Pizza Bruno on Curry Ford is my favorite pizza spot in Orlando. It's locally owned, and the original Curry Ford location has always been the most consistent. With full service and both indoor and outdoor seating, it's a place I find myself coming back to often. They have a takeout section as well. The vibe I would say is eclectic. The famous knots with the kale salad are a must. Add any traditional or specialty pizza, and you've got an incredible meal. Mondays are even better because they offer select whole pies for $10, such a great deal for a quality pizza. I've tried other menu items, but I always come back to the pizza, kale salad, and knots. That's what they do best in my opinion and it's exactly what I'd recommend to anyone visiting for the first time.
Had a few new-to-us pizzas on our last visit and had to share! Of course the garlic knots remain a highlight and some of the best in Orlando, and we never skip them! This time we also got a NY style pepperoni, and it was awesome! Just as good as the woodfired pizza and a great size to share. We also got the lover boy blue, and the blueberries with the burrata and bacon made for an amazing unique flavor profile! It wasn't too much or too heavy which we appreciated. Love it here so much!
I want to start by saying my experience is based on a takeout order but the trip from the restaurant to eating was only 5 minutes. We've lived in the neighborhood for a while and have heard so many good things about this place. We were in the plaza and decided what time is better than the present. We ordered a pizza, 2 types of wings the lemon pepper and dry rub bbq. We also got the garlic knots as suggested and they lived up to the hype. They were the highlight of this meal. The pizza in concept looked delicious but the toast did not match. I saw a crispy crust as that's my favorite part which was nice but the actual pizza did not impress my pizza lover husband and he's not hard to please. It also wasn't hot kind of like it needed to cook more on the actual pizza. The wings were the most disappointing. The lemon pepper wings did not give lemon pepper at all there was just a strange brown oil. The bbq rub wasn't very flavorful either. They were seasoned nicely but not like the bbq flavor you'd expect. Overall this was a pretty mid experience. We may give it another try one day and eat in the restaurant but definitely won't be in a rush to do so. On the bright side the staff was super nice and helpful with suggestions.

Got to experience their pizza making class for a team event and everything was so great! The food was amazing but the pizza class itself was so much fun. Chef Bruno was enthusiastic about his craft but made it easy for everyone to make their own pizza from start to finish. The meatballs were good but the kale salad was the talk of the night!
After reading all the wonderful reviews I was really looking forward to trying pizza Bruno and our family of 12 drove 45 mins to try it tonight ! However I was disappointed that a piece of black hard plastic was found in our kale salad (we let the staff know immediately and showed them, and they apologized) - I totally get that accidents happen w food prep- but I would have expected them to comp our salad at the very least (our meal was $350). the garlic knots and pizza were truly really good otherwise but the response we got w the plastic in the food- left a bad taste in my mouth
Absolutely delicious! I wanted to find a nice outdoor patio that I could enjoy a pizza with my dog and I'm happy I went to pizza bruno. As soon as I sat outside, somebody greeted me. I appreciated it because I wasn't sure if I needed to go inside to let somebody know I sat down. Our server was super friendly and even offered a water bowl for my dog. Looking over the menu, I wasn't really sure what to get and our server recommended the tight socks, pizza and the garlic knots. She definitely pointed us in the right direction. I absolutely love the garlic knots although I wish they tasted a little bit more fresh and warm- the garlic taste was out of this world. Once I tried the sauce, I knew pizza was gonna be great (and it was!) I decided to also put in an order for the meatballs. The meatballs and the pizza came out there roughly around the same time. The meatballs were so great. I even forgot to take a picture. The outdoor patio at the time was very quiet and conveniently shaded because of the time of the day. Although I can't say that the chairs were the most comfortable for a pregnant woman, I did really enjoy my time outside with my dog. Overall, I was extremely impressed with the food and would 100% come back. Next time I want to try to dine inside too.
Tried this place for the first time tonight and I was pleased with the pizza but not the wings. So the positive first, we got thin crust pizza and it was really delicious. The wings were supposed to be hot honey but they were plain. On top of that they were barely fried. Truly disappointing. I can't speak on ambience or service because i ordered takeout.
I haven't been here for 5 years! Will not give less stars because of the ambient, but they DEFINITELY needs to upgrade their place! It's a small place, doesn't accept cash, expect to have long waiting time during peak hours, as it's an small place. They do offer an to go option that's where the restaurant get busy! So, if you go to eat there, expect 45 min to your pizza during busy time. It's an family business, their price are Really REALLY FAIR for what they do offer, can even remember where I Paid 1 DOLLAR FOR AN APPLE JUICE FOR MY DAUGHTER! So if you like REAL pizza, go there, my only advice it's their sauce it's salty, so chose carefully your toppings, I like Margherita, but if you add olives or salty toppings, could be too much. Also their garlic knots (if you like garlic) are awesome! Really affordable place, with good Italian pizza, comfy place (just need some improvements inside)
We arrived around 5:45 and were seated at the far end. Others arrived after us and were waited on very quickly. A male server walked by several times but didn't pay us any mind so maybe we weren't his table. We waited almost 10 min with no acknowledgement from anyone. My friend finally went up to one of the girls who seated us to ask about getting waited on and then she finally came over to take our order, trying to hide her attitude. The full Emperor salad was huge, delicious and came out quickly. The pizza was fairly quick as well but it hardly had anything on it and it was $23!! You can even see the sauce in several spots without cheese, i was lucky if I had one piece of sausage and 1-2 mushroom slices on each slice. My friend's pizza has quite a bit on hers though. We had to ask for more tea and weren't asked if we wanted any dessert. I would come back for the salad and the garlic knots looked amazing but I'll be getting my pizza elsewhere.
My husband and I came on a Thursday night and it was fairly busy! We were seated quickly though and were served by a super friendly waitress. The restaurant has dim lighting and is loud at the time of day we came, but we were still able to hold a conversation. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. We ordered a 1/2 order of garlic knots ($7) and a pepperoni and chill pizza ($17). The garlic knots are AMAZING. Definitely worth the garlic breath. The pizza was also really good, I loved the fun combination of flavors you get with pepperoni and chill. My husband and I left feeling full and satisfied!
Best pizza in Orlando! We have only done take out but absolutely amazing. Compares to pizza we have had in Europe. Staff is great and pizza is ready when they say it will be. The atmosphere inside seems like a great place to dine in. We are going to eat there next time! Dirt Nap is our absolute favorite!
Pizza Bruno was pretty good. The garlic knots are actually really good as well. Make sure you get the pizza BEFORE the garlic knots or else I feel as if you will numb out the taste of the pizza because they garlic knots are flavor intensive! I had a good experience and my server was really on the ball for how young she said she was! Hard to find those kinds of tentative people! The patio looked nice, but it was a little too cold to sit outside. I would return!

YESSS to amazing pizza and more at this gem. We were on vacation in Orlando and really craving Napoli style pizza. So what do we do- turn to yelp! We found this place and it so lived up to the hype! We came on a busy Friday night and had to wait about 45 min for a table (they don't do reservations), but it was wellll worth the wait. The place is small but super charming. Definitely a a homey spot. Service was fast and great. The star is the fooooood! The garlic knots- legit the best I've ever had. The meatballs were perfectly juicy and saucy, the kale salad was an excellent fresh bite, and the pizza- wow! All spot on, I loved every bite. I would highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again on my next vacation. read more

Traveled two hours to check them out on Super Bowl Sunday. We had the Octopus App & it was 5 Star. Wife had the Margherita & she gave it 3 stars due to too much outer crrust for a 12" personal pizza. I had the Ninety Two & it was 5 Star for me. The craft beer selection is good. I tried the Golden Ale & it was smooth. The Cannoli Sundae with Vanilla bean gelato was Amazing! Enjoy! read more

I can't give this place any less than 5 stars simply due to those garlic knots. Oh. My. God. If you love garlic, it's a must try. I could have eaten the entire order, but unfortunately I had to share and also keep my dignity intact. I ordered the Margherita pizza just because it's always a safe first time pie. In retrospect I wish I got one of the cool pies! My friend is vegan and got the vegan pizza and she loved it. Next time I'll definitely get the Hawaiian! My pizza was delicious. Perfect amount of cheese and sauce, and not over cooked like some other higher end pizza spots are so guilty of. It's a solid restaurant, and everyone in your group will be able to find a perfect pizza for themselves! There really are a lot of great options. I paired my pizza with a brown ale. They have a wide array of craft beers, which go perfectly with their pizza, and aren't wildly priced! I finished my meal with the Nutella cannoli, wow. I'm not a chocolate person and it was absolute perfection. I highly recommend this place, and I WILL be going again! read more

Been here a handful of times and I have never been let down. They serve some of the best, unique, and delicious pizza I've ever had. The service there is top notch each time I've went they have been very nice, attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu. You pretty much can't go wrong with any of the pizzas they have. My favorites are the Tight Socks, Crimson Ghost, and KBAR all are very good and definitely worth ordering. A definite must order is their garlic knots they are soooo good and just a heads up they do sell out of them. If you looove garlic then these are for you (be prepared to have garlic breath the rest of the night lol). They also have beer, wine, and some specialty cocktails. Overall Pizza Bruno is one of the best pizza spots in Orlando just be aware that sometimes they may have a long wait but trust me it is well worth the wait. read more

Used to be one of our favorite places. Seems like they are inconsistent since opening their second location. Pizza was burnt to the point the crust was inedible. Totally ruined the taste. Meatballs tasted like reheated leftovers. Definitely a bummer. Server was nice though read more

My wife and I visited Pizza Bruno for lunch yesterday and tried the Garlic Knots, Kbar Pizza and Nutella Cannoli. The Garlic Knots were highly recommended by our server so we were convinced to get a few. The knots were crisp on the outside and densely doughy and starchy on the inside. A thick layer of flavorful garlic and pecorino cheese sat on top of each knot and was paired with a lightly sweet marinara sauce. The Kbar Pizza was delicious with gooey mozzarella, fennel spiced Italian sausage, tender mushrooms, and flavorful garlic on a soft thin crust. Finally, we couldn't leave without trying the Nutella Cannoli. Sweet creamy Nutella infused filling was filled with chocolate chips and crunchy almonds and sat inside a crispy cannoli shell. The restaurant also had a solid selection of local craft beers. Overall, Pizza Bruno serves good quality flavorful pizza. read more

If you're looking for speciality incredibly delicious wood-fired pizza, then look no further! These pies are will bring hearts to your eyes and love to your heart. But! First up: Garlic. Knots. These babies are loaded up with garlic, parsley, butter, and amazingness. Marinara on the side ready for dipping. They are always the first thing I order. Do yourself a favor and get some. All of the pies I've tried have been amazing. You really can't go wrong. If you follow them on Instagram, you can find out about their special off the menu pizzas. For example, they recently had a one-day special for a Thanksgiving Pizza. Yes, you read that right. They also serve up local beers and a variety of wines to quench your thirst. TL;DR - Overpriced and overhyped. Minimal parking - you might have to park across the street at the bank. For its price, Pizza Bruno is just okay. A $16 pizza shouldn't be flimsy and soggy like a wet noodle. The flavor was slightly lacking, but a sprinkle of salt brings it to where it should be. Based on so many glowing reviews, I also ordered the garlic knots. Pricey at $9, but thankfully very good. Normally I find it redundant to eat garlic knots and pizza, but pizza has so few traditional side items, and I do enjoy a good garlic knot. Honestly not sure how soon I'll be back, especially with Jets not being much farther away. Maybe designer pizza just isn't my thing. read more

I came here with friends on a Saturday night and was completely blown away! Their pies are all speciality, unique and so delicious! We decided to order garlic knots and 3 pizzas for the whole table - The Crimson Ghost, Blanca and the K. McCallister. The Garlic Knots are a must have! The best garlic knots I have ever had in my entire life! They are bigger than most places usually have and they are definitely not shy on the garlic, and I'm okay with that! The pizzas are also something to talk about. I will say they a little pricey for the size, but made oh so tasty and fresh. The Blanca was something I usually wouldn't order as I am not a fan of white pizzas (no red sauce), but I actually enjoyed it. The lemon ricotta was a nice touch. My favorite of the 3 was definitely the K. McCallister because well, cheeeeeseee!! The customer service her was outstanding! They helped us get the whole order together so we can split the bill amongst the 8 of us. I know that can be a bit annoying to deal with but, the servers graciously assisted and showed much patience as we got it together. Here's what I've got for you... there is a LOT of hype with this place. We're going to have to try again to see if we hit it on an off-night or something. We've tried to visit a few times, but the line has been insane. We don't do that sort of wait. There was no visible wait tonight and several spots in the lot. All good signs. We asked how long for a table for 2 and were told 20-25 minutes. This was highly inaccurate, as it took an hour to get a table. Not even close. It was brutal because the place smelled SOOO good that we were blasted by awesome smells each time the door opened, yet we got no food. To be fair, they did come out and offer us a spot at the bar about 30 minutes into the wait. The bar is microscopic in size and was packed. No thanks. We decided to wait for a legit table. We were hungry when we arrived. We were STARVING by the time we got the table. Reading the reviews here, we decided on garlic knots and two pizzas. We knew that was too much, but then we could try two things and have some tomorrow. Two people only need one pizza here if you order some knots. We had a theme at our dinner. Burn victim was that theme. The knots lived up to everything here, except that two of the four knots were BURNED. Not a little charred. Not crispy. Flat burned. They covered the burns with delicious garlic/cheese/oil goodness. Not a chance I wanted any of that action, but my wife is more open to it.. She ate around the worst of it. The non-burned knots, the flavor, and the INSANELY GOOD red sauce were great. The burned ones we'll call below average. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. Tick-tock. Tick-tock. *tumbleweeds* Ahhhh... the pizzas finally arrived. It was quite a wait. I didn't time it, so I won't say a guess, but it was the culinary version of a pregnant pause. We expected something to happen, but it just hung there. Nothing. For a bit. Quite a bit. My pizza appeared fine. My wife's was hit with a flamethrower. Another burn victim. Like not a little burned. Look at the photo. That's a bit excessive on the burn. We seriously wonder if we got the rookie cook or something. This place gets insanely good reviews and we got MEH. The other thing was topping distribution. It was almost drunken in appearance. No consistency and it wasn't even. I had the Crimson Ghost and my wife had the 'Roni. Some of my pieces had a TON of honey and were VERY sweet. Some had none that I could taste. One slice was perfectly balanced and the flavors were great together. It's a darn shame the entire pie wasn't like that piece. It's supposed to have chilies, hot soppresata, fresh mozzarella, basil, and honey. I didn't catch any chilies and the soppresata wasn't hot or spicy. It was very mild, even on the piece without any honey taste. The good piece was really good. I'm curious if either of the two pieces I brought home are like that one. Maybe I'll be lucky? I just was a little deflated that there was ZERO oomph/heat to this pizza. None. It was tasty, but fell flat because I was expecting some punch and got a vague fanning hand gesture instead. My wife's 'Roni was more evenly balanced, but she still did a little topping shifting. Hers had garlic, oregano, pecorino, pepperoni, calabrian chilies. Her pie had a tiny bit a heat. Mostly, though, it was overly salty. This place is hot right now, but we had to have visited on rookie night or something?? Right?? I was thinking we'd walk out excited, but we walked out shrugging our shoulders instead. Do a better job at packaging delivery orders that you know are being left at peoples doors. This salad container doesn't even seal properly and it's sitting on the floor with easy access to bugs. I've always received order in closed bags. This is disappointing. read more
It was National pizza day and what better way to celebrate than dinner at Pizza Bruno. My husband and I have been to their spot at Orange County brewery but finally tried out the original location. We arrived for an early dinner and there was a bit of a wait, but they sat us sooner than they originally promised. The place is small but cozy. There's a small bar as well. My husband and I tried a couple beers. They have some local beers on draft ( red cypress, cigar city, Mia). I also tried a margarita which was yummy. For apps, we couldn't say no to the garlic knots. They are the best knots ever- baked to perfection with sooo much garlic goodness. (The knots at the downtown brewery location were good too but these seemed better... though maybe it was just that whoever made these knots were extra generous with the garlic butter). My husband and I split the ninety two pizza. The crust is great- not too thick. I loved all the toppings on the pizza, especially because I really love mushrooms on my pizza. My husband and I finished all our food- it was that good!! They also have a dessert menu but we skipped that. Our server did a great job- got our food and drinks quickly, answered our questions, good service. Regarding the downtown brewery location, the menu there is limited. But they do have the crimson ghost pizza on the menu and that one is fire! My husband and I will definitely be back. Pizza Bruno has some of the tastiest pizza in Orlando. read more

I've had this place bookmarked for the longest time due to the amount of hype it gets from local foodies. I saved this for a special occasion, so I took my girlfriend here for her birthday dinner. I'll make a note in here that I have been to higher end pizza places and was expecting at least that with good delicious pizza. I will just say, that everything here was definitely sub-par and not as good as what it was hyped to be. We looked at the menu and the octopus caught our eye so we ordered it right away while we were looking at the rest of the menu on what to order. That will easily be the best thing that we had. It was nice and hot, while the salad it was on was cold. It was very tender and a nice taste. We waited a while for our octopus to come out and immediately after the octopus came the garlic knots. We had just gotten the octopus so we did not have a chance to even try the garlic knots. Then immediately came the pizza. By the time we got to the knots and pizza, they were all cold and the dough was SO TOUGH, difficult to chew and not even enjoyable. At the end of the meal, forcing to eat the pizza and garlic knots, my jaw was sore from trying to chew it so much. Not exactly sure if it was just because the dough was not fresh and the knots had been sitting there for a while, or what, but I won't be coming back here for the overpriced mediocre pizza. read more
I have to admit I was expecting a bit more from this place, given the hype, but while the pizza looked authentic, I didn't find anything remarkable about its flavor or consistency. It struck me as odd that the basil was applied before baking, resulting in burnt leaves. However I did love the kale salad! It was a perfect combination of a house-made Caesar dressing, plus little crunchy and sweet elements. I also liked the cauliflower appetizer, although be warned that the sauce is very sweet. It's almost dessert cauliflower. The place can get quite loud, because the floors are concrete, and there are no soft surfaces. Service was excellent. read more

When I bit into the pizza I had a "ratatouille" experience bringing me back to Italy. The pizza was fantastic and one pizza can handle two hungry grownups or one starving individual. We were sat down immediately and the hostess was awesome. Definitely a place worth trying out if visiting as well as if you're a resident. read more
WOW. Everything I tried was amazing. I have officially found my go-to pizza spot. There are about eight tables inside but the food comes out rather quickly so if there is a wait, it's really not that bad. You must try the garlic knots. A basil pesto is piled high on the rolls. Oh my gosh. They are incredible. I got the margarita pizza and my boyfriend got a BYOP -- build your own pepperoni. Both were outstanding! I LOVE the coal on the bottom of the pizza. It's made like the pizza in Naples, Italy. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and filling. Oh, as if I didn't eat a truck load, the waitress convinced me to get the dessert pie to go. So glad I did! It's Nutella, strawberries, and almonds on dough. YUM!! In short, GO. I can't wait to go again. read more

I love love the lemon ricotta! We had the Blanca and added pepperoni! I was a little sad they didn't have bacon however they didn't have bacon which was super surprising! I would say the flavors were very good and hot the spot. The dough is a bit smaller and not as thick as some places but it hit the spot. Super busy so go early! The garlic knots weren't as cheesy as I had hoped but super garlicy! A little pricey for pizza $18 for a 12 inch pizza. read more

Unfortunately, they no longer offer takeout on their website or any delivery services. When we want takeout, we go there, order what we want, have a drink at the bar, and wait.
Would this place work for a monthly meeting of between 6 and 15 people on a Saturday evening? Is it too noisy? Is there a back room?
