I had the chance to try Pizza Guys for the first time and I was impressed. I had the California Garlic Chicken pizza. It was crispy, tasty, and a good sized pizza. I enjoyed the garlic creamy flavor with the chicken. I substituted the red/green onions with mushrooms and fresh tomatoes. In the future I would lay off on the tomatoes if not eaten right away. Brand new pizza shop I tried while in the area. It is a small shop with no dine in, and I got the mediterranean pizza to-go. The amount of toppings they put on the pizza is very generous and overall the pizza was very good! When walking into shop, all of the staff members were welcoming and very friendly. That plus some of their amazing garlic knots and we ate for several meals. I also feel like their crust and pizza got much better than the last time I had it. We also had the stuffed crust for the first time here, and it was a favorite amongst the kids. Pizza is always delicious. But the customer service team s impeccable!! I had an issue with my card and their charges on my card. I tried ordering online and their website charged me 4 times. I called in store and they were more than accommodating. The gentleman that was taking my order was very understanding and when I spoke to him, and the owner( who was in the background) they helped me with everything I needed. Also, if you pick up from their location in San Carlos, they give you a free 2-liter soda or small pint of ice cream for orders over $25. I've ordered the spicy fireworks pizza, buffalo chicken wings, cheezee garlic bread and cheezee pesto bread, all of which are delish and I highly recommend. They have an assortment of options, including gluten-free crusts, so I'm sure you can't go wrong no matter what you get. In my opinion "Just OK" I got delivery one night at work recently. A large pizza delivered about 5 miles was just under $40! It was slightly warm on arrival and like i said before just ok. Nothing to write home about.I world rather hit a cheap chain pizza as this is not that much above in quality. Try it but its not for me. read more

First time here and I was pleasantly surprised! Just drove by on a whim and pulled over looking for some pizza for our group other than Costco pizza ;) we walked in without calling ahead and ordered 2 large pizzas - there was a special for $19.99 for large pizza up to 3 toppings or a specialty pizza plus a free ice cream or 2L soda! Not bad considering the prices are $28.49 normally for a large pizza. Got the pepperoni for the kiddos in the group and spinach garlic chicken. Large has 12 slices. Taste was great! Pizza was fresh and hot. Ingredients were really plentiful and not skimpy. Generous on the meats. The garlic chicken Flavor was especially yummy! Very satisfying. Perfect crust. No comparison to your chain places like dominos or Costco etc. definitely a different level as expected. Place is really clean. Was fairly fast considering I didn't order ahead and was busy- but actually only took about 15mins total. are friendly and seem hard working. No sit down just takeout. Plenty of easy free parking right in front. Delivery options too. Options were to get different crusts such as thin, stuffed, thick- even gluten free. Sauces were signature red, white, and some other fun ones like Kogi Serrano, Chipotle, Spicy bbq etc!! Haven't seen those options at other places. Lots of tasty specialty pizza options. Guy on the phone at 5:10pm was super condescending to begin with and sounded like we were bothering him. We asked if our order would be on time and was given a bunch of reasons and how you have a lot of pre-orders. Ok no problem but change the app to show a delay. Then while my husband was still asking a question, he puts him on hold. comes back on the line and says your order hasn't even been made yet. Soundied like what's our problem, just wait. we had to pull teeth and ask the questions then asked if it would be another hour. guy says yes. we needed to know so we can feed the kids. Cool new pizza place in San Carlos that you should check out! I put in my takeaway order through doordash and when I got to Pizza Guys, a smiling team member was there to greet me and ask my name. She immediately found my pizza and gave it to me, while also asking if I needed red pepper and cheese (I didn't, but glad they ask instead of giving you a bunch of packets that go to waste). We got the pesto garlic breadsticks and supreme xl on thin crust. Both were fresh and tasted good. Really liked the breadsticks portion. Other pizza places usually give you a skimpy portion (4-5 pieces), but theirs 12 pieces and packed in a cardboard box so it stays crisp. I'd definitely check them out again! read more

With so many pizza places around the area you may think it's just another pizza joint, but I think this is my go to pizza place from now on. Good pie and good deals.
