The good: the pizza here is incredible especially if you like thin crust pizza with a little char. I love that they also bring marinated olives to start. Yes, it's more than the Pizza Bruno on curry Ford, but the pizzas are huge. The unfortunate: the service was insanely slow even with only two other tables and the servers seemed to be doing their own thing. At one point I chuckled after being g blatantly ignored for so long. The wine list is pretty sad and overpriced for the wines they offer. Would be great to see sangria or something on the menu. I'll be back because, again the 'za. Entrance/Ambiance: Across from Albert Park in the College Park area. Most likely will have to do street parking, which may take a few minutes to find during peak dinner hours. I went on a Friday evening. Smaller venue, with some limited outdoor seating, but a small bar area which is perfect for single people such as myself. Interesting purple and pink lighting with a touch of red logo neon signs throughout. Food: Be aware, the menu on the website isn't up to date, so the plan I came in with was for not. I made the tough decision to get the Spicy Stetson pizza over the Big Buffy pizza. It consist of fresh mozzarella cheese, extra pepperoni, Calabrian chilies, ricotta, and Mikes hot honey. Each pizza pie is 16" and cut into 8 slices. The spice is subtle, but on the backend of the bite. I didn't quite taste the hot honey as much as I would have liked to, which was disappointing. I needed that to be the star. Much bigger than I anticipated, can be shared amongst two people comfortably. Service: The bartender was attentive and honest in helping make my pizza choice. However, when I visited today shortly before 8:30 we were basically turned away when we were met with weird glances and the host immediately asking the kitchen if they were done for the night & if they could accommodate us. I came into this review excited to be heading to another Michelin recommended restaurant, especially since I had such a magnificent experience a couple weeks ago at the fabulous Bacán in Lake Nona. I gladly drove the hour and a half from my beachside South Brevard home to Downtown Orlando. Upon arrival, I respected the sign that advised, "Please Wait for Host." I waited... and I waited. And. I. Waited. Finally, after standing there alone for what was probably only about five minutes but what felt like an ETERNITY (especially with all the employees just staring at me), a guy walked up, and without greeting me, without apologizing for my wait, without acknowledging my reservation-- even though I had forked out a $25.00 reservation fee--muttered, and gestured unceremoniously, "Sit wherever you want." The location is a catfish. I was expecting something swank and fancy. But no. The décor invoked Pizza Hut circa 1980. My waiter, introducing himself as Josh, took my order and disappeared. Never to be seen again. Mind you, I am the ONLY customer in this supposedly fine dining establishment, and I had to PAY to make this reservation. The cook, such as he was, brought out my food: For my appetizer, I ordered the Fried Clams, which were spoiled and inedible. For pizza, I requested the Court Street Specialty Pie. Special it was not. For pasta, I chose a Sausage & Broccoli Orecchiette. It was over-cooked and improperly drained, the entire plate swimming in fetid pasta water. On the bright side, my Brussels Sprouts were inoffensive, which is why I am generously granting a single star to this Michelin imposter. I waived my credit card imploring loudly, "May I have my bill, please?" Instead of Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizzas, they serve crispy South Jersey style 'za's. Plus, they offer pastas! I love how they put a twist on some of their best-sellers we know and love, like the garlic knots, Ghost and KBAR pizzas. What we ordered: Fried Knots with "too much garlic"...no such thing in my book! I loved the crunch of outside with the soft and gooey-ness of the inside. A must try! Spaghetti cacio e pepe - Super cheesy in the best way, and the perfect al dente. Calabrian buffalo wings - I'm not a huge buffalo fan usually, but these were very good! The fresh house ranch dipping sauce was dill-forward and fantastic. Kook in the line up - South Jersey style that's nice and crispy. I loved the freshness of the basil, sweetness of the pineapple (without being too much like you'd find on a Hawaiian pizza), and Nueske's bacon (IYKYK) Soft serve swirl of vanilla and mint chocolate with sprinkles hit the spot, cooled off my mouth, and was the perfect end to a fun date night. Terrible experience. Arrived around 6:45 and we came in through the back door, which did say employees only but an employee let us in. We told them this as we walked in but that didn't stop the sarcastic comments being made about us coming in the back door. The place seemed empty, a couple of tables being used inside and a couple outside. Waited a bit longer than expected to give drinks order, that should have been clue. An hour later and no pizza. We were told 7 minutes 15 minutes ago. Asked for it to go and another 10 minutes later we got our order. 2 pizzas, one was burnt and the other was so "blonde" on the bottom I'm surprised the cheese was melted. What a treat! If you haven't tried Pizza Bruno you're missing out. This was my first time after several recommendations from friends and coworkers. The gentleman at the register was very kind and friendly assisting in different areas of the restaurant and making sure we were well taken care of. The food quality and flavors were *chefs kiss*. I never thought I needed a pizza like the spicy Stetson in my life until I tried it. It has a blend of mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, extra pepperoni, Calabrian chilies, ricotta and hot honey. I've never tasted such a combination of flavors that I'm still thinking about, and planning my next trip. You can tell there's love in the kitchen coming from those chefs in the kitchen. And don't get me started on the kale salad and fried knots. I haven't fought over the last bite this much with my partner in a long time!! Called at 8:28pm and was told the kitchen conveniently closes at 8:25pm even though they're listed as open until 9pm online. Then was told if I was a guest dining in, they only seat until 8:15 and anyone coming through the door after that time will be turned away, unless ordering drinks only. Won't be coming back. Picked up a green salad and pepperoni pizza. Pizza was crisp and hot, with the right amount of toppings. The salad was good as well.

My only complaint is they don't let you pay with cash, you're forced to use a credit card or debit card, and for people like me who do not carry a debit card, only cash and an American Express card and Discover I was forced to pay an additional 3% for using my credit card. The staff is very friendly and the menu is nice, it is a bit pricey for a couple slices and knots for 2, my bill was $33.46 before a tip and the Mikes Hot Honey was an additional $2.00 up charge above and beyond the $33.46. The slices are just average size, I kind of expected a little larger sized slice for what they were charging... The pizza is very thin and good, it wasn't the "best" pizza I ever had and not one I would go out of my way for. The fried garlic knots were very good and I would recommend trying them if you stop in, warning they have a great amount of garlic on them and I liked it. We usually in a pinch use one of the top pizza delivery brands but this time we wanted "Real Pizza" with "Real Ingredients". It's shocking that the big guys don't use Real Cheese. We have been here once before and dined in and the atmosphere is super cute (College Park Location) and you can tell the employees are treated very well seeing how that care is extended to you. Everything we ordered came timely and delicious. The Calamari was out of this world. The Margarita pizza and the Brussel Sprouts are also delicious. We picked up this time and it was just as good. The service was the best thing about this place. A girl with longer blonde hair was our server and she was fantastic! This place was so good when they first opened, but not so much anymore. I wish that they weren't so complacent. There are so many other restaurants to go in the area, so a lack of food is not the issue. Unfortunately, we will be dining somewhere else next time. For the price, not worth the visit. The service was the biggest drawback Primarily, while the location was not particularly busy, our waitress rarely visited our table. When she did finally speak to us, the kitchen could not prepare half of the menu. Food took so long our waitress voluntarily cancelled food from the kitchen - without asking if we were willing to wait - and the kitchen further delayed our available orders. a far fall from grace... pizza bruno used to be such a good spot in college park. i like their pizza, but it doesn't feel worth it anymore. now they're slow in service, mess up each order (salads instead of garlic knots is cruel) and don't offer refunds, not answering their phones, and also they got rid of my one true love (the ghost pizza).
