Food was great, super fun atmosphere and crazy breadsticks! Super fast service, and very friendly staff.

I wanted to like this place but it was not great. Our food came out at all different times which was awkward, we also did not get plates, napkins, or silverware with our shareable pizzas. We ordered breadsticks and they were never brought to our table. When we asked about it The server just said "sorry" and shrugged. When breadsticks were brought out to the two tables who arrived after us, we decided to call it a loss. No one was available to ask about taking it off our bill and we had already tipped over 20% up front for sub-par service so I guess it's a win for them. Overall, the servers were friendly enough but didn't seem interested in helping much. I did see one server mixing up some ranch next to a station with cleaning supplies which seemed a little weird. Probably needs better management or leadership. I wouldn't stay they were understaffed - there seemed to be plenty of employees walking around and standing at the front. Personally I wouldn't recommend this place but 2 stars because the food was ok. read more

Not sure what this place is really about??? BUT ITS A MESS! 1st, there is huge menu that is absolutely confusing. Then there are different menus that are displayed all over the front counter with different specials and deals, just a sloppy confusing mess. 2nd, you have to order at the front counter, yes NO servers and all the customers are plied up at the front counter to place orders, looking at the menu trying to figure out what they want. You feel totally rushed and uncomfortable. After that ordeal, you still not sure your order is correct. 3rd pizza is horrible, cheese is not even fully melted (too much) just bad, salad bar is a total mess half the items were out. Worst part is they have workers walking around cleaning tables but can't seem to take of the salad bar. We were burnt out of pizza so we ordered pasta, fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, and cheese tortellini with rose Alfredo. Both were delicious. The kids really loved the cheesy garlic bread with pepperoni too! 10/10 will order again read more

If you have been to the fast food chain Fazoli's, this is simply a local version. I prefer the Fazoli's chain dramatically, which does not say a lot for this local staple. It is fine for what it is- casual fast food. I ordered the half portion pasta dinner ($9.31 w tax). Like almost everything in Cedar City, the portion was outrageous. I had my meal with cheese ravioli with rose Alfredo, a breadstick, and a Caesar salad. I took half of the ravioli home and focused my energy towards the breadstick and salad. The salad was OK, although no Caesar should come with onions. The dressing was very mild but ok. The breadsticks here are notable, with a giant twisty bread on a stick. With a side of the pesto sauce, I really enjoyed this fresh and hot breadstick. The sauces on the pasta were standard jar sauces and too a little too rich for a whole dish. The ravioli is standard freezer ravioli. So all in all, nothing special but this fills the stomach. I would rather a Fazioli's (cheaper and better pasta), but that is not an option here. However, I am having a good LOL at the people melting down over the casual fast food service. The quality of food here doesn't merit that, and a little physical activity never hurt anyone. The service was really friendly so I am adding a star for them being nice and pleasant. read more

We went as a large group on a Friday night (tonight) after calling to warn them we were coming a half hour before close. Not sure, 20 kids from 5-13 of age and 12 parents in the back area they'd reserved for us. The team had a strenuous day and needed to cut loose and they actually encouraged us to have fun. Staff had to run plate after pizza after salad after breadstick and find the owners when parents were together and kids were together. Worked really well and they were patient with the chaos. If there was a hiccup they fixed it and then some. We're in from California and it was so kind of their entire team and owner/managers to make us feel at home and at ease as we ate their delicious food. Even well after close as we left and my swimmer wanted a sucker one employee was so happy to name which color was what and which was his favorite-she chose his favorite and it was great. Some in our group had come before and that's why we all came back. When we come again we will be sure to visit this outstanding business. Thank you to all that helped us tonight!! read more

The wait was long and unorganized. Not even a formal waiting list. The service was minimal from the employees. Seemed understaffed. Got placed at a dirty table with a condition to leave by a certain time. Not very professional, but I guess it was nice to squeeze us in. The order came good, the food was tasty. Loved the cool breadsticks. Tasty flavors on the pizza too. After they brought us our food they never checked on us again to see if it was done correctly or get any feedback. Such a terrible place to eat I come in and order and and go to find a table but all the tables were dirty so I go up to the front and ask if I can get someone to wipe one down and the lady at the front and she has to audacity to tell me to go find someone else so I'm a lol upset but I let it slide and find someone else then I sit down and they mess up my order and I have to wait like 20 mins for a tiny pizza and I finally get it and it taste terrible. This is one of those Cedar City places that has been around for decades. I've been going here for 15 years. The pizza is not the best. They need to rework their dough recipe. The crust is more like your grandmother's bread dough rolled out and topped. They changed their wait service a few years ago and basically it sucks. You order then find your table. If you would like some extra sauce or want to add something. You have to go get in line again and order it. It seems that every time I go, the girl taking orders is confused and subsequently messes up the order. The food is predictable and fair. Don't expect things to change as I doubt that management reads these reviews and offers no surveys. It offers the only option in salad bars other than Sizzler (don't go there). I suspect this place will survive as it is almost an institution despite the mediocre food and sub par service. read more

Here's the deal, if you've ever been to a different Pizza Factory location, you know how amazing the delicious garlic bread twist breadsticks are. I was craving them on a road trip so we ordered them and picked them up. Unfortunately, this location's breadsticks are completely different than every other Pizza Factory location's breadsticks. They are not even close to as good and don't even remotely look or taste the same. Huge bummer. read more

The service wasn't the worst but I have had friendlier service. I just did not like the pizza. It was also too doughy and greasy. We ordered a margarita pizza that was not a true margarita pizza, it had limes on it.... ?? I've had better frozen pizzas. Maybe they just had a bad day? I have never had such poor service....ever. And i don't expect high quality, from a place like this, but man i was suprised. I've been here several times before, on other peoples request, and have never been impressed. This was my last trip. There was 2 of us. 10 minutes to be seated. 10 minutes to get a menu. No " Hi" from our server, just dropped off menu's on the edge of the table. The place wasn't packed but there was only one waitress for about 10 tables. My when she came to our table to order, I gave her my order. My boyfriend, ordered a dish that had a choice of pasta, but the sever didn't stay long enough to get his choice of pasta. Didn't see her untill she brought our food. My bf really dislikes angel hair pasta, because it is rarely cooked aldente, especially here. And his dish was made with angel hair. Asked for a menu to make sure it said, "On your choice of pasta". It did. When we brought it up to our server, she looked at us like we were crazy. Her reply "if you don't tell us what pasta you want we just put it on angel hair." and she was gone. no offer to remake it. Overall: Too expensive, bad smells, poor service, and nasty food. I went here with a date. Got seated immediately and noticed that it was dead on a Saturday night (not a good sign.) When we were walking to our booth, we noticed a bad smell, like stale cheese and a hint of sewage. But, I heard the place was good so I gave it a chance. Ordered breadsticks, a chicken bacon pizza, a pasta dish with rosy sauce (red and white sauce combined), side salad, and waters. The breadsticks were twisted on a metal rod and we were only served 2 sticks. How is that an order of breadsticks, SERIOUSLY?!? Freaking stingy... Anyway as cool as the breadsticks looked, they were overcooked on the outside and raw doughy on the inside. I spit it up and asked for new ones. We only got one stick this time and it was better, but I paid for an order of breadsticks and only got one out of it. WTF? The salad was ridiculous. It looked like it was being served on a teacup plate. One tiny tomato, a handful of lettuce, and a single black olive. $3-4. Asked the waitress about it and she was clueless. More money wasted. The pasta was inedible. It had soggy, gross looking zucchini and yellow chunks. I say "yellow chunks" because it couldn't be identified,... not even by the manager. It could have been squash or lemon chunks, but the taste was so bad that you really couldn't tell. The rose sauce was sour. Now, my date and I have had good rose sauce in pasta dishes, but this was so foul tasting that I needed all the water I could to wash out the taste. Had two bites and made them take it back. And yeah, no refills on my water. The waitress rarely came by and no one else came to our section. Took us 10-15 minutes to get someone over to our table after being served the entree. The chicken bacon pizza was just ok. The white sauce was good, but the amount of toppings and pizza you get for $25 bucks was insulting. Seriously, I could have gotten a similar pizza at Domino's (across the block) for $12 and would have actually tasted better. Also the crust had no flavor...seriously, the communion wafers at churches had more flavor. I talked with the manager and told him that we refuse to pay for food that we couldn't stomach. He offered more food to go instead of altering the bill and we asked why we would want more inedible disgusting food? We just told you that this was the worst Italian food we've ever had. We stopped by here while relocating to Salt Lake City. The food wasn't bad, decor was what you'd expect at a pizza parlor- red shiny vinyl booths, wooden accents, etc. The salad bar wasn't so great- I could tell that some of the veggies weren't entirely fresh- they had probably been put out last night, if not the night before as well. We ordered the barbecue pizza, which wasn't half bad. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but decently delicious and filling for an empty stomach. I don't even know how to say in words how bad this experience was. I got a eye roll just when I was asking for a table. I had to get up and got my own straw, napkins, silverware. The salad bar had ham soaking in water and the eggs were grey that was just the tip of how big a mess the salad bar was. When my husbands pizza came out we watched it sit at the pass for 5 min, while they were hanging with their friends sitting at the table next to us. So I finally got up and got it for him myself unfortunately at that point It was cold. My sandwich had so much Mayo on it I could hardly taste the veggies. The one good point was the cheese bread. If you're taking your large family out for dinner and you're on a budget, great, otherwise, skip this place entirely. It was dirty, crowded, loud, and the wait staff isn't particularly helpful. They have a decent salad bar (And by decent I mean their lettuce was fresh, they had a wide variety of toppings, and there wasn't too much gunk in the dressings) but don't expect great food from here. Our garlic bread was good (since when is butter, garlic, and cheese on white bread NOT good?) but our pizza was soggy and the dough was slightly raw. We walked in and they were very busy. We stood in line to order. My wife got the salad and bread stick. I saw what looked like a calzone in the warming window and asked the gal if that is what that was. She said yes so I ordered a all meat calzone. It was delicious. I love that they cover it with a marinara sauce. It was stuffed full of sausage and ham. Plenty of cheese also. It came out very quickly. I've never not enjoyed the Pizza Factory. Yes, their pizza is very average and I've never attempted the salad bar (as I've always heard rumors whispered in dark rooms about it) but the atmosphere makes it kind of a fun date place. Just make sure to get breadsticks. It's a fun place to go every once in a while, but don't expect some fancy Italian restaurant or crazy original pizza place, because it's not. read more

Great salad bar, the breadsticks are amazing and the seating is comfortable. We shared a lunch meal which was a calzone, one trip to the salad bar and we traded the soft drink for a bread twist. We were very pleased with all the food. Suggestions for the owner to make this an even better restaurant, simplify the menu, have your staff unified by wearing a uniform or a pizza factory t-shirt, and get some sturdy forks. Half the forks were bent which just looks really cheap. The mints added a nice finish to the meal as did the chocolate chip cookie which was huge and yummy. read more

We were in town for a baseball tournament and several of the families (24 kids and adults) wanted to grab some pizza afterwards. We heard from some locals that the Pizza Factory was great for large groups. I called in advance and let them know that we were coming with a big group. They said they could accommodate. When we arrived, they had a group of tables set aside for us. They quickly set us up with pitchers of soda and breadsticks for the group. Service was on point. The only complaint for me was that they didn't serve beer....but that is probably a common flaw in Utah dining. I simply ordered a cheese pizza with chicken thinking nothing can go wrong because how can you mess that up especially if "pizza" is in the title of the restaurant, well it was disgusting. As I ate it I felt my arteries built up with fat. I only ordered a mini pizza yet there was sooo much excess grease and fattiness. Even the pizza itself looked very unappetizing because the chucks of chicken were almost the size of the pizza. It looked more like a pizza soup. I literally couldn't finish it even though I was hungry. The ingredients tasted so cheap. The only thing this restaurant has going for itself is the salad bar which is only good because you literally make it yourself and it helps to combat all the grease you just ate. Oh and almost forgot, my friend ordered the margherita pizza, it had a bunch of random vegetables and fresh limes on top???? What? We were all confused. This review is based solely on a delivery pizza. Our Pizza Factory Special was a bit better than any of the chain stores. It was a little pricey, but there was enough for two meals. The young lady who took my order on the phone was friendly and patient, and the pie was delivered hot and quick by the driver. I would order it again... and probably will. read more

Went out with my small daughter and they brought my food out over fifteen minutes before her small cheese pizza so my sandwich was cold. I had to remind them to make her pizza and they gave me a cookie but neither of our dinners were good at all. A local (actually a worker at another pizza place) told us if we wanted pizza and pasta that this was our best choice. I was hesitant to try it because of the reviews. The pizza was great. The deals were great as well. Several of us got the pizza, salad bar & drink deal for around $8. Salad bar was fresh and the pizza was good. Kids meals were cheap- less than $4 for pasta and a drink. Fed a family of 5 for less than $40. It was clean and the food was made to order. Can't complain. read more
