If I could give a 0 star I 100% would. I ordered parm garlic wings, cheese breadsticks, and a pizza. I give the pizza a solid 2/10 for it wasn't even done all the way. The wings came exactly how you see it.... Stacked in a pile of parm garlic sauce. The breadsticks came with a literal clump of cheese just sitting on top of it (two of them are gone, still had to feed the children). I called and spoke with a manager because we hadn't had this issue before. Mrs. Katherine is who I spoke to. She stated, "I made those myself, no way they turned out like that. It's just how they are." And then proceeded to tell me I was wrong and to call DoorDash for my problems not them. As the sausage was chunky and was good though like old school sausage . but I did not like the idea of not being to be able to see outside as the windows are way to high and can see anything and felt confined and the idea if pizza on a thin layer of cardboard on the table sucked . I thought I would give this place another try after my last bad experience over a year ago, and it's just as terrible as it was before. Took over 50 minutes to bring out the appetizers, and never got my salad. The food was at least hot when it came out but not worth the wait. There were 3 servers and only 5 tables had customers. Short explanation. Ordered a sub, arrived to pick it up. All employees were outside smoking. Waited at the pick up window while these employees watched me. This place is way to expensive for them to not even remake or refund for the awful pizza I got. This pizza spot is much better at it's original spot in Buckeye Lake. Somehow it has been a bit lost in translation. However, at its reasonable price, this is a great family-friendly restaurant. They have great pizza, salad, subs (the PLT is my favorite,) & a few pastas dishes. If you get a salad, which I recommend, have them cook the pepperoni for a delicious crispiness. They also have a drive-thru for convenience. It's a must try. read more

I understand everywhere, everyone, is short of help. We were a party of 12. 6 adults and 6 children. The sign said seat yourself. After 10 minutes of half a dozen employees walking past our table completely ignoring us. No "hi we will be with you as soon as we can" no eye contact nothing. Not even a boo or a go away. I went to the front and asked about menus. (Some places have you place your order at the front). I was informed the server will bring them out. AFTER 20 minutes of still waiting on at least menus still no acknowledgment from any employee. No drinks, nothing. I asked again about menus. Manager got snotty and said "WE ONLY HAVE ONE SERVER!" Excuse me, first off, if we had been informed of this the FIRST time I asked for menus things would have gone completely different with this review. But no she acted as if we were an inconvenience to her by asking for a menu a second time. When we arrived there were 2 tables of 4-6 people each and a party in the back when we got there. That's it in the whole place. All of their food was coming out about 15 min after we got there. Another group of maybe 8-10 people came in about 10 minutes after we did. Along with an older couple were totally ignored as well. Some kind of acknowledgment would have been nice. But evidently they are doing the customer a favor by working there. We love the whole hog but after this we will find a place with employees who are present and like their job or at least ones that will acknowledge they have customers read more

I really like the laid back atmosphere here, however we are not a huge fan of the cheese they use here, they use provolone and we are mozzarella fans, I wish they would at least have the option of both so we could choose. This pizza is very good, the staff was attentive, the restaurant was dirty. This is one of my all time favorite pizzas, a crisp thin crust with just enough sauce and the pepperonis that curl and crisp on the ends. The BLT pizza is ok a different type of crust that the "toppings" are sandwiched between, it is a must try (but don't reheat). Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't very clean, with it being a "seat yourself" restaurant, it wasn't easy to find a table that had been wiped down. The bathrooms were disgusting, extremely unclean. So my suggestion would be to call in your pizza to go, pull up to the drive through window to pick it up , and go home to chow down. read more

I've been to Pizza Cottage twice. Both times, the food was delicious and the service was great! The pizza is amazing! I ordered the "all the way" pizza which has pepperoni, sausange, onion, green peppers, and mushrooms. It comes on thin crust (unless you specify you prefer a different type of crust) and is unbelievably good. The only thing I didn't like is that they cut the pizza into squares...(which I'm sure they could cut into pie slices if you request it). I also ordered a salad for an appetizer. I was able to order a 1/2 portion of the Italian salad fir $3.99 (instead of it's normal large size for $5.99). It had provolone cheese, pepperoni, mild pepper rings, tomatos and whichever dressing you like. I was hoping for a salad more like Adornetto's (down the street).....but I supposed if I wanted that....I could've gone to Adornetto's instead. hehe! The garlic bread with cheese was good also. I'll go back. I'm kind've partial to Adornetto's in Newark as my ultimate favorite. But I'll certainly go back to Pizza Cottage in the future. read more

Worst service ever! The sign said to seat yourself and no one came to table. There were plenty of young teenagers on staff to wait tables, but they were more busy holding conversations at the server stations. They walked by the booth, but no one bothered to wait on us. I order from PC in Buckeye Lake frequently when at work. The food at this location is the same. They are very consistent. That being said, I find their pizza to be overrated. The toppings are very good but I find their crust to resemble cardboard more than anything else. Their subs are very good especially the Ruthie's Way (steak sub) and the PLT (pepperoni, lettuce and tomato). The atmosphere resembles a high school cafeteria as its a big rectangular room with tables, that's pretty much all there is to it. It's not aesthetically pleasing. I understand it's just a pizza place but it's a building they designed and built for this reason. It would have been nice had they stuck to the theme of the Buckeye Lake location. All in all it's a good place to take the family now and again or to stop by for a reasonable lunch special. read more

It's nice to see Pizza Cottage extending their brand, but the original in Buckeye Lake is the best for atmosphere. The newer locations are pretty plain, not much going in there. One Yelper said it best, resembles a high school cafeteria lol. Beer options are typical domestic, not a big fan of that. The food at this location from subs and salads to the pizza is all delicious, and consistent with all locations. That's great to see! This location is very accomodating for large groups which is a nice touch, will not find that in the Buckeye Lake original location. In any case, although I absolutely love Pizza Cottage (probably my favorite thin crust pizza on the planet) I have had a couple issues in ordering for pickup. Both cases my pizza was not ready at the time given, had to wait even longer, heck one time they forgot about me all together! My review is a little mixed, I really wish I could rate different parts separately to reflect how I really felt about eating here. The facility and staff are great. The facility is pretty new so it's very nice and modern with many LCD TVs to view from every direction. The staff was friendly and top notch. We got a Pepperoni and Sausage pizza and I loved everything but the sauce. Have you ever ordered an appetizer and get the marinara sauce that is a little chunky, like a mild version of salsa? The sauce was very similar and had a sweetness that seemed out of place. It wasn't that bad when it was mixed with rest of the pizza but when eaten alone (crust edge), it just had an average taste. It was very different than almost any other pizza sauce I could remember. Maybe it was just something to do with how it was cooked? I am not sure. It pizza wasn't good enough (to me) to give it 4 stars, but I would rate the rest of the company a 5. If I was you, I would give it a shot to see how you like it. read more

We stopped for a late supper last Saturday night about 8:30 p.m., we were surprised but there were only a few people there. We were promptly waited on and or drink order was filled. Ordered a 14" pepperoni pizza. Our order arrived in good time. This is a thin crust pizza, which is what we like. The pizza was great! The pepperoni is about 3/4 of an inch in size and had a nice spicy taste to it like you frequently found 30 years ago, not so much anymore. They have good options of specialty pizzas but my husband and I opted for the chefs salad and a pepperoni and sausage pizza. They have different crust options and they ingredients tasted fresh. My husband and I love their BLT pizza. The food is always good, however the service at this particular location is terrible. The 2 young female servers working on 1-2-2019 at 9:00 p.m. were too busy gabbing with friends to be bothered to do their job. We had ordered a pizza for dine in and the girls were obviously irritated by our request for plates. When I asked for the directions to the restroom the server rolled her eyes at me and vaguely pointed in the direction of the restroom. She then went back to obnoxiously (and loudly) chatting with a friend. We ended up taking our pizza with us because it was apparent we were not welcome.
