The pizza that I've had here are not bad, I'm not going to say great. The price of a salad $7.50 is ( IMO ) ridiculous, now Ridgecrest has 2 pizza places in town that charge this much for a salad WTH, I will make sure I don't order a salad , IF !!! We came right at 2:00 and the wonderful cashier; who was very friendly, welcoming and kind; let us have the buffet since there was plenty of pizza out. That was so very kind. on5/15/15 I ordered a pizza(vegetarian with ham,extra cheese and thick crust) The price was $31.25 wich would be almost ok if I had the ham on it ,if the crust was cooked(i got heart burns all night) For that price for a pizza i expect the best, the main ingredient(tomato sauce was missing) Should the owner/manager want to inspect the leftover i kept it in the freezer,you could find my phone number ,my ticket #was 158. The Pizza Kitchen has decent pizza at ridiculously high prices. We decided to order a small pizza and have it delivered to our hotel. It was advertised as having 6 slices and the price point was in the double digits, so we assumed this would be sufficiently large for the two of us. Unfortunately, the small pizza is fairly small. I would say it was the same size or slightly larger than an individual pizza available with some of the major chains. The six slices went in a hurry, and we ended up having a light dinner. The pizza itself though was decent. It was definitely better than Pizza Hut, but nowhere near as good as Mountain Mike's. The oil content was low, so I was thankful for that. I liked the liberal use of vegetables in our specialty pizza and could taste them individually. The price was out of this world though. The small pizza with tax and delivery charge was $18.19. Not aware of the delivery charge at the time of payment, I tipped $3 more. That is more expensive than the very good and the very famous pizzerias in New York City. I totally could have had a full size pizza at Grimaldi's or Lombardi's at this price point. As such, this place is a bust. The rents are far too low in this area of the country to justify that sort of madness in pricing. Avoid. read more

First off -- I don't agree with people who criticize a business because they think it is overpriced. YELP seems to be the home of "Find Me CHEAP" To some of us, quality is important and paying for something that is good and served the way we want is most important. This place is not outrageously priced, but they don't do what the cheap places do -- which is skimp on quality. To me, a pizza is about the topping. If you get three dinky slices of paper thin pepperoni on a large pizza (cough ... cough ... John's) it ain't no bargain! The food is excellent for what it is. Pizza is not rib-eye steak or prime rib -- it is simple peasant food. Meat and cheese and dough are the bare minimums, and you a good selection of toppings here .... The big difference is customer service. Carl immediately learned my name and my wife's and greets us as friends each time we come in. I order a special pizza not on the menu -- no problem. In fact, Carl comes by my table to make sure it is ok. He also will criticize the pizza, "Oh they didn't give you as much meat as they should!" He's not the only one with this level of attention. I ate the lunch buffet and commented they had three or four variations of pepperoni pizza but no sausage. The cook immediately made a special order pizza -- and didn't charge extra. Pricing is fair ... in fact, when John's lowered their lunch buffet to $4.95 to get customers in during the Ridgecrest Blvd construction, Pizza Factory matched it. That was probably not necessary but illustrates how customer-oriented these people are. I haven't found a better place to suit my tastes in Ridgecrest. I don't eat the exotic pizzas -- I'm pretty traditional. Pizza Factory gets my vote and my money. read more

Great place to unwind with friends and family. Newly built (less than 6 months old as of this review) with a pleasant atmosphere inside. It is refreshing to see a new restaurant open up in Ridgecrest that doesn't look like it was designed in 10 minutes on a $200 budget... The pizza is about a 3/5 overall; certainly not worth driving long distances for, but decent. The crust and sauce are a bit bland for my tastes. Service is very hit or miss... Some days it's great, and other days they will completely forget to make your order (while seemingly not caring about it)! Lastly, the prices are reasonable given that this is the only non fast-food-y pizza place in town. If you are looking for pizza in Ridgecrest, this is your place! read more

Welcome to Ridgecrest Pizza Factory! I am so happy you have come! XXOOXXOO : ) They're located just across from the movie theatre! The restaurant is very spacious and offers outside seating. They have a small arcade to keep the kids entertained. The first time I went, I had a cold and couldn't taste anything. However, I did note the "ooohs" and "aaahs" from everyone else. The second time, I had the beef and garlic pizza and had some chicken wings. "ooooh" and "aaah" The third time I had the lunch buffet and I'd like to announce to everyone that your soul mate can be found in a bread stick! They're the best I've EVER eaten. (Move over John's Pizza cuz Pizza Factory just kicked your crust!) The fourth time I had the lunch buffet again and I drowned my sorrows with the chicken bbq pizza and more bread sticks, it was heaven! The make it yourself salad is pretty nice, plenty of fresh toppings. Downsides: (alas, there are a couple) They don't offer a dessert at the lunch buffet. Soft serve ice cream would be nice (hint hint). Also, I took a bite of what I thought was cheese pizza, only to find a big slice of italian pork meat underneath. It was just a tad bit deceiving, but I forgive them! : ) read more

Good food, good service. Went for lunch they were very busy but the wait wasn't bad. All-you-can-eat bar was always stocked.

The all-you-can-eat lunch special is a good deal. Make sure you try the Garlic and spinach pizza.

Pizza's are a bit pricier than other places but they don't skimp on the toppings. The crust isn't necessarily anything special which sucks but it's not necessarily a deal breaker. Can't compare it to NY pizza but I don't think that'd be fair anyhow. Honey butter is something new and worth it to me (the breadsticks are def tastier than the pizza crust). The salad bar was surprising with its variety of options. Multiple deli salads (pasta, potato, macaroni, etc). Those 3 things makes it a solid meal. It's not going to be as cheap as other chain pizza joints but not a bad option. read more

My family just recently moved to the area. We have been to the location in Porterville and expected great service. Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this location in Ridgecrest. The arcade ticket machine is broken and very loud. The service, with the exception of the young lady that took our order was sub standard. They forgot our daughters potato wedges and the employees are more concerned with trash talking guest and each other. I have worked in food service for more than 20 years and have never experienced being treated like trash. Horrible read more

I frequent Ridgecrest regularly and have been disappointed on the towns selection of places to eat that are decent. Fast food joints abound this town so it was nice to stop in to Pizza Factory for something better. Good pizza, good selection and to top it off I loved the apple pie they had. We chose to have the lunch buffet - not a great choice. The salad bar was well stocked and we were able to make great salads. Sadly, the pizza that was out had been there for a while and was a bit cooler than it should have been. When the hot pizza was put out it was better but, not great. This pizza is yummy! My mom and I have been here a few times and usually get pizza, pasta, and salad. The prices are a little on the steep side but the food is quality. The salad bar is always fresh when we come in and the wait isn't very long no matter how busy they are. The place does get pretty packed sometimes, but that's a good sign! They also have a gluten free pizza which I will try next time I go. I think this is the only place in Ridgecrest that offers a gluten free pizza. The Pizza Factory is a must try! read more

Pizza Factory has always been our favorite place for pizza in town, but the pizza we received on Tuesday has changed our opinion. We ordered a medium pizza, bread sticks, and 2 Caesar salads. The salad and bread sticks were good as always, but the pizza was the worst. It was dry and over cooked. Frankly it tasted like an over cooked frozen pizza. Given that Pizza Factory is the most expensive pizza in town, we expect better. I am sorry to say can no longer recommend this place as the best place to go for pizza. Any pizza place in town is better than what we received the last night. I do want to add that Pizza Factory is always supportive of the community with their fundraising, so we will return. We will just stick to the salad and bread sticks from now on. read more

LOVE there lunch buffet. The place is clean, open and bright. They have roomy booths and regular table seating. The staff is always pleasent and quick to take away used dishes and get you refills if needed. They offer a military discount. We often order delivery and take out and haven't had a problem with the wrong order ever. Our daughter doesn't like pizza, but loves their sketti. There is a little something for everyone and everyone ends up full and happy. read more
