Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford is my favorite pizza spot in Orlando. It's locally owned, and the original Curry Ford location has always been the most consistent. With full service and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a place I find myself coming back to often. They have a takeout section as well. The vibe I would say is eclectic. The famous knots with the kale salad are a must. Add any traditional or specialty pizza, and you've got an incredible meal. Mondays are even better because they offer select whole pies for $10, such a great deal for a quality pizza. I've tried other menu items, but I always come back to the pizza, kale salad, and knots. That's what they do best in my opinion and it's exactly what I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.
Had a few new-to-us pizzas on our last visit and had to share! Of course the garlic knots remain a highlight and some of the best in Orlando, and we never skip them! This time we also got a NY style pepperoni, and it was awesome! Just as good as the woodfired pizza and a great size to share. We also got the lover boy blue, and the blueberries with the burrata and bacon made for an amazing unique flavor profile! It wasn't too much or too heavy which we appreciated. Love it here so much!
I want to start by saying my experience is based on a takeout order but the trip from the restaurant to eating was only 5 minutes. We've lived in the neighborhood for a while and have heard so many good things about this place. We were in the plaza and decided what time is better than the present. We ordered a pizza, 2 types of wings the lemon pepper and dry rub bbq. We also got the garlic knots as suggested and they lived up to the hype. They were the highlight of this meal. The pizza in concept looked delicious but the toast did not match. I saw a crispy crust as that's my favorite part which was nice but the actual pizza did not impress my pizza lover husband and he's not hard to please. It also wasn't hot kind of like it needed to cook more on the actual pizza. The wings were the most disappointing. The lemon pepper wings did not give lemon pepper at all there was just a strange brown oil. The bbq rub wasn't very flavorful either. They were seasoned nicely but not like the bbq flavor you'd expect. Overall this was a pretty mid experience. We may give it another try one day and eat in the restaurant but definitely won't be in a rush to do so. On the bright side the staff was super nice and helpful with suggestions.

Got to experience their pizza making class for a team event and everything was so great! The food was amazing but the pizza class itself was so much fun. Chef Bruno was enthusiastic about his craft but made it easy for everyone to make their own pizza from start to finish. The meatballs were good but the kale salad was the talk of the night!
After reading all the wonderful reviews I was really looking forward to trying pizza Bruno and our family of 12 drove 45 mins to try it tonight ! However I was disappointed that a piece of black hard plastic was found in our kale salad (we let the staff know immediately and showed them, and they apologized) - I totally get that accidents happen w food prep- but I would have expected them to comp our salad at the very least (our meal was $350). the garlic knots and pizza were truly really good otherwise but the response we got w the plastic in the food- left a bad taste in my mouth
Absolutely delicious! I wanted to find a nice outdoor patio that I could enjoy a pizza with my dog and I'm happy I went to pizza bruno. As soon as I sat outside, somebody greeted me. I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. Looking over the menu, I wasn't really sure what to get and our server recommended the tight socks, pizza and the garlic knots. She definitely pointed us in the right direction. I absolutely love the garlic knots although I wish they tasted a little bit more fresh and warm- the garlic taste was out of this world. Once I tried the sauce, I knew pizza was gonna be great (and it was!) I decided to also put in an order for the meatballs. The meatballs and the pizza came out there roughly around the same time. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and would 100% come back. Next time I want to try to dine inside too.
Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was pleased with the pizza but not the wings. So the positive first, we got thin crust pizza and it was really delicious. The wings were supposed to be hot honey but they were plain. On top of that they were barely fried. Truly disappointing. I can't speak on ambience or service because i ordered takeout.
I haven't been here for 5 years! Will not give less stars because of the ambient, but they DEFINITELY needs to upgrade their place! It's a small place, doesn't accept cash, expect to have long waiting time during peak hours, as it's an small place. They do offer an to go option that's where the restaurant get busy! So, if you go to eat there, expect 45 min to your pizza during busy time. It's an family business, their price are Really REALLY FAIR for what they do offer, can even remember where I Paid 1 DOLLAR FOR AN APPLE JUICE FOR MY DAUGHTER! So if you like REAL pizza, go there, my only advice it's their sauce it's salty, so chose carefully your toppings, I like Margherita, but if you add olives or salty toppings, could be too much. Also their garlic knots (if you like garlic) are awesome! Really affordable place, with good Italian pizza, comfy place (just need some improvements inside)
We arrived around 5:45 and were seated at the far end. Others arrived after us and were waited on very quickly. A male server walked by several times but didn't pay us any mind so maybe we weren't his table. We waited almost 10 min with no acknowledgement from anyone. My friend finally went up to one of the girls who seated us to ask about getting waited on and then she finally came over to take our order, trying to hide her attitude. The full Emperor salad was huge, delicious and came out quickly. The pizza was fairly quick as well but it hardly had anything on it and it was $23!! You can even see the sauce in several spots without cheese, i was lucky if I had one piece of sausage and 1-2 mushroom slices on each slice. My friend's pizza has quite a bit on hers though. We had to ask for more tea and weren't asked if we wanted any dessert. I would come back for the salad and the garlic knots looked amazing but I'll be getting my pizza elsewhere.
My husband and I came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy! We were seated quickly though and were served by a super friendly waitress. The restaurant has dim lighting and is loud at the time of day we came, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We ordered a 1/2 order of garlic knots ($7) and a pepperoni and chill pizza ($17). The garlic knots are AMAZING. Definitely worth the garlic breath. The pizza was also really good, I loved the fun combination of flavors you get with pepperoni and chill. My husband and I left feeling full and satisfied!
Best pizza in Orlando! We have only done take out but absolutely amazing. Compares to pizza we have had in Europe. Staff is great and pizza is ready when they say it will be. The atmosphere inside seems like a great place to dine in. We are going to eat there next time! Dirt Nap is our absolute favorite!
Pizza Bruno was pretty good. The garlic knots are actually really good as well. Make sure you get the pizza BEFORE the garlic knots or else I feel as if you will numb out the taste of the pizza because they garlic knots are flavor intensive! I had a good experience and my server was really on the ball for how young she said she was! Hard to find those kinds of tentative people! The patio looked nice, but it was a little too cold to sit outside. I would return!

Not sure Why this place gets so many great reviews. Horrible experience tonight. Got right in @6:50. Took 15 minutes to take our order. Then didn't get our pizza until 8:00 pm. Server was beyond slow!! Ordered garlic knots, these were great. Ordered wings, order came with 3 ($11.00) and they were plain and so so. 3 personal Pizzas, a Bianca with an add of meatballs ($4.00 up charge) got 1 meatball on the whole thing and as the picture shows it came with a salads worth of arugula. Insane. Pepperoni pie was burnt. Unsweetened tea $5.00 each for a bottle you get at wawa for $1.89. From the small local vibe to the delicious authentic food, and then wrapped up with great service, we were very content with our experience. I've heard so many good reviews from this place and the pizza was extremely good and cooked to perfection. I did have a very picky eater at our table and we didn't know the pizza sauce included slices of garlic spread through it. So, if you decide to take a picky eater they may not enjoy that, but overall the pizza was extremely good and the crust was spectacular. read more

Found this place just driving by. We shared a half salad which was so big we took some home. Very fresh and tasty! This place is known for their garlic knots and marinera dipping sauce. It's smothered in a garlic paste but goes fantastic with a soda. For the main course we shared a 12" pizza with meatballs (the kbar). I highly recommend it. We will be back for sure read more

Didn't get a great photo but the food, vibes, service and music can't be beat!! A 20 minute Lyft ride from the hotel but totally worth it! Would go back and order all the same food! Especially loved the honey mustard wings and the garlic knots! read more

Great service, great food, and nice location! Ordered the bucatini, the margherita pizza and the meatballs. All were great. The meatballs I highly recommend as an appetizer. Very efficient kitchen. Those guys were working HARD on a Sunday evening. Will definitely visit again. read more

This place has been getting so much talk that we decided to check them out on a Saturday. If you're in a hurry then this isn't the place for you. We had a 45 minute wait but it moved fairly fast. Also the waiting area is outside but there are benches and picnic tables to sit on. Waiting gives you a chance to look over the menu. Half of the interior is the kitchen and prep area and the other half is the bar/restaurant. It isn't terribly big inside but it's just right. I would not suggest this place for a date night. You literally cannot hear anyone. It's loud! My son enjoyed the music that was blaring over the speakers though. Our waitress came over with water glasses and a carafe of water and took our orders fairly promptly. I ordered the garlic knots, a glass of their house red and the Roni pizza. My friends ordered the roasted cauliflower and the Margherita pizza. The knots and cauliflower came out first. Lord have mercy! Those knots were literally orgasmic! Holy moly! I mean I scared a lot of vampires away but who cares! Lol! They were soft and chewy and loaded with garlic. The sauce was good that accompanied but it wasn't needed. I tried my friends roasted cauliflower and it wasn't my favorite. Cauliflower had too much of a burnt taste and wasn't so sure about the sauce. Tasted like 1000 Island dressing. There were other appetizers that I will try when I come back like the meatballs and sauce. Pizzas came out nice and hot. The Roni was good but had almost a little to much of a kick of pepper. If you're ordering this for kids they may not like the spiciness of this pizza. Loved the crust. Wasn't that thick pan pizza. Nice and thin just the way I like it. Pizza was ok. Nothing mind blowing but it was good. They have a Sunday brunch that I will be back to try mainly because I need those garlic knots in my life. Lol! Definitely check this place out. My wife loved the garlic knots! When we asked for extra sauce? The response was "Bruno is very firm on that the sauce cost extra." I get that everything cost money but.....c'mon. Pizza was ok but not the best I have ever had....it could just be me. read more
We've been coming here a lot recently and it's definitely some quality Neapolitan style pizza! First off, the Kale Salad is by far the best I've ever had. You need to try it, it's huge. We ordered the Half ($8) and you could probably go with the Mini ($6) for two people. For pizza, The Crimson Ghost ($15) is a perfect pizza. Not too big, perfect for sharing with one person, with huge slices of Soppresata, and Hot Honey for a sweet and spicy kick. Our server brought us a complimentary order of marinated olives that were delicious as well. Wash it all down with a few Ravenous Pig Ales and you're living life right. read more

Like everyone else, I really dig the garlic rolls. They are delicious. The pizza is also really good. I have so far tried the basic marinara a few times, and it is always been good. I will eventually try the other specialties, but I am a fan of basic cheese pizza, so.... yes, in the future, I will try the other ones. Another reason I like Pizza Bruno is because they have good beer on draft, meaning local craft beer. I heavily follow the local breweries, and I prefer any craft beer over a Bud. Not over bud, though... I haven't had dessert. The staff is pretty cool, the kitchen is a bit weird, but whatever, they make good pizza so make it with a happy face or a sour face, I don't fu*king care (that's very NY, right? What do you know?). So, love it, leave it, I like it, no problem. read more

How doesn't this place have 5 stars? My favorite pizza joint in Orlando. Vibes are great - love the coloring pages all over the walls and the 365-day christmas lights. Now, the new outdoor seating is superb. I would happily wait multiple hours for a spot. The crimson ghost pizza is a fan fav, and I love the classic margherita as well. Plus, the garlic knots - DUH. Best garlic knots of all time. Patiently waiting for pizza bruno to blow up like foxtail has, but then again, maybe it's best that they just have their one, quaint location? So happy Pizza Bruno is still open during quarantine! We live over by Sea World and we placed a pick up order through the Caviar app! We drove downtown and our pizza was ready. They have a great set up with one person outside taking orders and grabbing the pick up orders. Staff was super friendly (as always!). Saw this place on TikTok and decided to go for dinner with a friend. They open at 5PM on Mondays and it was very busy at 7:30PM. We waited about 10 min for a table inside since it had rained. The patio didn't have dry available seating. We ordered the Garlic Knots and received the last order for the day. They were killer! Our server informed us it was Margarita Monday which means half off Margarita pizzas. We customized ours to resemble the specialized pizzas we were thinking of ordering. We both tried one of the ciders they had on the menu from Portland Oregon. I'm from Portland so I was exciting to try it. Read the can and found out both the ciders are from Washington. Not sure why they published them as Oregonian, sort of a bummer. The vibe of the restaurant is PNW. The food took a while but it was expected (they have a call out on the menu telling you to expect it). Overall good pizza but not great. I'll give it a second chance. read more

We have been wanting to try this place since a friend posted on her stories a while back. We finally made it to this side of town. Let me tell you it is totally worth it! The garlic knots and sauce was amazing! My husband really loved the fact it had olive oil mixed with it instead of butter. The pizzas were really good too! This place has fantastic 'za. I visited yesterday, and can confidently put this in my top ten pizzas nationwide ever. It's simply perfect - sauce, pepperoni, crust. Not currently. We are opening in a few weeks with a limited menu available on Uber then eventually in house.

Unfortunately, they no longer offer takeout on their website or any delivery services. When we want takeout, we go there, order what we want, have a drink at the bar, and wait.
Would this place work for a monthly meeting of between 6 and 15 people on a Saturday evening? Is it too noisy? Is there a back room?
They're pretty busy on Saturday evenings and honestly it's probably too loud if your meeting involves extensive conversation. Spacing is also tight - I don't think they could accommodate 15 people without advanced notice. There's no back room that…
