This place is no longer in business. But was the best pizza in Pennsuaken area. The family was also great.

Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Cost to worth it rating: 3 Opentableable: no reservations Return worthiness: yes! Eve awards best cheesesteak of my life--still thinking about it Highlights: - The bread: a soft long roll with sesame seeds was a delight I didn't see coming. - Meat: was lightly seasoned but kept its pure flavor. Most cheesesteaks have such bland meat so this did it right - Cheese: melty coopers cheese was perfectly mixed in. - Onions: just the right soloing if grilled onions mixed in to complement the meat but not overwhelm it. - Size: monstrous! You can easily share (but you may not want to). - Fairly efficient: even with long lines, put your phone number in the kiosk, can pay with credit card, and wait til you are texted to pick it up. - For the whole family: my cranky teen son said it's the best thing he ate on our 23 day summer East Coast trip (including lots of great dining spots around Philly and NYC). Lowlights: - Waits can be long and brutal in heat. We got lucky with a shorter line. - No seating: just an ordering counter inside so many are eating out on the sidewalk.

Yes!!! Hear me out: get pizza or cheesesteaks here, walk and munch on it on your way to John's water ice. Get in line for John's and by the time you get your dessert you'd be done w your pizza. Perfect evening. Now onto the food review. The star is THE BREAD. The pizza's crust was chewy and crispy. We had the white pizza and devoured it. It's also MASSIVE for 2 people. The cheesesteak was loaded (could use more seasoning but maybe they intentionally make it that was as a baseline), the seed roll? PHENOMENAL. The lines are confusing. Lowkey I think they have the opportunity to make their signings better. Dear owner if you see my review, see the 2 perfect rectangles right above the door? Hear me out, one sign per rectangle that says order on the left and pick up on the right. That will solve everyone's confusion and save your team from yelling at customers "ORDER OVER HERE!" Win-win. We asked for a cheesesteak w mushroom and was charged for it but it didn't come with mushrooms :( we do appreciate the speed though and they'll keep your food in a warmer until you pick up (how thoughtful!) There is absolutely no seating inside, definitely a grab and go place!

Those might have been the largest , but also most delicious mozz sticks I've had in a whileeee and the star of our night. Our bartender was amazing, super friendly , checked on us plenty but not overbearing- and the reason this was bumped up to 4 stars I was underwhelmed with the $28 crab Rangoon pizza. The flavor was decent, the crust was good - and I get inflation is killing us all - but can you even see any lump crab in that photo? I think they could have been more generous with that

It has a fun look: lounge area with sofa, wood-paneled bar area, cartoon murals. There's a lot happening. Seating is at the bar, on long tables like a very nice cafeteria or beer hall, some small bistro tables and tall tables. Old TV like Rocko's Modern Life on the big screens. Staff wear casual clothes with 80s/90s inspired accents. Menu has starters like you'd see at a "gastropub." We really enjoyed the charred broccolini with almond tahina (think almond butter). The plain Jane pizza was great. Loved the thin crust, the sauce that was bright (not sweet), and a layer of cheese that was, to me, perfect. Not a fancy pizza, but pizza like I remember from neighborhood pizza parlors a a kid. The pasta was a surprise. They make it in house. Spaghetti had a perfect, toothsome bite. With a cream sauce and chestnuts, it was a very fancy--and tasty--dish we weren't expecting looking at the "basement play room" atmosphere. Love this addition to what is becoming an exciting block of Spring Garden!

They went ahead and refunded me anyway, without me even asking. That kind of honesty and care is wonderful. The pizza itself is consistently delicious -- you can tell they actually care about what they're putting out. Between the food quality and how they treat their customers, this place has earned my loyalty. Highly recommend!

I've been constantly reading the continued hype, I figured I'd give C&S another try. We ordered the chicken parm square. It's really dense, and deceiving filling from such a tiny pie -10" square, if I recall. My college-aged son asked as I walked in the door, "That's it? What are else are we going to eat? Did you know it was going to be that little?" Neither of us was able to finish the pie, and we saved the rest as the next day's leftovers. As for the pie itself, it was good enough but not outstanding. The crust was somewhat crispy, probably more chewy. The overall flavor of the pie, chicken pieces, and red sauce - fine, I guess. Nothing earth shattering. The price though, is higher than other equivalent neighborhood pizza shops, by quite a bit. I guess that's why it has been so long since the last takeout. The pizza is good enough, but we're not seeing the value, nor understand the recent hype.

Second thing is that by the slice is possible, but that option is not available to pre-order (no no on the online menu) but you can at the window. I wish I knew this as I had their tomato pie, which is very good, but WAY WAY too much pizza for a single human to eat. I ate two pieces and started a third and then called it. Had I know about the by the slice, I could have tried more options. The vibe was very chill. One complaint, the area where I ate smelled of urine, and would say that a daily hose down would be a good idea. I'd go back for sure to try more!

The slices sell quickly, and the service was friendly and helpful. I ordered the pepperoni. The crust had a perfect crispy texture with an airy bite, which I really liked. However, the slice itself felt a bit too greasy for me and the sauce was somewhat bland. Overall, it was just an "okay" slice. I did prefer the buffalo chicken slice since the red sauce isn't the main focus, and the flavors worked better together. It's definitely a popular spot and a solid option for a night out with friends.
