My wife and I had a Caesar Salad and Prego Pizza this week and found it to be very good. We have been seeking out a pizza that stylistically was close to O' Pete's. We like the medium-to-thick style crust that is hand-thrown, and Skipolini's has just that. The price is a little higher, but the size offered made up for it. The next time we visit, we will sit at the bar since the booths are massive for just 2 people. We love the darker ambiance and heavy wood lodge feel to the restaurant as well! It was a bit too warm to sit outside on the patio, but that looked nice as well. Overall, we are glad that we ventured in to check it out. read more

Well, let me start off by saying, unequivocally, I did not come for the Prego Pizza!:) My third visit to Folsom Skipolinis. History is definitely repeating itself. Food, ambiance, and customer service are phenomenal just as they were my first two dining experiences. I definitely was late to the party. Skipolini's was not on my radar until Carmichael friends ask me to meet them here. It is their numero uno pizza spot for sure. Impressed then and equally impressed now after once again consuming salad, pizza, and a glass of wine. I must attest to the freshest and crispiest romaine salad ever! It is now my gold standard for how a salad should taste. Plus, it was huge. Unless you have not eaten in a week, this salad can be and should be shared or for next day's yummy leftovers. We were in group of 10 people including kids! Skipolinis is family friendly and casual. So our little group fit in perfectly. Unfortunately, very little photo taking happening (You may check out my previous visit photos.). But lots of eating, talking and just having a great time over delicious food! The kids were all loving their pizzas! I saw a few lasagna dishes which looked amazing. And a sangria or two also. I may have to try that sangria next time! Speaking of kids... Skipolini's has a super nice outside playground which gets a lot of use in warmer weather. Our waitperson handled the table like a pro! So customer service remains fantastic. Everyone there is most welcoming. Oh, if you are a single or a couple wanting a more low lights, subdued experience... head for the big, beautiful bar. It is set up perfectly to relax and enjoy the vibes. I definitely need to get back to Skipolini's more in 2026! Carve out a little time to enjoy some great food and service "Skipolini" style. Came in with my family and the service was friendly. We ordered the prego pizza and had leftovers to take home. The pizza was filled with toppings and crust was perfect. There is a kids playground we will probably visit next time. We enjoyed the pizza and will be back. read more

So last night my wife and I were undecided where to go eat at since we just got off of work. Being that it was Friday night we decided to make our way towards Chili's where we found this Pizza & Pasta Restaurant called Skipolinis. To me it sounded Italian and being Half-Italian myself, I have to try this place. Like I always do since I'm fond of my Italian heritage. We parked and with plenty of parking we got out of the car and walked up to the front door. As we walked in we were greeted with a friendly young man who had asked if there was just the 2 of us. As we sat down we were then greeted by our Waiter who had asked what would we like to drink. As we were reviewing the menu trying to find something good, I noticed that they had Spaghetti with Marinara and so being that you could also add Meatballs, Chicken or Italian sausage I chose the Meatballs. The waiter advised that the Meatballs were made with Ground Beef & Pork and to my statement "Thats great, I'll take 3 please" It was no more than 5 - 10 minutes that our food arrived. I took a bite of my Meatballs and let me tell you that took me back to my Childhood when my Nonna used to make homemade Meatballs. I chose Penne noodles because I didnt really want regular Spaghetti. My wife chose the Eggplant Parmesan and when she bit into the Eggplant, (The cooking of an Eggplant should be tender) hers was crunchy as if you were biting into an Apple that was almost tender. My wife enjoyed her Spaghetti and Alfredo sauce but she also took a bite of my bread as well. She wasn't really to happy with the Eggplant so the waiter graciously said that he would bring us some Meatballs in replace of the Eggplant since it was crunchy. He returned with 5 Meatballs and just like the ones that I was eating they too were Hot & also delicious as well. Our Waiter Brandon was very friendly, accomodating, Professional and did what he could to make our first time experience at Skipolinis a great experience. The next time we come we are probably gonna try the Calzones and I was very disappointed to know that while they are on the Menu, they didnt have any Cannolis. First time going to this restaurant. Drove 35 mins for a birthday celebration for our two yr old niece in hopes to play outside afterwards. Our waiter had an attitude. I'm not sure if he was upset with his team or is but he took it on our 9 year old niece. He was in mood before we ordered. Was impatient and short. We felt rushed and went outside to finish the celebration to open gifts and have the kids play. We were told to move a few times. Humiliated and embarrassed our 2 toddlers and 9 yr old. A bystander felt bad and regifted a birthday balloon to help make our situation a little better. The kids left too embarrassed to play outside. First time experience was not great 4/10 read more

Very disappointed with my visit. I live In the Folsom fair oaks area and was told of the preggo pizza being good and this place being just as good hospitality wise. Our pizza was brought to our table cold and we had to send it back to be reheated, and before that we ordered the bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers and they were not like the picture advertised at all. The bacon was overcooked, The peppers were burned!!! And all the cheese had melted out of the jalapeños, leave nothing but a burnt small husk with burnt spinach , and bacon. I wish I had taken a picture of the jalapeño poppers because they were super disappointing, not restaurant quality or the price that they were asking. The entire poppers I would expect from an on the side of the road burger joint ! At least that's the quality that was brought to our table The pizza literally was cold! The toppings were just thrown on nothing was baked, although very flavorful and very good, the meat on the pizza was chilled! We ordered a medium Prego pizza with high expectations from all the reviews and word-of-mouth that we heard. . But this place, definitely disappointed and, my husband said we will definitely not be coming back! It was a waste of $60 and not to mention our time we didn't even get to make it to our second venue after dinner because of how long it took to get our food, have our food fixed, and then find our waitress three times to get a check and some water brought to our tables. read more

By the time I get back home and grab a slice to eat, the toppings completely fell off. This review is overdue! My husband and I stumbled across this nice little restaurant after going to the Folsom Outlets. It has a nice outside patio with a play structure for kids. We have been there 3 times now and we've had the same server 2/3 times. The service has been great. You can tell he's been in the industry for a long time. The food has been pretty on point each visit and the portions are very generous, especially for the kids! I ordered the flank steak and asparagus with risotto the last time we went & I was a bit disappointed because the flank steak was just too tough. It was cooked how I asked, but just wasn't it. The risotto, asparagus and shrimp I added were phenomenal! My husband has the same dish every time & that is the Cajun pasta. If you like spice, it's a must try. I grew up going to the original Skipolini's in Clayton and this maintains the same welcoming family vibe and excellent food! Pizza crust that is unlike any other - so fresh, crispy, and fluffy!
