This is one of my most favorite pizza joints! Known for their enormous garlic knots and bold Italian flavors pizza Bruno is hands down the best pizza I've had in Florida. Crimson ghost is usually my go too, with a chopped salad or the roasted cauliflower to start, but honestly I've never been disappointed in anything I've ordered. They don't have a phone, so if you want to order Togo you need to do it in person or with Uber eats. Great weekly specials and an amazing brunch menu. When pizza Bruno was brand new it was probably the best pizza in Orlando. But sadly every time after has gotten worse and worse. I used to be a huge fan but today's experience put the nail on the coffin for me. My husband and I ordered their pizza and wings special and it was TERRIBLE. Pizza was cold. The wings were god awful. They had a fishy seafood taste and smell, on top of swimming in literal oil. I was like; they USUALLY never mess up on their Kale salads. One of my personal favorites before. But we received barely chopped kale and dressing. And maybe saw a few toppings. So sad that what was once our staple now has become a place to avoid. read more

Place has good pizza and salads. Overpriced but the food is good. I went to check in, waited 5 minutes and then some guy that worked there squeezed past me inside to go outside and was very abrasive about telling the people who were waiting outside something. I've been searching for a great Italian and pizza restaurant since I moved here two years ago and a friend recommended Pizza Bruno. The calzone was incredible and it's the best pizza I've had in years. The pizza margherita is the closest to the authentic one they serve in Italy that I've found in Florida. What can I say about Pizza Bruno that hasn't already been said? All I can say is that the hype is real my friends. This place has amazing pizza - the dough is the perfect density and consistency and has a great chew, they have inventive toppings (brussel sprouts or clams anyone?), and the perfect ratio or dough/sauce/toppings. 5 stars for some pretty damn good pizza. I've been hearing about this place and been wanting to try it out. I came in on a Thursday and they had a $4 draft special. Bad news: only 2 beers on tap. Good news: they're both local craft beer. They got a decent selection of wine and lots of craft beers available in cans. They also do make cocktails. I ordered the G&B. It has guiancale, local blueberries, fontina, cheese, rosemary and maple syrup. I tend to always got for the weird toppings. Overall it tasted pretty good and I wish I ordered a normal pepperoni pizza. The crust is what really stood out. Super soft and the pizza was so good, I couldn't just eat one slice. We got an order of vegan knots, and no one in our party was exactly fighting for the last one. The sauce tasted straight out of the can, and the knots had way too much parsley and the garlic was straight up BURNT. Our pizza was the Viva Verde, and it was just okay. We swapped kale for arugula, and it felt like I was just eating bread and arugula. It was everyone's first time eating here and no one wants to come back; we just weren't impressed, especially with how expensive it is. I'm from Jersey and an amazing Neapolitan pie is hard to find anywhere in the south. Via Napoli in EPCOT comes close, but Pizza Bruno hands down is the best I've tasted in Orlando or the South for that matter. I prefer a traditional margarita pie, the mozzarella was perfect and fresh and it was perfect on the light delicate gravy/tomato sauce. ¡Bellisimo! I'm basing this rating solely on the pizza, the meatballs over polenta were good but the polenta too soupy for my liking. Next time I will try the garlic knots as well. What has become a new trend that I find disgusting is when in electronic payment the server auto selects the tip for you, in this case he chose the highest option of 25%. Cute little local spot...we ordered the garlic knots which were huge and tasty....the kale salad mini size served 2 but I wish I would've ordered the half because this was truly my favorite dish of the night the meatballs with lemon ricotta is a combo not for everyone...my daughter was a fan and I was not plus they came out lukewarm instead of piping hot. The last thing we ordered was the tight socks pizza which was tasty but def not worth the price for the size pie which was small....I'm a NYer so for $16 I better get a good slice. Pizza Bruno is an unexpected, "I'll do it my way" type of establishment. Their crown jewel, in my opinion, is their Garlic Knots. They are mouth watering, soft on the inside, but cooked thoroughly and to perfection, topped with the perfect amount of butter garlic goodness. I would come here just for that menu item. A characteristic they are also known for is their "we don't have a phone" feature. That's right, you cannot call in a to-go order, call to see how long the wait is, call to see if the venue is open (I got burned on that one, drove over there on a Friday night, walked up and noticed a sign on the door that said the venue had been rented out for a private event. While it was nice to learn that this was an option, it was disheartening to know I couldn't get Pizza Bruno that night!). So be prepared...there is no phone and I don't think they have plans to get one. Recently, they have added some privileges for all the phone addict, don't want to be bothered sitting and eating a meal in the restaurant, preparedness lover types out there - online ordering and Uber Eats! And you can make a reservations for parties of 8 or more in advance as well as organize rental of the space for a party. Good move PB! Each time I have been there, I have had to wait about 40 minutes. They bar is small and the bartender has about 100 other task to cover other than bartending. However, for some reason, this doesn't upset me. It shows that this is a small establishment, they work as a team and clearly their business is thriving! Service is on point, very laid back kind of attitude. Their hires are consistent with their company culture I would venture to say. And the pizza....I am a plain Jane type of gal who like the classics so I go Margarita every time and it's fabulous. The crust is the best element of this pizza. Arrived here around 700 pm on a Sunday night and there was a 45 minute wait so we decided to order takeout . I asked what the most popular pizzas were and were told the Margherita and one with Soppresseta. We lucked out and a table opened up so once we sat down we each got a cocktail . Almost instantly our food came out . We all liked the Margherita pizza it had a great crust kind of crispy but light and airy . The Soppresseta pizza was a little sweet prob from drizzled honey and I guess I was expecting more spice . The garlic knots were delicious loaded with tons of garlic and a delicious red sauce on the side . The house salad was good wish there was more cheese . They waitress was so kind ans thanked us for staying And brought us out a mozzarella tomato salad that was deliciously drizzled with balsamic . The food was good but a little pricey . Ch, ch, check it out! This newer addition to the pizza world is a welcomed addition that does not disappoint on its execution or quality of food product. The pizzas are thin as I love them! The food quantity and quality ratio were on point for me, so that is a huge plus. I ordered the KBAR, which was an excellent combination of flavors on a white pizza that included Italian sausage,garlic, mushrooms, and a rosemary sauce of some kind. Very savory and made me smile. Friends ordered make your owns and they were equally pleased. We shared the knots, which were 100%! I thought by the size I would have none left, but those knots filled me up, which meant leftovers!! The only negatives I would say are 1. it is that it is stupid loud in there...they need to get that under control, because they tends to make me want to stay away, 2. no reservations, and 3. not open for lunch. read more

A must for vegans and non-vegans alike. I can't believe I've never heard of this place- what a cool vibe for a wood fired pizza joint! Imagine if a mills/50 hipster created his own pizza bar/restaurant... with craft IPA beers on tap, and freshly baked garlic knots that would satisfy a CANADIAN-sized "munchies" appetite. Yep, Cheech and Chong can't even imagine how tasty they are. Location wise, it's not ideal to be off Curry ford road but the patrons don't seem to care, they come for the home-town feel of the place and of course, the delicious guilty-pleasure "Za". (Cause pizza is so un-cool to say ;) ) Try the cauliflower, it's way better than any cauliflower you've baked At home. There's kids artwork on the walls and some of it is pretty funny! It does have a more casual feel, but with amazing food. If you are like me and can't get enough garlic, You HAVE to start with the garlic knots. They are loaded with garlic. Follow it up with the kbar pizza - double garlic! If you want to start with some greens, the kale salad is surprisingly delightful. Ive also had the cauliflower appetizer, the octopus app, and the pizza with blueberries on it. Sounds crazy but it really works! When I was there this past Sunday night, they had some seasonal drinks so I had to try them. Both made with champagne, one has cranberry ginger, and the other had white balsamic and grape.
