I also consider myself a pizza connoisseur, next to ribeyes,barbecue and key lime pie, I'm probably saying my fourth is pizza. It's totally different than Chicago pizza, and I think it's because of the water I really do!!! What separates pizza places are either the ingredients, or in this place, what separates them is their crust. They make everything fresh right in front of you, pictures are below. Jennie took our order and she walked us through the menu. We ended up getting a big margherita pizza. My son got the 2 tomato slices, he isn't a big cheese fan. My wife got pepperoni, they have beef pepperoni or pork pepperoni. Mikey Love was really cool he came out and greeted me. My kids got a drink, and then guess what, their gelato was actually top tier. I went for pizza and found out the Geloto was was awesome. You go to a pizza place and then get gelato. They had vanilla and watermelon, it was so good. I got some for my daughter, I tasted it, and one of my self them one of my sons wanted some as well. Bernadette was making them and having a great time. Great Vibe here If you come to Brooklyn and you want great pizza, you need to try this place. This place is absolutely awesome.

Sometimes I do tip extra generously, but I don't want to feel like I was tricked into doing it! Looking thru reviews here, I see other people also experienced this, including people in small parties who were locked into the 20% when it should have definitely been 18%. :/ So close to a good experience, but ruined by tricksy billing.

Hidden Gem with a Slice That Stands Out Pizza Daddy is one of those rare hidden gems you remember fondly. It's tucked away just enough to feel peaceful -- definitely not your typical busy NYC pizza spot. It gives off more of a calm, almost small-town vibe, which I find really refreshing in the middle of the city. The owners are always friendly and welcoming, and there's a nice little counter up front where you can sit and eat. On a sunny day, the light pours in and it's the perfect place to just relax with your slice. Now about the pizza -- I've got to rave about this one particular slice. It's square, thick-crust, focaccia-style, topped with fresh chopped tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, and melted mozzarella (maybe even some red onion and herbs in there). The flavors are bright, savory, and have that slightly tangy, garlicky finish that just hits right. It's crispy on the bottom, soft inside -- exactly how you want it. I don't know the name of it, but if you see it, get it. It's seriously one of the best slices I've had. Honestly? It's better than most pizza joints in NYC. Definitely above average, especially for this style -- and it's the kind of option you won't find at a typical corner slice shop. Everyone has a right to his or her opinion...... But, I have to say something about an incident that occurred at Pizza Daddy. I am FLOORED by the number of people who just let their children run around in public places; like restaurants totally unsupervised...then go on Yelp and write a complaint about the terrible service. Why.... because someone asked you nicely, not to have your child put their feet all over a cushioned chair? We have a 2 year old and a 3 year old, and when we go out to public places, We make sure our children do not run around like its a park. If you want your children to stand, step on furniture in your home, or run around and put finger prints all over glass with their greasy fingers, that's fine, its your home. If you're going to rate a place for its food, and pizza, then Pizza Daddy is a 4 star place. If you want your kids to bounce around, take them to those kiddie places, not a restaurant! read more

I first learned about this place when I walked by 65 street and they was dong construction and it had a sign that said coming soon pizza place. I was so excited because finally we was getting a really good pizzeria in the area. most pizza shops their pizza don't have too much sauce or they are too doughy. But not pizza daddy there pizza has a really nice crunch to it and the sauce is soo good has soo much flavor. oh let me not forget their wings one of the best wings I have tasted in Brooklyn by far . you can the sauce on the side nice and crispy. Horrible! The costumer service is awful. I order delivery and got the wrong order. I called to correct the mistake and received an attitude from the order taker. After waiting like 30 extra minutes I received the wrong order again. I called and spoke to a manager instead of apologizing he yelled at me on the phone and offered to send me lettuce and tomato for the cold burger I had waiting at home. I refused that as a paying costumer that deserves the correct meal, now I'm in 20 minutes waiting time for the third order. It is safe to say I won't be eating it because I'm no longer hungry. Terrible, wow the dough was knotted and the customer service was horrible. And before the petty owner comes up here to respond and make up a story about a delivery problem, calling me fake, or making up credit card issues etc (like he does with every negative review to distract) NO, there were no issues with ordering - the food itself was just nasty! Second only to the nastiness of the owner/manager who is like a child. This place would be so much better without him. Would not come here again!! I have ordered delivery from this place before and the time it took was outrageous. Over an hour multiple times and I don't live that far away. When I went in person to try to witness their 2020 pandemic protocols, I saw the way the store was decorated and found it offensive and racist against black people. Yes, the way a store is decorated is part of the customer experience. Yelp took down my previous review where I detailed what I saw as I somehow violated some Yelp policy, but I think you reading this figure out what these decorations are. read more

great pizza I live in the area and I'm gonna be really I honest I have been living in the area over 10 years and this is by far the best pizzeria in the neighborhood. The price is soo reasonable and the pizza is worth more if you asked me the calzones (the homemade) my fav. every time I come here staff and owner really friendly and nice place is soo clean. There is a real shady vibe when I walk into this place. Yesterday I waited to be seated. Joe who I assume is the owner is on the phone. He looks at me in the acknowledgment and when I begin to ask to be seated he rudely explains to me that he's on the phone. Great priced lunch specials, I normally get the chicken Caesars salad which is delicious. They also have many pizzas with all different toppings and a variety of hot sandwiches from veal, chicken and eggplant. The setting is nice all brand new inside with excellent seating with two large tv's. Excellent customer service friendly and neighborly. Highly recommend it so give them a try. read more

Chicken roll could've had more meat in it, but was ok nonetheless. I ordered for delivery so can't speak to the ambiance. Dominick's Pizzeria in Brooklyn, is an average looking pizzeria on the corner of 8th Avenue and 50th Street in Brooklyn. You walk in, order what you want, you.can either sit and eat or take it to go, but the pizza is served hot and is absolutely delicious. There are no gimmicks, no cheap frills, just good pizza. I had the regular slice and the chicken bacon ranch pizza, both were amazing. I recommend this spot if you are in the neighborhood and need a quick bite to eat, Overall, I will rate this place a 4 out of 5.

The only thing is, it's on a bit on the oiler side so I had to tap it a few times with a napkin but it was still delicious. Would return in the future if I'm craving for pizza.
