Where shall I start? To begin with, i came to this pizza place with a few friends of mine after class and ordered a couple of items. We got the cheezee garlic rolls, a large combination pizza, a small curry chicken pizza, and some wings. Each and every single item we tried left us wanting more and to come back and try again! The customer service is great, this pizza place is under new management, and they're doing a great job at taking care of their customers! This pizza place is amazing! I ordered a pizza to be sent to a friend after we had an argument as an apology pizza and they went above and beyond! I asked for them to write "I'm sorry" on a cheese pizza in any toppings they had and they wrote it in olives and it was so adorable! They texted me a picture of the pizza to make sure it was okay and called when they delivered it to my friend who was hysterically laughing when they got it. This location does it right, considering it's in the ghetto. The quality is good and when you can use a coupon the prices are great also. Let's make this nice and simple: Placed an order for about $50.00 + tip, only to be delivered an un-sealed pizza and 2 incorrect ordered items. Apparently, Pizza Guys aren't aware or could care less, there's a damn global pandemic taking place. I ask driver for correct items, he shrugs off like it's not his issue to think about, drives off. After all, he's already been tipped. He's outta here! I call Pizza Guys, I inform them they got my order wrong, they tell me the Driver delivered to me, the wrong order. "Call DoorDash for help or drive to our place to pick up the right order". Isn't the whole purpose of delivery is to have YOUR food delivered TO YOU? I'm working, I can't just leave my home. Passin' the buck might be the new thing, but accountability and making things right to a customer, seem to be all but an afterthought. When something is wrong, you take ownership, you offer a refund or you make it right for the sake of owning up to your mistake(s). A business should not insinuate to a customer, it's not their issue and pass you off to an online medium-point, or make a customer drive to your place of business in order to get an order corrected. But the pizza is small and extremely low on toppings for the price. See photos. There is literally 1 of each topping item on each individual pizza slice. Pretty sad. I wanna preface by saying that we ordered wings for dinner so this review is probably going to be pretty useless for anyone looking to buy pizza from this place. Me and my coworker are in Oakland on a business trip and decided we were craving wings tonight and stumbled on this restaurant. Since we flew in and are staying at a hotel it's much cheaper to pay a delivery fee rather than go out to eat so our options for wings were limited to pizza shops on a separate delivery app, hence our order from here. I ordered the mango habanero wings, the cinnamon twists, and a Sierra Mist. When we ordered the wings it showed a picture of bone in wings (again this was on a separate app) which is misleading considering they only offered boneless, but I was still expecting a decent amount of meat when I ordered the 10 piece. Instead what I got was 10 deep fried chicken poppers about the size of donut holes. While the sauce was excellent, there did not seem to be enough of it. Additionally, they charge you extra to add a dipping sauce so it cost another $0.75. Not a big deal, but it adds up for multiple orders, and I'm honestly not sure I would've enjoyed the wings without it. I do have to say, for chicken poppers, they were cooked well; not too greasy and still moist inside so not altogether unpleasant just left us wanting more, especially for what we were anticipating. Finally, the cinnamon twists were equally misleading. The description describes "cinnamon flavored freshly baked pastry dough and vanilla icing" which to me sounds like puffy, light, dough covered in cinnamon but instead ended up literally being two-inch-long churros with a side of icing. Now I'm a fan of churros, but not 15 miniature ones and certainly not when it wasn't what I had in mind when I ordered it. Again they were cooked well but if this is the product you're selling I would recommend either including a picture or slightly altering the description. Delivery orders should usually be taken with a grain of salt but considering the delivery itself didn't seem to impact the food (besides the wing sauce quantity, probably) I would stick to the pizza. I didn't want to rate it lower because again the food was cooked well, but I can't say I wasn't disappointed. Hoping they make some improvements to the items or their descriptions in the future as I feel they have a lot of potential to be a great place to grab some wings. read more
