    Bacon pizza

My cousin has a thing for pizza so when he visits Atlanta, I know we're grabbing pizza. The places we've been have sucked. Pizza Bella is easily the best pizza ATL has to offer. It's a small place, only a few tables inside. Crispy, airy crust. Affordable, lots of options. Had a small bacon pizza which came with full strips (WIN!) and lots of cheese. I also got a gyro wrap which was equally as cheap and tasty. I'll take my cousin and he'll be so happy. The woman behind the counter was kind and attentive. This is where you want to get pizza. I'll be back.

Hands down the best pizza place in the area. You can definitely tell that the owner has spent time in Europe. Not only does he serve exquisite gyros (we call them "kebab" in France), but he also masters the art of pizza like only a few others in the city. His pizza dough is fluffy, aerial and tanned to the perfection in his brick oven -- and here, I have to say that he knows his oven and how to use it. I have been disappointed in the United States by Italian places bragging about their brick ovens, but the owner of Pizza Bella has proved that with passion and talent, you can bring excellent pizza to this city. He is always accommodating to special requests and the food he serves is always worth it. The service is fast, friendly and makes you want to spend some time in the restaurant. The prices are more than reasonable, adding that he proposes a discount for Emory students and employees. A very special mention to the Margherita. This is the original pizza everyone should try when they come to a pizzeria for the first time. Pizza Bella's Margherita is topped with a delicious homemade tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella and fresh basil -- do not hesitate to ask for extra fresh basil, added after the pizza went in the oven. This is how you recognize that this place is most definitely the best food spot in the area. I honestly have no negative points to add, this spot has become my favorite. I only wish that people come and spend some time in the restaurant -- TVs are on for sports, but I would recommend to take your time to discuss with the owner, who is a great host and deserves all the best for this small family owned business.

Pizza Bella is always the best! It's placed right next to the Kroger off of Briarcliff in Druid Hills. They have a great variety of pizza and great entrees/ side. We typically get wings and a pizza from Pizza Bella. The wings do not disappoint !! I am a huge wing lover and Pizza Bella's wings are in my Top 3 for favorite wings. Their pizzas are always great as well. The dough is typically cooked perfectly and tHe toppings taste nice and fresh. We usually pick our order up from the restaurant.(Im not a huge fan of delivery) The inside is well taken care of and the employees are kind/ welcoming. I'd say the wait time at Pizza Bella is your average Atlanta Pizza wait time. But luckily if you go pick it up and have to wait you can always go get some groceries right next door at Kroger. If you haven't tried Pizza Bella yet please do! It definitely is worth the try.

If you want an authentic Neapolitan style pizza, this is the place. The owner is a really nice guy who knows how to make the perfect pizza pie. He uses a brick oven which adds a nice char to the crust. It takes me back to my trips to Italy. This is definitely my favorite pizza spot in Atlanta. I cannot enough good things about this place. I just hope you can try it!

This pizza is so delicate and delicious, the Gyro is savory and nummy. The garlic sauce is really good. The chef was very friendly, talkative and prompt. This pizza is definitely a must if you wanna eat like a Viking on a budget!

Ordered 10 wings: half buffalo-lemon pepper/half lemon pepper, 5 wings in Korean-buffalo with a side of chili cheese fries, and 2 Coors Banquets (cuz we're classy like that. Food came out probably 15 min after and I was ready to dig in. These wings were pretty hyped and with anything popular, I'm always worried I'm going to be disappointed. But OMG these wings are worthy of their hype. The flavor of their sauces is incredible and they hit that desired balance of crispy and juicy. The meat falls off the bone. Tell you what, I'll definitely be back. I've also heard great things about their karaoke nights so that's going on my list as well

The wings were all well seasoned, and even the dry rub wings didn't taste dry. It tasted tender and juicy and I've never experienced that before with dry rub wings. We ordered the lemon pepper buffalo wings, buffalo wings, and Korean bbq buffalo wings and a side of fries. Our favorite was the buffalo wings. It had the right balance of juiciness and flavor. I wouldn't recommend the Korean bbq wings since it didn't have enough tangyness to it and didn't stand out. The French fries are a must order. The fries were so crunchy, and they were still crunchy even towards the end when we were almost finished eating. We arrived 30 minutes before they opened on a Friday and there were already people waiting in the lot which was crazy! It started raining while we were waiting in line and the line got even longer. If you're planning to try The Local, I would recommend coming on a regular weekday or come earlier if you're coming on the weekend because the line is crazy. There is some seating inside and outside the bar. We got there early enough to swipe a table. There were people standing and waiting for a table while waiting for their orders. Service was excellent! Tables are first come first serve. Plenty of parking in the back parking lot. I wouldn't wait in the rain for this but it was definitely worth a try!

I can't speak to how busy it is during peak hours but 4pm was a great time to visit! Not too busy at all. The service was great, we sat on the patio, our waitress was super attentive and sweet. I had the frozé cocktail, husband had a beer. Good drinks, nothing crazy to note here. Let's talk about the food: The battered mushrooms were amazing! They were big mushrooms, with a tasty batter, and horseradish sauce which was interesting to pair together. I had the slice of pizza, it was huge, I love that you can add toppings, it was fresh and tasty, the crust was DELICIOUS. My husband had the stromboli which comes with a side of marinara sauce, which I had to steal some for my pizza crust, it was such tangy and bright marinara, the Stromboli was loaded with filling and cheese, it was so delicious. Overall this is a cool spot, I would absolutely come back! It's a relaxed vibe, great food, and great service.

That's heavy praise. I came here with an Atlanta native and she knew what to do, what to order, what to drink, and where to sit. If you come here as an out-of-towner, you need to come with a native. They know how to navigate these waters. Being a bar, I needed to start with a drink. No need to be cute. Go with an easy well and keep 'em coming. For me, that meant rum & Coke. No surprises. Decently strong. Moderate ice. Every time. Done. Knowing that a liquid diet of this sort (with work in the morning) was a bad idea, my colleague opined that we needed food. The menu is very large and I didn't know where to start. She did -- and did. We ordered wings and fries. But these weren't your big chain wings and fries. The wings -- because we're in Atlanta -- were (of course) lemon pepper. They were meaty, seasoned (!!!), fried just hard enough to have crisp & snap, and (best of all) were not dried out. Atlanta knows how to do wings. The fries were of the shoestring variety but they were flavored with bbq seasoning. Crazy.Good. I couldn't stop eating. I think we went through three orders.* And that was a good thing because while others were hung over the next morning, I was dewey fresh. *It wasn't just the two of us... but it could have been.
