Thank you thank you Pizza Collective for having gluten free pizza dough AND vegan cheese. I really appreciate that because it's somehow hard to find both. Now, can you please train your staff better, and have gf and df pizza slices available? Because it requires quite the patience to order the pizza and then to wait for it. And then it costs a fortune, of course. But I do it! Because it's definitely one of the better gf/df pizzas I've found. So I'll be back. But I'm still praying that one day, ONE DAY, I'll walk in and there will be a section for all of us gf/df folks, and there are a lot of us! In fact, it took me a long time to even walk in because I didn't realize you even had options for me.

I was here with my friend to grab a quick bite after watching a movie in the evening. The pizza was good, the staff were nice. I liked the decor of the place, but it was a bit busy with customers in terms of not being able to form a line to order & trying to find a place to sit

    Vegan options are crazy!!!!! :)

Can you be transported to Rome with one bite? YES. Gabriele and the team are cranking out delicious pizzas and Italian classics here. You can come in for something you know or branch out and try a unique flavor like cacio pepe. The vegan options are elite, and honestly cannot be beat. Service is friendly and quick. Ambiance is laid back for being so close to the craziness of the city.

    Burnt pizza

Weak pizza, rude staff. Pizza burned without apology or replacement. Music too loud, otherwise ok ambiance.

    Burnt pizza slice.

3.6. Not great service. They were focused on what was on tv. And the air was not working. It was hot. They burnt the edges of my pizza slice and smoke was coming out of the oven. Wanted to rate 3.5. What is good is that is right down the street from the movie theatre.

My husband and I were in the area for a show at the Beacon Theater and looking for a late dinner- Pizza Collective came to the rescue! The place is fast casual but the taste/quality is proper casual/hip Italian- your eyes will be delighted by the selection of pizzas. Note, these aren't the round style slides, but square kind, so its a rectangular pizza. We got slices of the Calabrese ($6), Chicken BBQ ($5.50) and the Emiliana ($7, along with two beers ($7 each). They heated them up for us, so the crust was nice and crispy and with gooey cheese- delicious! The Emiliana featured mortadella, pistachio cream and burrata, and was fantastic. My husband was super happy with his two slices as well. I saw that they have many vegan options and pastas as well! I need to find some more reasons to head up to the UWS so I can try their octopus pizza and cremini mushroom pizza next.

I have working in the 70s on the UWS for several years and never saw this place until today. I ordered a calabrese. He stuck in oven for over 5 mins and it came out cut in 4 pieces. I had the honey on the side, but it turned out hot pepper wasn't the only thing it needed: the honey added a great touch. And a diet Dr Pepper hit the spot. Nice guy behind the counter, relatively quiet on Sunday @ 530p, and I very much enjoyed the slice.

Wasn't expecting a couple italian boys behind the counter. It's a small spot, 5 little 4 seater tables outside, maybe seats for 15 inside. The pizza is all square, more like Italian pizza than NY style, I guess. I liked it, I'd come back. Worth a visit for a snack if you're across the street, for sure! The service is fast like a pizza joint, but the quality is like a restaurant or a fancy coffee shop.

The pizza smelled and tasted like oven / whatever they cooked it on . I had to brush my teeth to get the taste out

Margarita slice with a nice char.

Walking by, the smell of pizza wafted across the sidewalk. It hooked me in. Very visually appealing display of thick crusted pizzas with terrific toppings. I opted for a margarita slice. The crust was thick but bubbled with strands of well-formed gluten. Crisp, chewy, well-fermented crust. Zesty and tomatoey sauce with oregano. Great quality mozzarella and flecks of fresh basil. If it is not your present style of pizza, try it. It might well become your future style of pizza. Nice sized slice, too!

The pizza here is actually surprisingly good despite not being New York style pizza. This pizza is a square deep dish style. However, the bread is not completely dense like deep dish. This is a little airier and reminds me more of focaccia. They have a Margherita pizza, however this is nowhere near what you expect. This one has a thick layer of cheese covering the top. I personally really enjoyed the taste of this, I just think it was more appropriately named cheese pizza as there was also just a very little amount of basil. The fungi pizza was also really good. If you love mushrooms, this has a ton of great umami flavor baked into the slice. Prices of pizzas are fairly standard for a lot of the upper-end slice joints (around $5-6 each). Staff are pretty friendly and bring the pizza to your table after you order it. Overall a pretty good experience with pretty good pizza.

The arancini was a standout: perfectly crisp on the outside, creamy inside, and served with a rich, delicious sauce that tied it all together. We ended on the tiramisu, which was absolutely worth saving room. It was light, flavorful, and a perfect finish to the meal. What really elevated the experience, though, was the staff. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful--especially notable for New York--and it made the whole evening feel relaxed and welcoming. A small heads-up: it's a bit tricky to find, so give yourself extra time. That said, the hidden, underground subway setting is part of the charm and makes the whole experience feel unique. I'd love to see more restaurants creatively use these kinds of spaces in the future.

It is located right in the hallway of a subway entrance, next to a bar and across from a coffee shop, and it somehow manages to feel like a cozy, sit-down restaurant right in the middle of NYC. Don't let the odd location fool you, the food here is outstanding. The Neapolitan and Sicilian-style pizzas are both exceptional, with rich, well-balanced flavors and perfectly executed crusts. Every bite tastes high quality. Also, don't skip the house-made lemonade! The experience is even better because of the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. They were all so kind to so many people. From offering to keep leftovers in the fridge until a customer was done at their broadway show, to offering a scone to a young child while he and his father waited for their pizza to be done, it was more than just flipping a table and onto the next tip, it was humanity at its best. Be sure to give See No Evil Pizza a try. You certainly will want to come back again for more.

RIGHT BY THE DOOR. Do people not realize that putting a bar near a door on a freezing cold night benefits no one? Good thing I did not order alcohol or I would have froze to death. Seriously, none of the pies stood out in grand memory. All I can think of is, well, nothing. Nothing positive anyway. The names of the pies are funny, and the staff is friendly, but besides that, the quality of the food for lack of a better word, dare I say it, sucks. Hoping to salvage the meal, I ordered their Chicken Parmesan. It was the Hail Mary pass that unfortunately did not connect. The cutlets are overcooked and dry, and the red sauce cooked with it has minimal tomato flavor. At least the spaghetti is cooked to a nice al dente and mellow garlic butter flavor, but like the sauce cooked in, it is also minimal. Part of the problem I feel is they are trying to go for a vibe that has a New York and modern feel. It does not work. Stay true to one or the other. Or at least look at other business models. I will use another pizzeria in Bushwick that exemplifies it perfectly. It is a hipster pizzeria in a hipster neighborhood. Through balance, it creates an ambiance both welcoming and warm without losing any of its Bushwick character. It does this by not beating you over the head with hipster vibes, just enough to let you know that you are in Bushwick. The band Franz Ferdinand was playing as I was wrapping up. Rather than take the pizza out, I suggest you throw it out. Overall pizza rating: 1.7/5

The first thing you notice is the main bar wall, with its exposed centuries-old brick that has survived every bit of chaos this city could throw at it. It's subtly backlit from with a warm, amber glow that highlights every single historic groove and imperfection, making the whole room look like it's breathing. I have to say the centerpiece of the entire narrow room is the bar itself, and let me tell you, it is an absolute stunner of a contrast. Instead of the usual dark, sticky tavern wood, they've dropped in a long, continuous slab of pristine, elegantly smooth white stone. It glows under the soft lighting like a block of polished marble. There are no strobe lights and no obnoxious, skull-rattling bass in this joint. Instead, the room is wrapped in a blanket of incredibly chill music that matches the pulse of the room perfectly. It's just loud enough to drown out the noise in your own head, but quiet enough that you don't have to scream over the smooth white counter to be heard. People aren't here to be seen on TikTok; they're here to disappear for an hour or three. You slide into a chair, order a proper Old Fashioned from a bartender who doesn't rush the pour, and watch the ice melt against the amber-lit brick. It's the ultimate underground exhale--a perfect, narrow slice of peace in a city that never shuts up. Cheers!
