This pizza isn't winning any awards, but it's also not getting voted off the island. The best thing about it? It's huge--so if quantity over quality is your vibe, you're in luck. Flavor-wise, it was just kinda... there. The sauce was lounging on top like it had nowhere else to be. The pizza was just so.....soggy and I kept hoping for that old-school NY magic from years ago--but alas, nostalgia wasn't on the menu. It's no longer owned by the same guy. We ordered our Pizzas by phone. When we arrived, there is a pick up window outside where you pick up your food. There are a few tables outside of you wish to consume your Pizza there. They have a two slice special in case you are not that hungry or want a quick lunch to take out Pizza was very good. Got the lunch special - 2 slices of cheese and a can of soda or bottle of water. Slices are big and it's a great value for the amount of food you get. Flavor is solid for a "ny slice". Cheese has that expected tang and good cheese grease and pull. Served piping hot although not fresh made it was still good. My main complaint is that it had burnt semolina all over it which really took away from the taste and it was super floppy. You walk up to the half door to order. No searing inside although they have a couple of picnic tables outside. Staff was nice, ordering is quick and only took 5 mins to get the slices. read more

Worst pizza ever. I'm from NY and this is not NY pizza. I attempted the NY fold and the amount of grease that came off was enough to fill a shot glass, not joking. Poor quality ingredients! Oh and the service is horrible, took 22 minutes to get my lunch special of 2 slices and a coke. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I ordered one of their larger combos that comes with two extra large pizzas, 10 wings, and eight cans of ginger ale... I ordered the pizza and the pizzas OK... The pizza itself is pretty good with all the toppings cheese and sauce... However, the crust is OK... I prefer crust that are a little bit more on the chewy side... The crust is a little bit on the dry side. I ordered garlic Parmesan wings... The flavor was great! However, it definitely needs to be crispy... I received soggy wings... It was great after I put it in the air fryer. It was a great deal for two extra large pizzas and wings and soda for 40 bucks. read more

Received pizza the other day. It was very good but not hot. But the large cuts remind me of the pizza back home like back home.. It's still worth a call back again for delivery. It's that good. I'll just have my pizza plate hot in the oven to put the pizza on when it comes. Put it in for 5 minutes and serve. read more

Probably some of the worst pizza and wings I've ever had in my life. The bbq chicken pizza had so much bbq sauce you had to wipe it off and is made with frozen, breaded chicken tenders that are as hard as a rock and freezer burned. The dominator pizza was better however that's not saying much. They made the pizza and threw raw tomatoes on top. The wings have so much fat they are inedible and have a horrible odor to them and hoping we don't get sick from them!! For all the rave reviews either we ordered ALL the wrong things or people don't know good food. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and will not be back. Much better pizza places in the Brandon area. OKAY PIZZA! 6 out of 10! I stopped ordering food chain pizzas in support of local business, that and I'd like to think they are better than chain stores. However, this place isn't that big of a disappointment if you only order the pizza. I got a large pepperoni with wings and a soda and the damn wings and sauce kinda sucked @SS. The wings were for sure frozen wings hat you put in the over type deal and not fried; they were soggy, unevenly cooked and the sauce came in a little bag and they sucked. In conclusion, I'd stick with the pizza coz everything else kinda sucked! read more

I always refer to Pizza Haven as Brandon's hidden gem. And I literally mean hidden gem besince it's tucked away behind the Walgreens on the corner of Parsons and Highway 60. It's at the far end of the strip center adjacent to the parking lot of Walgreens, where Subway is located. This pizzeria seems to head been built to handle social distancing. right now the inside counter and few tables are closed you pick up your pizza order from the outside window. They have very clear signage for social distancing and marked off X's on the sidewalk to assist in safe waiting. And now to the important stuff the quality of their pizza is bar none! I've been calling in my pizza order @ Pizza Haven for years. My order is always ready when they quote me a time. My family loves the Gator Special, consisting of two large pizzas with one topping - we get a cheese and pepperoni, garlic knots or chicken wings and a 2 liter of soda. We ALWAYS order the knots! Those garlic knots are literally the best garlic knots we've had since we moved to the area 15 years ago!! Do not order pizza from Pizza Haven without adding garlic knots you will knot regret it... Sadly, we just found out Pizza Haven has new owners. It definitely explains the overcooked garlic knots. The pizza wasn't cut and well, the sausage was not well spread out. Such a heart breaking disappointment. We've been going to pizza haven for 7 years. Now it's time to move on and find a new pizza place read more

if I could go lower I would. I used to eat here with the old owners . it's no longer as good. super greasy and burnt , just plain gross . not to mention they increased their prices since the switch. Foods Mid. wouldn't eat here . Babes is right by it and they offer better pizza. read more

This is my go to place during my lunch break. Best Pizza in the area, even if you have to do the drive it is worth it! At one point I lived in Tampa and made the drive out here to Brandon just to get Pizza haven. LUMCH SPECIAL: 2 NY style pizza slices and a drink for $5.55 Their chicken parmesean is good. I think there must be new owners or something. Last 2 times I have been disappointed. First time order was wrong. Second time I think they missed my online order and when I come to pick up it was not ready then I got what looked like their slices pizza with ingredients thrown on top and put back in oven. Stumbled upon this hole in the wall a while back. So glad I did! I love stopping in here for a weekday lunch treat while I'm out running errands. A slice + drink is just under $5. The crust is thin and crispy, just the way I like it! One slice is a very large portion so it's like eating 2 slices. Served hot, fresh and made to order. Garlic knots are the best item on the menu! To die for!! They will take longer than your pizza but well worth the wait. They prepare them to order, nothing waiting in the fridge or freezer. You can actually watch b them roll the dough and twist into knots before baking. You won't be disappointed! Table seating for 12 and 2 at the counter. This is one of two of our favorite Pizza spots in the area. It has the closest thing to NY pizza that we have found. The cheese pizzas are delicious. Their wings are amazing and cooked just right. I've passed this place for years and tonight the stars aligned (I'm usually too late passing by and they are closed). I was excited to try it and here's my thoughts PRO's - toppings are definitely fresh and in abundance, the dough has a sweetness to it which is delicious, but it seemed like it could have been a tad warmer (granted it took me 15 minutes to get home so I take it in stride). The garlic knots were surprising as they are these cute little knots that are bite sized CON's - the hours are short and while the pizza was good, it wasn't "great!" I would order again, but only as my 2nd choice place in Brandon.....I do prefer the place down the road by Wal-Mart, but overall pretty good! read more

I moved to Brandon from Long Island in 1989 and of course had to find a good pizza place; which was not easy here in Florida. Little did I know the little place nearest to me would turn out to be a "taste of home" for this New Yorker! I have since tried other places when Pizza Haven is closed but none compares. Crust is thin but not hard, toppings & cheese are always generous. Stromboli is wonderful and calzone is also great not like some with thick crusts. I need to try their hand held meat pies. I had to finish cooking the Calzone at home because It didn't have the melted cheeses (they took it out of the oven without being ready) and the cheese had a bad taste, I had to throw it away. We were a trio of old-time Brandon residents, back to visit friends and relatives. Naturally, first thing we wanted to check out was some food! Well, after we got caught up on the gossip and all. All three of us were doing the online food finder thing. My buddy mentioned he saw Babe's still had their sign up. WHAT????? No way, man. They closed a while back. Supposed to have some kind of diner or something going into that building. That's when, through the magic of the internet, we found the listing for Babe's. It mentioned nothing about being closed. In fact, it listed the hours of service. Hmmmmmmm, we were thinking. Then, we started reading the reviews. The most RECENT reviews. Never mind some of the old ones. That is no longer relevant history. Best pizza, one guy says. It's just like it always was, says another. NOTHING has changed. Well, THAT was good enough for some long-time Babe's patrons. We jumped in the car and headed out. NO NEED for GPS. WE knew the way. The place was pretty busy. Dine in AND a LOT of takeout orders. The owner, Nick, immediately welcomed us and truly made us feel welcome. Over the course of our meal, he and a few other staff stopped by to ensure all of our double decker needs were being met! We were VERY impressed with the high level of care and service. Even better when my 'side' salad arrived. It was HUGE. We all shared it and we dang near got full on just that. And then, the moment of truth appeared.... This super nice young lady was walking towards us, with a VERY familiar sight. The arousing aroma hit us before she even got to our table. When she parked that sizzling double decker Babe's Special down on our table, we WERE transported back in time. To the last time we dined at Babe's. AND, to the FIRST time we ever dined at Babe's! NOT one thing about anything has changed. Double YUMMMMMMMM! Thank you, Nick and the Babe's gang! Welcome home....

The Spicy Pep-N-Rollie was unique & satisfying. The No Brainer Deluxe pizza was fresh & hot. The crust was pretty average. Not my favorite crust, but everything else tasted good. The veggie toppings are chopped too small in my opinion. Having larger cut veggies is a personal preference. The taste was all there. What sets them apart from other pizza chains are the friendly owners. They are very hands on with their business, and provide great service. They really care, and support community projects including animal rescue and hurricane relief. Check it out if you happen to be in the area. I'm looking forward to trying the garlic knots and half baked cookies. I love the branding & creative menu item names. It's cool & fun!
