First time here. Not much parking. There's a patio to sit outside. It's pretty dark inside. They have vegan food here too. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, wings, & zucchini sticks. We also ordered a pizza half sausage & half pepperoni. The zucchini sticks are really hot when they come out. Wish it had more flavor. The mozzarella sticks were a bit crunchy, it comes with marinara sauce(not that great) taste better with ranch. They charge extra for ranch. The wings taste like barro wings, not to bad. The pizza was okay, the crust is really good. Maybe you can find a Groupon but they add a tip. read more

Wonderful place for pizza with an entire vegan menu which was a real treat for me. We had the vegan vegetarian pizza on hand thrown dough. It was delicious. We also split a garden salad. Y'all, I LOVE me a family owned dining establishment. I've lived in uptown for years and always drive past this place, promising myself to stop some day. Now here I am, years later kicking myself for not stopping sooner. We ordered pick up, after making the ever so hard choice of fried zucchini or mozzarella...we went with zucchini and GOODNESS. Golden brown fried perfection. We did an order of the baked ziti with sausage (hold on to your yoga pants ladies, this ones big enough to share) and the Cajun chicken Alfredo. Both of which came with the most deliciously soft, warm, well seasoned focaccia bread, perfect for dunking in that amazing ziti sauce. Yummmm! The pasta was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and every bite was just like a cute little Italian momma was kissing both sides of your cheek. Our bag came dressed in appreciation, and a coupon, which just made me love the place all the more. It was cute, homey, and a place we will now make our first stop when we are craving pasta, pizza, Italian or just a little touch of home. Check it out, dine in is open (mask required) or take out... but do yourself a favor and go here next time you think Olive Garden sounds good... because this, will knock some sense into ya! A vegan's dream come true!!! I have had this place on my radar for SO long and finally got to try it a few days ago. I ordered online and was told it would take 15 minutes. We hopped in the car to pick up our order, and it ended up being 45 minutes. Suggestion for the restaurant - tweak your online order system so you don't mislead customers. I was not hangry or in a rush, so it was no big deal for me, but may be for others. I actually walked into an angry customer about not having his order in the system. I was not acknowledged for a 15-20min and had to go up to the counter to make it a point to say something. They were crazy busy - I get that, but the flow of things were awkward and uncomfortable at some points as I watched customers go through the same process as me. We ordered the veggie balls and a vegan veggie pizza. The veggie balls were good - resembled veggie bites from Costco, but extra deep fried. I would have it again, but there is so much more on their menu that I'd like to try. The pizza was one of the best that I've had since going vegan. The melt of the cheese was perfect - as perfect as vegan cheese can melt. Toppings were fresh, and the crust was perfect. Will be visiting PHB again and recommending to friends/family! read more

As neighborhood pizza spots go, this is top notch. This cozy joint is unassuming when you walk in and we were warmly greeted and sat outside on the patio. They have a huge vegan menu which was IMPRESSIVE. I asked for a sample of the sangria as I tend to be a "tiny bit picky" and they accommodated me with a 2 OZ pour which allowed the whole table to try it as well :) Not too sweet with just the right amount of tart. No cough syrup tasting sangria at this place! Let's jump to what we really care about... FOOD! The group of five I was with are true foodies so they ordered quite a few of the appetizers. The bites of mozzarella sticks and focaccia bread were good, but not life-changing. However, just being honest the fries were not worth the calories. Guys, it's a pizza joint so I wasn't shocked :-) The food came out fast and the service was GREAT! As far as pizza, we settled on two XL pizzas- the "works pizza" and the "pizza bianca". I didn't try the works but it looked tasty. However, the STAR of the show for me was the pizza Bianca!! The garlic, cheese, and chicken combo with the white sauce... was superb! I had about two pieces as they were large pieces and the group had a bunch to take home after :-) The pizza was the true star of the show as was the ambiance! Nice neighborhood spot and Maritsa made sure we enjoyed our meal. We also interacted with Chris who was lovely! The only thing to note for all you cool yelpers out there... the parking is tight! We parked in the little book that doesn't look like a parking area (but it is). To be even more specific, we parked in front of the trash can HAHA. Our car was there when we left so no issues there :) Therefore, for me this is a solid 4/5 stars! I would recommend this to anyone looking for a dinner out! read more

We just moved, and we could barely find the shower curtain, let alone pans, so we headed to Pizza Heaven for dinner. I chose it because my dad is an omnivore, whereas my husband and I are vegans. Everyone was happy because the menu had a lot for everyone! We split a garden salad to start, which was plenty big for three people. The vegan ranch was excellent, and dad was satisfied with the Italian. For entrees, my husband and I shared, splitting my vegan baked ziti with soy sausage and his calzone with soy sausage and roasted red peppers. I had the chicken alfredo and my friend had the Cajun Chicken Alfredo. The pasta was cooked nicely but was not made fresh. The alfredo sauce tasted like it came from a jar. It was thin and lacked flavor. The bread served with my alfredo was bland and tasted like it was made with just flour and salt. The drinks however were tasty and probably the best part of our meal. Got take out from pizza heaven last night for my kid and myself. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs for my little. He ate all of the meatballs and his helping of pasta with no begging and pleading. That's a win in my book! We also ordered the vegan bread sticks and vegan chipotle pasta. I am not vegan but I am dairy sensitive so I rarely get to eat a good cream sauce or breadsticks. This pasta dish was incredible. Super yummy spicy cream sauce with vegan sausage that tasted like the real thing. I'm obsessed! The portions were big enough to have lunch today. Pizza Heaven Bistro introduced a new vegan menu last Tuesday! I've attached pictures of it. PHB sits right on 7th St. It appears they have new patio seating and a glass partition to screen out traffic noise. It's nice. PHB is clean. The wait is staff friendly and engaging. I think the prices are just a bit high, but people seem happy with the quality of the food. While I was there they were very busy with families arriving to dine and multiple people picking up pizzas. I ordered a Veggieballs starter with vegan Buffalo sauce. The veggieballs were flavorful and delicious with a great Buffalo sauce! Good. Then a vegan Calzone with vegan sausage added, and finally a baked veggieball sandwich. All good and delicious! Pizza Heaven Bistro is a solidly good restaurant where their mission is to serve laid-back, decent, Italian comfort food. The definition of the word Bistro is: a small or unpretentious restaurant. That's PHB. They serve decent food with modest ingredients. Unsurprising and good. If you're in the mood for unpretentious Italian food to eat while binge watching from your streaming service, then Pizza Heaven Bistro has you covered. Pizza Heaven brings so much joy to the Phoenix vegan community. The owner has created a vegan menu that complements the normal omni menu. It's not an after-thought, it's an informed, exciting menu for those who grew up eating Italian classics. To start - the veggie balls are incredible! They are crispy and filled with mixed veggies. I love the "crunch" I get when I bite into one. I'm torn between the marinara and Buffalo sauces. Both are so good! While I've tried the vegan pizzas, sausage parm sandwich, calzone and ravioli before, the vegan baked ziti is hands down one of the best vegan pasta dishes I've ever had. A good baked ziti is a work of art. Theirs is a Da Vinci. I think they make the sausage in house. The cheese is Follow Your Heart, which melts well and doesn't have too much flavor. They somehow managed to get the right crispness to flavorful grease ratio - just like classic baked ziti. The bread they serve with it just acts as a sponge to scoop up the remaining sauce/sausage combo at the end of the meal. Oh, and it's HUGE. It's usually at least three meals for us. The service at Pizza Heaven is usually great - no long waits for food and prompt service overall. If you order to go, they will have you phone number in their system after the first order, for ease of ordering. We haven't tried their vegan desserts yet - we never have room. Maybe on our next trip, we'll bring some home! read more

Quaint pizza place near downtown phoenix. Adequate parking for the size & good amount of seating inside. We got fried zucchini & it was perfectly crispy! Had the VEGAN baked Ziti yesterday and my oh my it was scrumptious. I had been hesitant to order because I thought I could easily make it at home. If I could give 10 stars I would. I came in at lunch time, it wasn't too busy. I grabbed the 1 slice and salad for $8 and tried the cheesecake for dessert. Just basic spaghetti & meatballs, but WOW! The sauce was thick, rustic, perfectly balanced, and richly flavored. Meatballs were large, tender, delicious. Foccacia bread was homemade, fresh, buttery, crusty on outside & tender inside, perfect for sopping up sauce. Servings were huge.
