I placed an online order at 3:00pm with a scheduled pickup for 6:30pm. It was the first time we tried this place. Paid online in full. I arrived at 6:29 to check in and pick up the order. The employee found the order in the system and said, "I'll check on that right now." She went to the prep area. I then stood next to the counter where orders come out. Little did I know I would be standing there literally for 35 minutes while order after order came out, but not mine. Mine came out at 7:05pm. It was a busy Saturday night on a holiday weekend, and I understand places can get backed up. However, I had scheduled this order hours before. Yet, it is evident they didn't start preparing the order until after I had arrived. It is utter incompetence and complete disregard for the customer to have failed to start this order until after the scheduled pickup time, particularly when it was placed hours before. I was not a squeaky wheel at the restaurant other than checking on the status once during the 35 minutes (they told me "it will be out shortly). When I received the two pizzas at 7:05pm, I stated evenly to the staff person (the portly young female) that these were supposed to be ready at 6:30pm. She grunted in acknowledgment and walked away. The pizza is OK. Good quality toppings; marginal crust. However, due to the poor service and incompetent staff, I'll never be back despite the limited options in Arnold, CA. The owner of " Pizza Factory" should try the pizza at the Arnold location; which is terrible! There pizza dough sucks, toppings suck and price is just as expensive as Round Table for a totally inferior product. I would rather drive 20 miles to Angels Camp for a decent pizza at round table....Really Arnold Pizza Factory should get less than 1 star, but that is not a choice sadly..........Go to big trees and JUST get a frozen. I have been to 3 other pizza factories across California, and the 2 large pepperoni pizzas I purchased for my family were right on par with the other pizza factory's that have been open for years. To the other patrons who are upset about the workers voice, and how the XL pizza didn't feed 4 men after hiking.. grow up. The establishment is new, and quality is on point. it almost seems as if those 1 star reviews are coming from nearby 'competitors', upset that a new pizza chain is in town.. Location is convenient, in the main shopping center in Town. I ordered ahead and my pizzas were ready at the time given (1 hour after placing my order) The dude who gave gave me my pies, and took payment was nice. 0 issues. 5 stars.. just as solid as any other pizza factory. read more

I really want to support local business but this is a hard one for me. Called for a delivery order last night around 4:30. The gentleman who took my order was kind, but did tell me he would take an hour to deliver my pizza. I told him that wasn't a problem. Well, our pizza didn't arrive until 6:30 and we didn't receive any notification throughout that time. To make matters worse, I ordered pineapple on half of my pizza which I didn't get. In all fairness, the pizza was delivered warm and it was good, but the other half with chicken Alfredo barely had any chicken. This made it quite expensive for what I received. My total was $35 for a medium pizza. I didn't receive a receipt but I'm assuming they charged me for the additional topping as well as delivery. read more

Terrible pizza, the dough has no taste, the toppings weren't fresh-- the sausage was inedible. Even if I was offered a coupon, I would refuse. The staff working were nice and responsive -- this experience had nothing to do with the people working there. Only the lack of quality and terrible products of this franchise. read more

I walked in with my family on a slow Thursday after lunch rush, and was thrilled with the friendly service, hot pizza, and nice salad bar. And the soda fountain had cherry pepsi that was actually good. The restrooms were well maintained, as was the dining area. Our order took at most 25 minutes to be brought out to our table. Visited Arnold several weeks ago and the first night here we decided to grab pizza thinking it would be simple and fast. We are so wrong. TLDR: Inaccurate wait times, dishonest service. Ordered online at 5:15pm. Website said it would take 30 minutes. Arrived at 5:45. There was a line that took about 10 minutes to get through, no big deal. Then I paid and expected to get my pizza. Then (after I paid), they then told me it would be ANOTHER 30 minutes before it was ready. I said to the cashier, "you should have told me that before I paid, not after. I would have left if I knew it was going to be that much longer." She just smiled and said "yeah." No apology, she didn't care. I ask why the website was so inaccurate. She gave an excuse that they have to manually change the wait times so they are. Ok, so why don't they do that? Then I see the "no refunds" sign behind her. Ok so then I wait another 30 minutes. It's now 6:25. There are at least 20 people waiting for orders, not a good look. I ask the guy putting pizzas in the box if it was ready (I noticed not every order was being called so I was staying on top of it). He then tells me it will be another 20 minutes. Ugh really? 20 minutes goes by, now it's 6:45. Then I hear the order before mine get called so I figure mine would be out soon. Finally got my pizza at 6:50, more than an hour after it was promised. The people making pizzas were not moving particularly fast and the ovens had plenty of capacity. I get it was busy. I don't mind waiting for food, but I don't like false promises and lazy staff. I gave 2 stars because the pizza itself was good. Otherwise it would have been one. Will never go here again. read more

Stopped by pizza factory for a takeout pizza. When we arrived at the cabin - it was the wrong order!! When I called to let them know I was put on hold and another person took my call. This person blamed us for accepting it because he thought he named the type of pizza and it was accepted by us, he did call out by name-so it was my fault? My pizza, my name. 'No sorry about the mix up', 'no your pizza is waiting here,' Just "I do my job and I'm good at it! " Then he hung up on me! Your job should include customer service! No more pizza factory for us- I'll stop at Murphy's pizza for an order before I drive up the hill. read more

Pretty disappointed our first time in the price was pretty expensive. We ordered the raviolis and only got 6 small raviolis for 12. Dollars the pizza was 35$ for what they said was a extra large. We have been back a few times and they take so long and the crust is so thin all the toppings fall off. Took the entire family and we all sampled the mini pizzas as well as pasta and dessert. Fantastic, fresh quality. The sauce is one of the best I've had. Left a great impression. When we said that we have two young kids and they are very hungry, and asked if anything could be done, we weee told to cancel our order. The place was well staffed. My family and I entered this Arnold, CA Pizza Factory at 6:30 PM on Saturday Dec 23rd. We FINALLY got the wings, breadsticks and 2 pizzas we ordered at 8:25 PM. We came in on a Friday afternoon for the first time ready to eat some pizza and play some games. I had called ahead and asked if they had any games or arcade games and they said yes, we have pinball, air hockey, some arcade games, claw games, and quarter machines. GREAT, our kids will love that and we will spend $ and have a good time. We were super upset to walk in and see that the vast majority of the games (and the ones they had described) were enclosed in the "party room" which was reserved for a party. Uh, ok, so you make most of your guests just watch while only the people that reserved the party room can play all the games? PLEASE train your staff to answer the question appropriately that you DO have games but they are not available to the public at all times (how stupid is this?!). We decided against staying to eat at a regular table and watch others have the fun we came to have, so we ordered to go. Took longer than we were told and our garlic bread was burnt. I'd say if you need dinner in a pinch, grab some pizza to go (no burned bread) and avoid the disappointment of watching only the party people play all the arcade games.
