I've come here for their all you can eat special that is everyday from 12pm-8pm and only costs $6.99. It's an excellent deal because you can have them make any pizza for all you can eat as well as bread sticks and and a drink! In addition the place is clean, and the guys who work there are really nice. It has that small town pizza place feeling which I enjoy. The pizza is good, they also have hot sandwiches. I phoned in an order for a large 4 topping pizza for $7.99. The woman on the other line acknowledged the price and took the order. When I arrived to pick it up, the price was $9.99. When I asked why it wasn't $7.99, the women claimed she didn't know and walked away. Another worker came up and asked what I thought the price was and when I stated $7.99 he just walked away. Had 2 'Double Take Deal' certificates - the first time I used it in combo with a special and the guy tried to tell me my $20 coupon was only worth $10 - plus the pizza took 45 minutes to cook after I was told 20 minutes. Today I ordered by phone - told them I wanted their current special, said I had a "Double Take' certificate - they said 20 mins. We showed up in 20 mins - they said 10 more mins. We wait - I go to pay and take out my certificate - the guy says "no coupon with specials" (they took it last time no worries). He wanted to charge me another $20. I ended up giving him $10 (extra). Rant time: please share and feel free to share your experience. Pizza express in atown is the worst now. I literally used to go to pizza express twice a week when it was ran with actual people who knew what they were doing. Well let me tell you the new owners and managers are ridiculous. All the sudden they don't deliver out to my house. They decided to tell me this after they ran my card and I waited. They also charged my card TWICE!!!! Then after I talk with them for 15min trying to understand a word they are saying. They state they have no drivers and "just tonight" they wouldn't be serving us. So I asked what they would do for making me wait for (up to 2 weeks) for my money to be reimbursed in my bank. And crickets....they literally couldn't communicate and when I would get upset he would scream at me "don't yell at me". I'm the most understanding person when it comes to service but I could not understand the horrible quality of service here. Pizza express has been my go to place for at a minimum of once or twice a week for the past 2 years. It went from enjoying the great pizza and staff to not knowing what happend. One day I'm satisfied and the next they didn't even inform me they changed owners, the whole recipe, or deals. If it changes ownership you should at least tell the customers they are getting something different when they are paying money for something they believe they are getting yet getting a complete different recipe. The new pizza is not good and the staff is definitely not as friendly. Super sad. read more

I hate to give Pizza Express such a low rating as they make good pizza. The problem is the service. Don't count on delivery. No matter how good the pizza is, if it takes forever from them to arrive, the pizza will be cold and stale. Plan on waiting for at least 1 & 1/2 hours. The guys working on Presidents' Day (was it Washington's bday?) couldn't have been nicer. My son orders two calzones from Pizza Express in town. First told we really busy will be about an hour for delivery. No problem with that. Also CJ took the order and I was impressed with the young man because my soon takes a bit longer to talk due to speech issues and did not try to hurry him off the phone. I call with in 5 minutes of delivery state nicely just had two calzones delivered on name my street. I think it was manager that answer phone not sure. Oh I need you to take picture of both and text it to store cell and once I get I will call you right back. I'm thinking hokey bs story. It is not good customer service to not believe the customer and treat like your a lier. Well never got call back. I wait at least 8 min. Then call back to see what was said on burnt calzones. Well never told they text back but guess happened two new ones on way. I explain to them not good customer service and not everyone has cell a cell with camera on it or some may have charges with text sent or received. Oh not come across that yet as everyone or 90% hâve a Cell the manager says. AAlso its new pollicy for people to take picture and text us if something wrong. I know will not order from them again. I understand if business is busy but to treat a customer in that manner and say have to make sure they really cook well because we have to. Bs, do not order from them as poor service if you have something wrong with order and not believe customer call within few minutes of something delivered. I did not eat the burnt ones. Treated like lier and having to text pictures in as its their new policy. You could of had them back if need.
