Nothing special. Typical mass produced chain pizza. Crust was a little tougher than I have experience. This place is a little lower than Mountain Mikes. Garlex is the better of the Three. Still have not found a really good pizza place around here for NY still pizza. Only good thing is that the pizza was 2 for $20. read more

I've ordered from Pizza Guy's in Pleasanton before, but tonight was a disappointment. I agree that their pizza is good, but their customer service has something to be desired. Tonight I ordered for delivery and got a text telling me it was on its way. After 30 minutes I called to report it hadn't been delivered. They checked into it and said that it had been delivered and maybe somebody stole it. I was in the front room the whole time... no one stole it. It was delivered to the wrong address! There was no apology, just an offer to remake the order and delivery 45 minutes later. As it was almost 8p.m. I asked for a refund instead. I never got an apology... just seems like poor customer service. read more

Positives: They deliver as late as 9:33 (they close at 10 p.m.) and I was told they would take an order as late as 9:59 p.m. although I'm incredulous. On a business trip in the Livermore,CA area. Wanted to have some wings and a salad. The wings, what a joke. I have never seen such baby wings!! The chickens they come from can't be more than 1 pound. I can normally eat 12 to 15 wings so I ordered 2 ten piece orders. They made a nice appetizer but certainly not a meal. The salad was a nice side salad size for $7. What a difference new management makes!! Don't be swayed by old negative reviews. Give them a shot! Great pizza at a price that can't be beat. (My kids are addicted to Ham and pineapple.) I've lived around the corner from this location for 4 years. Tried it when i first moved in and was as not impressed. I was a dedicated Mtn mikes patron but found that my weekly visits were getting very costly. I gave Pizza Guys a try with a coupon about 9 months ago and now I ONLY go to them. Ken (who is the owner, I think) always makes me feel special and really all the employees go out of their way to provide excellent service. I only pick up since I live so close, so I can't speak to delivery. But once I phone in an order it's usually ready in about 12 min. If you've had a bad experience in the past or never tried I highly recommend giving them a call! read more

This is my go to pizza place while I'm at work... I've never been a fan of pizza (I know I know who doesn't like pizza) but I literally love their California Garlic Chicken pizza! So delish! We found Pizza Guys quite by accident a few months ago and we are glad we did. The pizzas are good. Unlike the other pizza parlors in Pleasanton the pizzas are just what we ordered - Always! And we are always treated as an important customer. The 2nd time we went in we were greeted, acknowledged and remembered as returning customers. They have been collecting food for the food bank throughout the holidays and when we took in a bag of groceries they said thank you! Ken (I think he may be the manger) is great. We were excited to have another pizza joint close to home. An XL was $12, althought I'd say this is like a large at many other places. We had the pepperoni and the bottom of the crust was so greasy. It really would have been fine chain pizza had it not been so greasy. You get a choice of a 2-liter or an ice cream if you pick-up, but I don't think that will enough to get us to go back. read more

We have been getting our take out pizza here since it opened, and we're fans! We like the thinnest crust, with roasted garlic (the best!). Pizza Guys always has our order on time and as requested, and it's delicious. Their prices are good, especially with a coupon, and the service is great. These guys are awesome!! They always make my pizza exactly the way I want it! I'm not a simple pepperoni and cheese pizza eater. We always order two pepperoni and Italian sausage with one pizza half cheese only, both pizzas with extra sauce. Ken is awesome. He's always really friendly and remembers me when I come in. Delivery came much sooner than expected; we placed our order online at around 7pm & the website stated our order would arrive at 7:50. Tried Pizza Guys for the first time via delivery. Ordered the Hawaiian Delight and the California Garlic Chicken. The Hawaiian was supposed to have the Tuscany thin crust and the chicken was supposed to have the original crust. Both had the same crust. When we opened one of the lids we found a small hair sitting on the plastic pizza saver. The red onions on the garlic chicken pizza still had skins on it. I hate yelp reviews. Like really loathe them. But enough is enough. I order a lot from this particular restaurant. They are one of the few that offer BBQ sauce as an alternative to regular sauce. BUT when your pizza is swimming in sauce, to the point that you can't even eat it - it's too much. Extra cheese. Yeah right. You can see the crust and the sauce through the lack of regular amounts of cheese. Nothing beats spending nearly $50 on a pizza and it not being editable. read more
