    Pizza without pineapple
    Samuel J.

Didn't put on my pineapple even though I ordered it. Pizza was good though, 4/5. Tried to work with uber eats in terms of refund/partial refund and they said it wasn't valid.

    Artichoke Fiesta
    Arnold L.

My favorite pizza to get here is the Artichoke Fiesta. Its always tasty and fresh and the wait isn't that long when I order inside. The staff is friendly and nice. Inside is clean and they have a couple of chairs for you to sit on and TVs for you to watch if you are waiting on your order. The parking lot is very small and terribly designed, sometimes I have to park on the street. They have a quality pizza at a quality price.

    Antipasto Salad
    Dela P.

So pizza guys is a bit more affordable than other pizza places. Their pizza isn't bad either. However, the salad is horrible. You get a whole bowl of lettuce for 10.99. I really wanted a good antipasto salad- and well it is a whole bowl of lettuce with a couple of ingredients laid on top. I do love their creamy pesto chicken pasta. Lesson learned- I was just trying to get something easy after a stressful day at work! Next

Medium 12" thin crust w/ olives, mushrooms, and tomatoes
    Jon G.

Pizza Guys are actually pretty good for a chain. Although you will still pay more for a pizza in town than in most other towns, they are a bit better priced. I appreciate the topping options that go beyond the standard boring and limited ones that everybody else has. And I recommend their thin crust. They do a decent sauce to cheese ratio which many get wrong. Minus one star because: a- they do not state on their web site what the actual sizes of the pizzas are, just "small, medium, etc." And b- because like many others, they have downgraded their sizes, so their medium is 12", whereas mediums have always been 14".

Pizza arrived on time. Crust was soggy undercooked, sauce was good. The pizza would be good if they cooked it properly.

The place gets busy fast, which is always a good sign, and the food absolutely lives up to the hype. Everything tastes fresh, hot, and made with care. The appetizers are consistently a standout, and the potato skins are a must. Get them Sicilian style. They're savory, satisfying, and the kind of starter everyone at the table keeps reaching for. Honestly, they set the tone for the whole meal. A quick tip: get there early, ideally right when they open. The parking lot is small and fills up quickly, but there is extra parking along the side of the building and behind it, which helps. Still, this is definitely the kind of place where arriving early makes the whole experience easier. And save room for dessert. Seriously. You have to get dessert. This is not the place to skip it. Yes, you may have to wait a bit, but that's part of the deal with well-loved local restaurants like this. The good news is your patience pays off. Guantonio's is warm, welcoming, delicious, and absolutely worth the wait. Here's a slightly punchier version too, in case you want it to sound even more like a real Yelp post: Guantonio's is such a gem in Lodi and definitely one of those local favorite spots that people keep coming back to for a reason. The food is always fresh, flavorful, and worth every bit of the wait. The appetizers are so good, but the potato skins are the real star. Order them Sicilian style. So good. Crispy, hearty, and packed with flavor. One of those appetizers you start thinking about before you even come back. Pro tip: come early, right when they open, because this place fills up fast. The main parking lot is pretty small, but there's more parking on the side of the building and behind it. Once you know that, it's a lot easier. Also, do yourself a favor and get dessert. Don't even debate it. This place gets busy, the wait can build, but your patience will absolutely pay off. Guantonio's is 100% worth it.

We obliged, but that was a service mistake I guess. Because once we were moved, every single table in the entire restaurant ends up getting some form of food on their table before the appetizer we ordered, fried potatoes, was brought to our table. I was literally looking for our waitress to complain as our food was coming out the door. As for the potatoes, my wife and I both thought they were average, and not worth the steep price...for fried potatoes. Now for the pizzas. Both my wife and I were happy with the pizzas. Both were tasty and cooked with the wood fired method I love. I was not the biggest fan of the crust, I'm a crust snob, and while the texture of this crust was great, the flavor was lacking. Again, overall, pretty good, despite the early slow service. But if I'm driving for pizza, I'm heading to Pizza Norcia.

Out of this world. The breading was thin and crispy, and the dipping sauce was yummy. We had the catch of the day. It came with risotto that was perfectly seasoned and cheesy. My friend had the Parpadelle. She said it was prepared perfectly, and al dente just like she likes it. We definitely would return for some more spins around the menu. I have to say, it was impressive. We had reservations at 4:45 PM on a Thursday for a birthday celebration - and was fortunate to find good parking. The first time I went to Pietro's, they had fish and risotto special. Every time I've went, they always had the fish and risotto special - and ordered it every time - because it is THAT good! This time I ordered the risotto special without the fish and it was especially delicious. Pietro's has an amazing menu and quite a few menu items I would love to try - but I just can't pass up the risotto - because it is THAT good! Pietro's evolved from a small family favorite restaurant to what you would expect at a fine dining franchised establishment. The mood is always vibrant and positive. And the service is even better. This is an "order at the register" place which is right in front of the door, so it gets cramped if there is a line. Pizzas are what I would describe as "European style", so don't expect a family sized pie. They are for the individual, or parties that wish to order multiples and share. Crust is thin. I order extra tomato sauce because almost every pizza joint skimps on sauce. I've only ever ordered olives and mushrooms, a personal fav. It's always good, but dispersement of toppings can vary. Though quality is good, price is a bit high. I can get a large at a number of spots around town for less. But sometimes you want quality over quantity. I've never eaten at the establishment, but have always waited for my to-go order. They tend to play pop-country music fairly loud, which competes with the Mexican place next door. Clashing loud music is never a good thing. Keep it ambient and neutral. They always want to give me a plastic bag with paper plates and utensils. Great if I asked for them if I were going on a picnic. But I'm just bringing it home, so no need so better to ask ahead of time instead of bringing it to me at delivery. Just a thought. People there are mostly nice, or at the very least, just above indifferent, what you might expect from young people now days. I'll be back. Not open on Mondays.
