Pizza was terrible. Not going to try it again. I am from NY tho. If you're not, maybe you can eat this. It was impossible to pick up and eat like pizza. It was entirely soggy. I went over to Kroger and came back 10 minutes later. Still crickets. I have called and emailed them. My card was charged yet I have no pizza and no refund. We stopped in at Pizza Bella for takeout after work. This pizza joint is conveniently located off of Briarcliff and Claremont Road near Emory University. We just moved into the neighborhood and are always on the lookout for a reliable neighborhood pizzeria. Pizza Bella is the first added to our list. I was able to order a 100% Vegan pizza with Spinach and portobello Mushroom as my toppings. The wife ordered a meat combo pizza with spinach and a Caesar salad. My pizza was excellent and the customer service was solid. We will definitely be back as this is in our neighborhood. read more

Terrific French fries, but alternately tasty and disappointing sandwiches. By now two out of three sandwiches have been disappointing, though, so that's the bias I am writing with today. Their sandwiches are definitely a good value; particularly with fries. One order of sandwich and fries is enough to feed the two of us. Eating even half of one such order feels very indulgent, both for the likely density of calories and the impracticality of eating a "sandwich" with an exterior invariably covered with garlic butter or oil. The chicken Parmesan sandwich was the best of the three we have tried, though the amount of chicken is a bit scant. Flavor-wise, though, it was good enough that we would definitely order it again. I was excited to try the Bayou Bella sandwich, for the sausage advertised in its contents. Once I got home and opened up the sandwich, though? No sausage in sight. The resulting sandwich was bland and unmemorable: chunks of dry chicken drowning in mozzarella. The shot caller sandwich sounded promising from its description, but man the wilted hot iceberg lettuce inside the sandwich was really off-putting. We have also ordered wings, which I did like! Their food score is a B. I went the first time and the guy cooking my food wore no gloves. I watched him reach and grab a handful of RAW chicken wings drop it in the fryer, turns around wipes his hands on the towel.. ( he didn't wash his hand) grab my celery sticks and ranch. He goes back to the wings tossed in sauce and drop it in the to go container. I felt bad because I dont like confrontation and ended up tossing it w/out eating it when I got back to work. I also watched the cook scratch his lower back with the same hand before he grab the wings from the fryer. I gave them a second chance yesterday bc I was in the area and it been awhile figuring.. maybe new cook? I was terribly wrong, I found curly pubic hair on my food. This time I had the balls to ask for a refund & The guy had the audacity to make it seem as I was making it up and I literally had to point it out then he gave me a refund. I must say, I'm going to rank this pizza among the best I've had in Atlanta. New York style--large slices with a just-right crispy-ness to the crust. Fold it and eat. The sauce was just right. Not too heavy on the cheese. Simply delicious. And apparently they deliver. (We saw the delivery fellow set up his automobile and take off with a stack of pizzas.) Pizza - we made our own pizza: tomato, beef, sausage, peppers, etc. Damn, it was good. I would get the same combo if I could. In fact, I would when I come back. The crust wasn't burnt and done well. A co-worker said it was a great place to check out, so I gave it a try. Wow. You know those episodes of Man v. Food where right away you know Adam Richman is having second thoughts at the start of a challenge? When my food came out, I got that feeling. Opted for the combo and had the Super Greek with fries. Easily enough food for two but I foolishly attempted all of the sandwich and took my fries with me. Tasty, crisp vegetables with a decent amount of feta and gyro meat. Dressing was tangy too. What knocked me out was the bread; it's essentially a rolled-out pizza crust, baked golden and then folded in half. Service was good but the wait was a little longer than I was expecting. Only one or two tables occupied when I first got there but the kitchen was pretty active and only got busier as more people came in. Lots of folks coming in to get to-go orders or picking up carry-outs. Had to wait 20 minutes for a sandwich, but considering it was made fresh and tasted superb, I can't be that upset. I think next time I'd call it in and wait before going to pick it up. Space was a little cramped, so I wouldn't bring a group here necessarily. I enjoyed their slice of plain cheese pizza - a first for me in Atlanta. Slices are available only at certain hours - in time for lunch. Service was nice and helpful. Pizza was super-thin and a nice, generous size. Sauce was good, and crust was nice. My only complaint: pizza was a tad too salty for me. I'm not sure whether this was a one-time thing, or if, like some people, they just like more salt in their food. I think another reviewer wrote she's had salty food here. This is our new favorite pizza spot. We had the Choke It pizza - artichokes, spinach, ricotta and garlic. It was delicious. The crust is golden and chewy, but not as hard or chewy like Mellow Mushroom; it's way better. The toppings are just right - not too generous, not too little. It only took ten minutes to have our pizza made. We went on Saturday for lunch, and there was no one else there. No one even made a phone order. Our neighborhood pizza place, and we love them! We just tried one of the sandwiches a couple weeks ago on a whim and they're amazing! Imagine your favorite sandwich but instead of regular boring bread replace it with pizza crust that has been perfectly toasted! Totally noms! The pizza is good standard hand-tossed pizza. The topping options are quality and generous. We appreciate the half and half options for toppings since my son only eats pepperoni pizza while we like a bit more variety.
