First of all, I LOVE the fact that when you just want one slice they give you a HUUUUUUGE slice! Their menu is very simple and with traditional pizza pie ingredients. I remember their crust and tomato toppings the most, they tasted so much better than any other pizzas I've tried. Pizzas here are really good, better than most even! Wait service is very speedy and courteous. No bad comments to give about them. The atmosphere is a very family-oriented place. I recently visited this restaurant with my family. When we showed up (a group of five of us) they ushered us to the upstairs dining area. I was glad because the bottom floor looked crowded. The service upstairs was friendly and overall very good. It was much more spacious. I really enjoyed the decor as well, which is why I have posted a picture. Without even asking a server (not ours) saw me taking photos of my family members and the area we were seated in and offered to take a picture of all of us. I thought it was a nice gesture. I wish I could remember his name because I'd extend my thanks and let him know that the photos he took turned out well! Onto the food... I really liked the variety on the menu as well as the way it was organized. They have the menu available online if you care to check it out. We decided on a 1/2 Crab Pizza and 1/2 Italian Sausage Pizza. Our group had no trouble finishing the whole pie. We thought it a bit expensive at first until we saw the serving size. For a group of five, I think $35 for dinner is very reasonable. It was really tasty too. The crust wasn't my favorite but the toppings were great! I really enjoyed my experience here. When it comes to opinions on great pizza pies, it is very subjective to the personal taste. Cannon Beach is not Chicago, New York or any other place for that matter; nor should it be. That being said... Great pizzeria on a super stormy night at The Beach. Warm atmosphere with tasty aroma filling the intimate restaurant. We ordered the Montrachet pie: (a sauce that is garlic, olive oil, and sun dried tomatoes), Mozzarella cheese, sun dried tomatoes, fresh mushrooms, Roma tomatoes, Montrachet cheese, topped with dried Greek oregano and dried Italian basil. The Crust was fluffy and light. The pie was quite delicious. Seeing the other yelp photos, I need to try the crab pie next time. Very recommended pizzaria. We will return on yearly visits. read more

Missed out on this place last year and made it the first place for dinner this year. They are busy but way worth the wait! The server was very friendly and the pizza would have been fine but the crust was way under cooked and basically eating half raw dough in places. We probably could have asked them to toss it back in the oven but not worth the effort. By far the best slice of cheese pizza I've ever had in my life! The whole wait was super patient as my group tried to figure out something that would all appease us. We eventually went with the pesto breadsticks and individual slices of pizza, both of which were phenomenal. The atmosphere is super cozy and inviting, and our waiter was fantastic! It's the crust, bland and not fermented long enough since it really has no flavor to it. It doesn't have that chewiness that makes pizza great either. It's more like white bread. Just okay. The pizza is the soggy type if that is what you like. But you have no choice on a Sunday night at 8PM. They only have medium and large pizza. FWIW, we selected the takeout service. Called in, they had problems making adjustments to menu items. My girlfriend got the gluten-free Smoked Basil Chicken, which she enjoyed, and I got a regular Molta Carne. Both orders were ready within the time given on the phone at the pick-up window. Overall - really tasty! Sure, the pizza is a little bit more expensive than you'll get elsewhere. If you want a pie for $11.99 that tastes like soggy cardboard and deep regret, order from Pizza Hut and rethink your life. The pies were about $23 each but definitely worth it for the taste. We just moved to Cannon Beach and I was really looking forward to this pizza place. The reviews were great. They described the pizza crust as fluffy and light. The pictures looked wonderful. Our pizza was not that. It was soooooo greasy. The crust left a solid, dark, circle of grease that soaked through the box. I am not talking grease spots. I am saying it was a solid circle of grease under the entire crust! I have never thrown out leftover pizza before. Finally got into restaurant at 46 minutes. Luckily, the rude lady was not our server. We had a nice and very sweet Columbian girl. She didn't know much about the menu or drinks but helped anyway. This is seriously the best pizza I've ever had in the past fifty years I've been on this planet. My family often drives over here from Portland just for this pizza. Everything about it is top notch. The crust is rich and fluffy. The tomato sauce is delicious. The cheese is scrumptious. And the pepperoni is thin and sweet, not too spicy. It all adds up to a delightful combination of flavors. I think one of the basic edicts of running a pizza joint, is you should taste it once in awhile. The crust is obviously pre-made, possibly even frozen, first hint is that it is a perfect circle and a mild attempt at thawing, which explains the undercooked crust. HORRIBLE SERVICE! We have been coming here whenever we are in the area over the last 29 years. We had asked if they could not put pepperoni on just a small area. They said not possible. I was not asking to pay less I just wanted less so my son could eat a slice. Then the cook, a shorter white male, said no only half and half. He said not possible for him to skip a slice without pepperoni. The manager just looked and said nothing. Pizza was undercooked. We ordered 2 xl pizzas. Bad pizza. I love pizza, I'd eat it for every meal, but not this one. Came in and off the bat the place is dusty and grimy looking. It was honestly just gross, the least they could've done is dust once in a while. We were starving so whatever let's try it. Server came over cracked a few awful jokes and sat us. Gave us menus and walked away for less then two minutes then came back and immediately asked what we wanted. My friend and I got an iced tea and it was so cloudy you couldn't see the ice. Tea should not be that color. I got the meaty pizza or whatever it's called, and it was smothered it grease, yet somehow, only lukewarm. My friend's pizza was not good and her crust was hard. My other friend got the veggie pizza which was cold and looked like it had been heated up and cooled back down who knows how many times. We finished very quickly considering all we each got was a slice and it took forever for a server to acknowledge us and bring us our bill. In conclusion, do not go here.
