Gentleman named Mathew claimed he is the owner got very nasty and said that's how it is and explicitly said don't come to Pizza Heaven anymore. We like Pizza Haven when it was owned by Mr. Frank, we told Mathew we have been customers since 1996 when the restaurant opened and never had any issues or complaints. Thought give it break this time, may be Mathew was under some type of stress. Ordered again this time ordered was incomplete and everything was burned, there was extra charge for asking more sauce on meatball sandwich and some of the order was missing. Had to go back for missing items, Mr. Mathew again got very angry and explicitly said don't come to Pizza Haven anymore. My friends raved about pizza of this restaurant and finally I came to try. It was 5 pm on Sunday, and there were no customers except my wife and I. We ordered large Works pizza(all pizzas have two sizes, but not Works). When pizza came, I could see steam out of pizza(video). At first bite, I knew the dough was different from other franchised pizzas. The center was a little soggy because of heat and topping, but it was not bad. The pizza is all about dough. It was soft and had a good texture. This pizza reminded me of famous hand-made pizza in southern California. Picked up a meatball sub from here and it was decent. I also had the honor of having a free slice of pizza from a colleague in my office who ordered from here and it was pretty good too. Although I haven't tried much from here, I have tried a couple things and I'd say if I came here again in the future I'd probably go with a slice of sausage pizza and maybe a Caesar Salad. Unfortunately my family and I had multiple poor experiences at pizza heaven. The first time we went we ordered for pick-up. The pizza, calzone, and rolls was good, however, service was poor. The man making the pizza seemed to have been having a bad day and was putting his anger out on the customers and employees. Very unprofessional. Since the food was good the first time we went, we decided to give the pizzarea another try. We ordered a dozen garlic rolls and a pizza with pepperoni. The garlic rolls are incredibly hard. It seems they over-cooked or reheated cooked rolls. We had to throw a few out. The pizza had little to no tomato sauce. It seems when it was cooked it had too many air bubbles so it turned very thin and crispy. See attached photo. Felt like I was eating pita bread not pizza dough. Went with my daughter to grab lunch here since we were shopping in that shopping plaza. She ordered a slice of pepperoni and I ordered a minestrone soup. I also ordered garlic bread while we waited for our food. The garlic bread was good but a little on the greasy side. The soup was brought out first. It was broth with a couple of floating onions. That was it! No beans or any other vegetable. I've had minestrone soup before which I've loved. This, however, was absolutely terrible! My daughter's pizza was very greasy as well. Food was inedible. I ordered chicken Marsala which was 30 dollars. We got one piece of chicken that was small. It was so tough you had to use a steak knife to cut it. A year and a half ago I thought Pizza Heaven was the best pizza/stromboli you could buy. Recently though that has changed. The price has gone up and the quantity/quality of food has gone down. The last stromboli I ordered was extra meat and the amount of meat was slim, there was less dough and it was thin, the vegetables had too much water and water ran out of the box into my car. It was disappointing for something that had been so good for so long. I know prices have to go up but quality can't go down when it happens. I used to really look forward to Pizza Heaven but now I think there's better options within 3 or 4 miles of it. I would love to see them get back to where they were. read more

Been coming here for 10 years, it used to be a place you could count on for consistently good food... the owner Frank would come around and make sure everything was ok but a couple years ago new management took over and the place has gone downhill since, inconsistent quality, smaller portions and higher prices. Last night I ordered takeout - 2 Chicken Parm dinners and the chicken cutlets were completely burnt and dried out, like a piece of leather! While Pizza Heaven isn't my favorite in Broward, it's the best that's close to home and convenient. The pizza dished out here is steadily consistent and always great. I'm a traditional cheese kinda guy but the last time I came, my family ordered some different pies and wasn't disappointed. One of the pies they ordered consisted of sausage and mushroom and veggie. The sausage/mushroom was downright delicious. I don't usually like sausage but I've honestly been craving it from here. The other was vegetable and it was a little soggy from the water content of the veggies but it was still very good. The garlic knots are addicting and perfect. The staff is always incredibly friendly. We are always immediately greeted and sat. 5/5 service every time we come in. Prices are definitely higher than expected but the food always rates quality.
