pepperoni was ok, but the sausage was weak and not properly spiced if you like an Italian sausage. Sliced tomatoes were mushy and not tasty. Four years later and Pizza a'fetta is a regular family haunt in Cannon Beach. We call in our order and have a pizza picnic on the beach during the summer months. In the winter, you can have them half-bake your pizza and finish cooking it at your rental property. The Smoked Basil Chicken and Molta Carne are both very good. I like the crust which is usually not too thin and not too thick. The boys also enjoy the breadsticks (four in an order), but the salads are only OK. In the winter, they show movies in the upstairs dining area on occasion to lure in visitors during the slow season. The pizza is on the expensive side, but definitely our favorite in the area. read more

If I could give this zero stars I would. The breadsticks were generic, flat and bland. The pizza dipping sauce tasted like it came from a can and had dried herbs added to it after the fact. We ordered the Thai chicken pizza and it was like they blended peanut butter with curry powder for the sauce, the chicken was rubbery and cold, the vegetables soft and tasted like they had been previously frozen. Walked in to see if they could make a vegan, gluten free pizza, turns out they can! Well, 99% gluten free because of all the flour in the air and slight cross contamination that is expected in that atmosphere. I am not celiac so this works for me. I avoid gluten due to thyroid condition, not to be trendy. Their red sauce has honey it in, so if you're a vegan who does honey, get it. If not, get olive oil and garlic. I added all the veggies, wish they had a vegan cheese but they don't. We got our pizzas to go, I picked up shredded vegan cheese at the Mariner Market and threw it on top, heated it up in our hotel room, so good! It was $73 for two 14" pizzas + tip which is kinda expensive, but when on vacation... The service was friendly and quick. We'll be back for sure. read more

Not enough sauce on the slices and the cheese literally looked a few days old and the slices had been reheated too many times. The Breadsticks were rock hard.
