This place has been on my list to try for a while and finally got a chance. I am not out that way too often and they only open a couple of hours for lunch and dinner is reserved pizzas only no slices. During the day they have a limited number of slices and list the available quantities on a whiteboard. I came around 1pm on a Friday and they still had all the slices although they were close to sold out of a few. Staff are incredibly warm and friendly. Make you feel very welcome. The space is also fun and retro like, with plenty of seating. The pizza is amazing, definitely some of the best in the Bay Area and I would rank it top 3 for slices. Great crisp, nice undercarriage, no flop, when you bite in you get a nice chew which is what you want. Tomato sauce and flavors are also great. Overall one of the best pizzas in the greater Bay Area. Honestly, one of the better tasting NY slices (if not the best around here in the Bay Area), but I've been twice and they always seem to really burn the pizzas. I thought it was a one off, but I've been multiple times and all pizzas were more or less the same. Not a great experience. What a cool pizza place!!! The service was super friendly and we got there right when the opened so we could order a whole pie for the kids. What can I say, the pepperoni pizza was awesome. I am not a pizza person so we don't normally go to a pizza joint unless necessary. However my son really want to try this place so as a good mom I agreed. ONE OF THE HEST PIZZA I HAVE HAD!!! We heard some pizza sell out quick so we arrived just before it opened. There are games around so kids can be entertained as well. A bit noise with a big TV, but that is expected for a pizzeria. Service was good and we got some recommendations. Yummy is all I can say! The crust was thin enough but not too thin for people like me who enjoy the dough as much as toppings... sometimes even more than the toppings. The toppings are generous and fresh. I ordered 2 pies for a Halloween Friends Meet UP. It was so easy online, luckily I did it a week in advance. Friendly owner even added Veggies I missed when I originally ordered via e-mail. We did take out...so no experience with the shop. They were very efficient and friendly. Sadly no pie pictures...but there are many existing, they looked like that. We had a Sausage, Bell Pepper, and Mushroom , and a Cheese. Huge Pies...sadly they needed some time in the oven since we live 15 minutes away, so they were not in tip top condition. Note that they can only make so many pizzas at a time so the slots fill up quickly and often you can't just walk in and order. If you are placing an order for 3+ pies you have to call to place your order instead of doing it online. PARKING - no issues, it's in a random strip mall area close to costco in livermore. ATMOSPHERE - we like coming here with our kids because they have little games like jenga, bowling, mini basketball for the kids to entertain themselves before they get food or afterwards. They have one lower picnic style table and then high tops but it seems like most people do take out instead of eating there. I didn't see any high chairs. They also have a TV playing something usually and music to make the place lively. FOOD - for 2 kids and 4 adults we got 3 pizzas, which was definitely enough. Their slices are large and the pizza comes out fresh/hot so eat it right when you get it otherwise it starts to lose its crisp. The pizza is similar to a new york style thin crust pizza with a crispy crust that holds up when you hold it, the end crust is slightly chewy with a crisp/crunch and their toppings are very good. I will say that sometimes it is a little on the saltier side and I drink a lot of water afterwards but definitely worth it. The fan favorite is their hot honey burrata pizza. My sister sent me their instagram and I knew I had to go. I don't know how I haven't heard of them before. The pizza was incredible. As a big foodie who has had many amazing pizzas this was perfect! The woman working at the counter was sooo sweet! They were sold out of the burrata and she told me they were getting more ingredients later for when they open up again later in the day so I was debating on coming back for that but she asked the man cooking if they had enough to do half and they did! I thought that was so extremely kind of them and I was so grateful! Even though I would've been happy to even try the pepperoni she went the extra mile which was so sweet! Corner Slice sits in the old Fratellos location, and is using the pizza oven for good, not evil. The Wife and I stopped by, and found the games and surroundings amusing. We ordered one pie, half cheesus crust, and half with mushrooms. It only took about ten minutes, since no one else was there. After we played some Connect Four, the pizza emerged, smelling perfect. The crust was just like we Easterners prefer, thin and crispy. The sauce was a bit sweet to my taste, and The Wife agreed, but not a big problem. I'm also not a huge fan of Parmesan on top of the mozzarella, but that seems to be standard today. Overall, we were very pleased, and will return. The price was a bit dear ($30 for basic 18 inch pie), so maybe not often. read more
