We were staying in Mariposa for a few days and grabbed a pizza the first night we arrived. The restaurants in the area have tricky hours so be aware. Pizza Factory was open so we went over to grab some food. The setup is pretty easy, you order at the counter and then they bring it to you. We ordered the factory pizza and it was good. Toppings were good and plentiful. I always Judge pizzas by their crust and again they did a good job. service was good but nothing special. They toss 'em, they're...adequate. I've been to several of the Pizza Factory places up the 395, and this one was similar. There's plenty of variety - salads, sandwiches, and the highlight pizza which indeed they do toss - watching them do it is probably the best part. Otherwise it's bench seating, seems like the kind of place you'd take the baseball team after a game. We got take-out. This place actually answer their phone which is a plus. When we came in to pick up our food, the gentleman was very kind and we bonded over anime since my partner has a anime sticker on his card. We paid $43 for one small and one large pizza. Mine was supposed to be a tomato basil, it was chopped up tomatoes (dices) and the basil was cooked under the cheese. So many great memories here. My friends and I would come in a group, order a ton of pizza and salads, and wolf them down in the arcade room in the back. We stopped by here on our first night at Mariposa and it was a great! The ladies working there are super kind. We got an xl veggie pizza which was huge and enough for dinner, lunch and dinner again! We were done with the XL Pizza and cheese sticks and we asked several times for our appetizer (wings). We got tired of waiting after we finished all our food and asked for a refund. no type of apologize was given or even bothered to check in and let us know there was a delay on appetizer. Friendly staff and good pizza. The restaurant is a rustic sports bar. We went in winter and it was super cold inside so I would recommend dressing warmly on cooler seasons of planning to eat there (they do offer takeaway). Stopped on our way back from Yosemite as HWY 41 was closed due to the fire. All the staff we encountered were friendly and provided great customer service. Brought in my reusable Yeti to get some ice water with my meal and the water from the soda machine didn't taste right. I guess I got spoiled drinking the tap water in Yosemite. I mentioned this to an employee and he said no worries and gave me a bottled water at no charge. A+ SERVICE As for the pizza i would give it a grade A++ because our kids don't normally eat the crust from the pizza but did eat every last bite of it here. The hot wings we ordered were a 10 count however we received 12 pcs instead. How did they know we LOVE hot wings. The antipasta salad was fresh and delicious but felt like it was missing a few more pepperoncinis. I guess i could have asked for more but felt they had given us more than what we expected. Overall I would definitely stop here again when in the neighborhood and play Bubble Booble and Ms Pac Man in their mini arcade again. We were in town and heard good things from our friends so we had to stop on a Saturday night. The place was popping so many people coming in and out, luckily were were able to get a long table for our party of 9, self seating. The pizza is delicious we ordered three pizzas, pepperoni, hawaiian, and bbq pizza. Each large pizza is $20. We also ordered wings, the wings were okay ..meh not impressed, they tasted like the frozen ones from Costco, so ill pass on the hot wings next time. Maybe ill try the garlic cheese bread next time. Overall, good customer service and the place looks clean also make sure you bring a jacket, the ac is full on blasting and all the fans are on, it was like an ice box in there, especially towards the back to the bathrooms. Wow this place was great! Was in Mariposa on a little vaycay and decided to order pizza one night for 5 people. Ordered an xl vegetarian pizza over the phone and picked it up. The pizza was delicious! The veggies were so fresh and not mushy! The crust was on point! I usually don't like crust and just leave it, but oh My goodness!! It was so delicious. It had perfect crunch toasted outside and soft on the inside. The pizza sauce had a perfect ratio where it wasn't too much. The cheese was fantastic! And it was not too salty! It was definitely one of the best pizzas ive had. To top the cherry- the workers were so pleasant and nice! They had plates, to go: ranch, pepper flakes, and parm cheese, with napkins! I love this pizza place. It's an easy stop on your way into or out of Yosemite. The place has a great classic pizza parlor vibe, excellent service and the pizza is delicious. All pizza should be judged by the quality of its crust and ingredients. The crust is perfect. It's obvious why - there's a guy at the counter hand tossing perfect pies. This makes the crust a perfectly chewy delicious treat at the end of each slice. They use high quality ingredients which is immediately obvious as their cheese stretches for miles as you pull out your slices. We got a gigantic pepperoni and the pepperoni slices were delicious, high quality, and they didn't cheap out on the quantity. It's a simple walk up window where you order and then sit down. After a short wait they bring you a great pizza. It's a family style atmosphere which, although it can be noisy, it's the perfect vibe for a classic pizza place. I love that this place is on the road to Yosemite because it's easy for me to stop here. But I would drive out of my way to get a Pizza Factory pie. I would give it 5 stars, but it's just difficult to give pizza 5 stars. Also, we tried the salad bar, and while it was fresh, clean and tasted good. It was just a bit limited on selections. Had a weird house rental experience. Was all prepared to cook dinner but the propane wasn't pumping out enough gas to the stove. So we decided to order pizza. Didn't disappoint! Ordered the lasagna, combo calzone, and XL Hawaiian Pizza. Menu said the calzone can feed 2 people and that's totally right...it's huge. Personally, I enjoyed the calzone more than the pizza (what's not to like about an inverted pizza, right?) but everything was delicious, fresh, and our party of 4 adults and 2 kids finished off everything. read more

Really good Homemade Lasagna. Little too heavy on the sauce so I've learned to order very little sauce. Same goes for the pizza, order light sauce. Really fresh ingredients and though not fancy, good quality food. Service is slow at not busy hours, but the quality of the food is worth the waiting time. We ordered the big R special large pizza and garlic Parmesan wings. Upon arrival, the line was very long by the cashier - apparently this one line was the same line for pick up as well. Ultimately, we realized our order was not place until we waited on the line and paid. If we knew this was the case, we would not have ordered ahead of time on the phone. The inside was definitely not covid friendly - tables were close and the line was long and not spaced apart. My friend and I waited for almost 30 minutes before walking out livid with our pizza and wings. The food itself was pretty good, but not worth the wait. The big R special had a good balance of vegetables and meats - the crust wasn't as crispy, supposedly comparable to Papa John's but higher quality than Domino's. read more

Visited for pizza on a weekend trip to Yosemite. Ordered a "dinner special" which included an extra large pizza, 2 salads or breadsticks and 4 drinks. (The cashier kept calling it a "family meal") The price on the wall said $32, yet I was charged $41. When I asked about the discrepancy, the cashier said that it was the old price from when they opened and the new price was $41. She tried to find it on the printer menus, but it's not listed anywhere. The manager on duty also explained that the prices on the wall haven't been updated and he's been "bugging them (the owner?) for 2 years now to fix it" and that he's gotten food thrown at him because of it. So they obviously know it's a problem but nobody has done anything to fix the false advertising. To his credit, the manager refunded the difference. But dear god somebody change the advertised price on the wall. Pizza was decent and salad bar was just ok. If not for the shady pricing, they'd get 3 stars. Pretty average. read more
