The food was fresh and "okay". I think they value their food more than it is worth, but if you are hungry it works! Staff was friendly and restaurant clean. Set up is more for to go orders than eat in although they do have a couple places you could sit. I have been wanting to try different pizza places around where I live and having tried many local places I decided it was time to quit and stick to mellow mushrooms since its consistent and has better quality than most! BUT I was wrong when I tried Pizza Bella! Their pies are solid in taste, texture and quality produce is being used! As much as I like the toppings I always tend to judge the pizza by the taste of the base. Theirs has a good taste and i am the one who usually leaves the crust aside. But not on this one. It tastes fabulous if you dip it with olive oil and salt. I had their half Swoop and half buffalo chicken and they both were delicious. Also, I like good wings and the wings here are not too oily and greasy and at the same time they have healthy amount of meat on it. Fabulous! The wing sauces dont taste industrialized and feels homemade. I ordered over phone and it was ready for pick up in 15 minutes. You will see me again pretty soon...or may be tonight again! read more

A++ Gourmet New York grade pizza. You can't find pizza this good in the bigger cities and I'd challenge any other pizza joint in town to come close. Fresh, in house made pizza dough, all ingredients are fresh, wholesome, and organic friendly. The menu is fantastic, the place is quaint but so "hip" it will make you just want to "hang out" and soak in the ambience. Pizza Bella has been fantastic. I live within walking distance of that shopping center and it's very convenient for me to stop at after work. So far I have ordered 3 things from them since they opened, all pizza. I was very impressed by the pizza. It was the "thin pizza" (I don't know all the technical terms for pizza) type of pie, with a thin later of crust and a thin layer of cheese. It was cooked perfectly and the temperature was perfect by the time I got home. The cheese tasted delicious, the pepperoni was exactly what I expected out of pepperoni, so it was good. What I love about Pizza Bella's pizzas is the faint garlic flavor that they seem to have over the whole pizza. The crust has a similar garlic bread kind of taste. I ate the entire small pizza and felt very satisfied - and it didn't make me feel sick afterwards! The one thing about Pizza Bella is that they are a little bit pricey. But if you want GOOD pizza, and you're willing to spend $2 or $3 more, Pizza Bella is a great new place and you should check it out. read more

There was a slight mishap that led to a late delivery, but the food made up for it. I ordered from grubhub, and it seems they just entered my phone number without checking my address. As a result, the delivery driver was sent to my last address rather than my current one. So it ended up taking over an hour to get my food, which was a little disappointing. The medium pizza we ordered was delivered within 40 minutes, plus we ordered a salad. (A Tuesday night). First off..the delivery person gave back wrong (less than) change. We gave a $5 tip on top of the delivery charge of $2.50... Our total order was 31.46 plus the tip we gave. The pizza crust tasted frozen, not fresh as advertised.. but the toppings were ample and tasted fresh, especially the mushrooms. The salad dressing tasted like anything but blue cheese & was runny, and we had paid an extra .50 for an extra dressing...We probably won't order from there again, but at least we gave it a try. My brother introduced this place to us! We are from NYC, so finding a pizza spot with a taste of home is difficult. This spot has been the closest so far. You can get two slices and a drink for $7!!! They have multilingual lunch specials that you can choose from. The slice was a decent size and the crust was amazing!!!!!! I wanted to try something different with having so many pizza places in Atlanta, but I quickly figured out this was a mistake when ordering from Pizza Bella online. I placed an online order which was confirmed through an email. When I showed up for the pizza, they didn't have any order connected to my name. Upon telling them it was an online order, they figured out no one picked up the order up from their printer which prints out all online orders. After waiting another 30 minutes for the order to be completed, I got home and it was completely wrong. They didn't seem apologetic, more frustrated that none of their employees picked up the order from their printer. This experience alone will be my first and last experience with Pizza Bella. There are just too many other good options for Pizza in Atlanta such as mellow mushroom or fellinis that do not mess up orders in this manner. The pizza was very greasy and just didn't match up to the quality that is marketed through their website. They shouldn't have online ordering if they can't properly support this system. Unfortunately, will not be recommending to friends or coming back for pizza again. read more

Okay. I forgive you, Pizza Bella. I received a response to my last Yelp review from Doug at Pizza Bella. He informed me that they had to limit their delivery area to a 2 mile radius because the cost of delivery insurance was so high. I ordered some pizzas for take out from Pizza Bella last week and everyone went crazy over it. The first time we ordered from Pizza Bella was out of convenience. We ordered from Jaggers a lot and loved their wings - they were always perfectly crispy. Now here we have PIzza Bella and the first time, it was awesome (or maybe just awesome because of the surprise at hot, yummy delivery). We got cheese bread with garlic and their fries. The fries were over seasoned but the next time we just asked for less seasoning and they were wonderful. Well, the fries were really good the 2nd time and the cheese bread a touch burnt and the wings weren't even slightly crisp. The fat was chewy and it was just not good. So, we tried it again and asked for extra crispy and of course less seasoning on the fries. Yay! The fries as always were surprisingly great - not soggy like you'd expect from delivery. So, this last time we ordered, I'm pretty sure they either got a new chef or just completely shit the bed. Our cheese bread with garlic wasn't all melty and gooey. It was as if it was sitting out for a while before they delivered it. To add to that, the garlic was completely raw. I'm guessing it was sitting out and they threw on garlic and maybe put it in the oven for a few. The garlic chunks were huge - as big as teeth, raw and rendered the cheesy bread inedible. The wings were okay but didn't arrive hot. The sauce for the wings was spilled everywhere in the container and so the wings were soggy. Finally, the fries. I'm not sure what they did to them. They weren't soggy like they'd been sitting in the container for a long time, they were kind of hot, but they were chewy and greasy. Almost like someone just put them in below temp oil for a while? I dunno, but the last order was such a complete disaster that I'm not ordering from them again. read more

I visit my daughter in Atlanta once a month or so and at least one night is Pizza Bella night even though its a 15 minute drive each way to get it. Between the pizza which is as good as I've found and the spinach salad which is awesome its worth the drive. I have pizza lots of places and always compare to Pizza Bella. I find very few to be as good and only one that I thought was better, but that was homemade by a friend of mine who makes a mighty mean pizza every week. Not everyone likes the same pizza, but there is no way you won't be impressed by the spinach salad. Definitely worth a try. The crust is just the right mix of thin and the edge is airy and crispy. From the outside Pizza Bella blends in amongst the shops at Sage Hill. However, there are few pizza joints in Atlanta that can compete on flavor and fresh ingredients. When I lived over by Emory I made this a weekly staple. The pizzas are always delicious and the wings are true standouts. The pizza is generally quite good: unique combinations of toppings and nice amounts of cheese and garlic. Unfortunately, service is extremely inconsistent. Employees often seem bothered by customers, food takes forever (especially for any form of delivery), and they often leave out important parts of orders. I'm an idiot. I ordered for delivery on line and wrote the wrong address and mistyped my phone number. I also ordered under the minimum delivery price. Not only did they deliver it anyway, but were super cool about my mistakes. The customer service is top notch and they're become my go to delivery choice. The pizza is very good too. The crust is thin, crispy but not brittle, and the sauce tasty. We were hungry for some hot, fresh, cheesy, pizza--the kind that is so tasty, you want to just savor every bite. And oh, yeah, we wanted it to be real food, not packed with sugar or other fillers to bring up the flavor. We found it at Pizza Bella! Judging from it's location, we didn't know if we'd actually gone to the right place. The sign up front said "Jagger's". Once inside, we realized this new place is still so new, we discovered it before the new sign is up! So, they are still in the process of fine tuning things. The crew is helpful, friendly and eager to please! The price was certainly good, and most importantly the food was really THE BEST! The pizza crust was perfect, not too thick, not too thin, just right--and oh so delicious! The toppings were all plentiful, and the vegetables really, really fresh! Not only were we pleased with the pizza, but the salads were just as satisfying! I had the Greek Salad, served with the chef's own dressing, which was to die for! I even spoke with him, and told him I could drink it, it was so good! My husband had the Bella Salad, and he was happy with it, too. We ate every bite, including every morsel of the unexpected, but unbelieveably wonderful bread served with our salads, another extra touch from the Chef. I wanted more, but didn't ask for more, because I knew that our amply prepared pizza was on its way to the table! And we were not disappointed! Boy, was it superb! We could not have been more happy with the overall experience. We especially enjoyed seeing the creative menu full of a wide variety of choices. I order from this place often. I placed a order for pick up and it took 25 min. I arrived and the kitchen completely forgot half of my order. I was also charged ($15) with a "new fee" to my order of 12 wings, when clearly there is a set price. Bad communication and they blame the customer for their error. The crust was the only plus about the pizza. We got the "big fat Greek" pizza and it was salty because they put too much feta. It would have been better it it was a "Gyro" type pizza without the olives and with a dipping sauce of tzaziki sauce and hummus as a base sauce for the pizza. The cookie was not very good at all! I've worked on Briarcliff & just recently started finding lots of restaurant jewels. Pizza Bella is my newest jewel. I ordered a simple cheese pizza and it was amazing. The crust is hands down the winner! The cheese and sauce were close seconds. I loved that there wasn't too much sauce. I added a Caesar side salad and was pleasantly surprised. I have ordered from Pizza Bella via GrubHub several times now. Each time it has been great. The Asian wings are my favorite! Wait no, the cinnamon rolls are my favorite! Wait...no...the fact that the delivery woman remembered that I had 2 (bad when there's a knock at the door) dogs and brought them treats was my favorite! That really impressed me and my dogs would give Pizza Bella 5 star review too. I got the sweet spinach salad and the small was still big and so good! The sandwiches are different...but amazing! This is the most incredible local pizza place in the Emory/Druid Hills area. Their Greek sub, wings, and pizza are incredible. FRESH ingredients. My only complaint is delivery time. It takes them an hour plus to deliver in a one mile radius. I'm not too mad though bc they are short staffed and kind. To preface the review... I grew up in the northeast and NY Pizza is as good as it gets IMO. My wife loves pizza but is gluten intolerant. I noticed this place opened in the location formerly occupied by Jaggers, which was a slightly above average Pizza joint for Atlanta. Upon checking it out I found they had a GF personal pizza I ordered in a GF for the wife and regular for the kid and I. The GF was very good and the regular was outstanding.
